Dante kept staring at Kiera which eventually made her uncomfortable and she stopped eating, pushing the food away from her forcefully. Hikari shot a glare over to Dante and Dante gave her an apologetic look. Isa watched this all from the entrance to the kitchen, and couldn't help but think that most of the contact that went with this family wasn't mostly speaking. She found this interesting. Then noticed the book that was sticking out of Kiera's pocket. As she walked past her to the fridge she pick-pocketed Kiera and put the book in her own pocket before she went into the fridge. Kiera whined and stared at the food. "The sooner this is over the better." Hikari patted her head. "Oh don't say that. It's nice to see you looking so healthy for once." Dante finished his food and silently got up from the table and left the room. There was a kind of girlish ambiance that told him that he wasn't wanted in there and it wasn't like he wasn't going to oblige with it. If he didn't know any better he'd assume that Kiera was pregnant or something.
Meanwhile, in Japan, Mordekai took Veira in personally for himself and released her bounds and gag as he invited her politely into his study. His study wasn't much apart from it being at the top of a very revered building in Tokyo. The room itself was small, although had walls of glass which made it look larger and had a big desk in the middle with an executive chair for him and a couple of smaller chairs dotted behind it. For obvious reasons some guards were dotted around the room as a couple more seated Veira down in the visitors chair opposite the desk. Mordekai still had his hands roughly put in his pockets and he scratched his leg with his shoe-less foot lazily. He didn't seem like the type at all that would be in such a powerful position. In fact he looked more like a hobo with a plain white shirt and dirty jeans. Mordekai flashed Veira a classic business-type grin. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Yokai." Mordekai himself sat on the desk rather than the chair and brought his knees up to his chest and a thumb to his mouth in thought. "I made sure that it would be me to take you in rather than my friend from China. Do you know why this is? Don't be shy. I'm not out to hurt you. We're all friends here, right?" He spoke through a croaky voice then smirked as his eyes flashed green.

*Shortstraw shied, "i dont know about what hikari said, but... nevermind i should be quiet..." He chukkled meanwhile soflora seemed conserned for donte as she chased after him and tackled him playfully, "you okay hun?" She asked.
Meanwhile Veria crossed her arms, "You are a vary cocky man. However yes i do know why. You are in sink with what my mother had started. Infact i belive you were the one that helped her get there. But i have no problems with you, i did what i done for my own selfish purposes becuse the b***h wouldn't stay out of my head." She lazily sat back, "i also know you as a Yokai yourself also have plans." She razed a brow at him, "i seem more fit for this then you do." She smerked. She had to be alittle evil to fit the part, however, she wasn't acting. This was just her being her.

Mordekai smiled contentedly as he blinked lazily at her. "Yes I am a very cocky man. And I as a Yokai don't have any plans, actually. I helped Amelie into power, yes, but only because of my own reasons, such as your own reasons for killing her. But to my understanding Amelie is in fact not actually dead. I sense her still around on this planet. This is interesting. Is it your sister who holds her? She is not with you." Mordekai grinned again before he hopped off the desk and paced around to the window with a hunched stature. "And her children really do hate her. That's kinda funny. She was never meant to be a mother after all. I would have so loved to meet this husband of hers."
Dante nodded and smiled to Soflora. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry. Those guys never tell me anything."

Soflora giggled, "actully..." she got off him and pulled him up, "somtimes i think it's better not to know untill your suppost to." She shrugged, "sometimes things get messyer."
Meanwhile Veria shied, "I ate my mother... however her souls is vary tainted. So i stored it away somewhere untill i can put a end to her. I susspect however he probably had somthing to do with the assination mission she was sent on to take out my father or somthing." She shrugged, "Neither the less i don't care. No, we all hate our mother. Expechally after what she did to me. But you see i'm actully content with be held for my actions for once." she looked to her nails, "becuse i'll outlive everyone here anyways. Whats a cuple thousend years of prizin, complaried to my mother." She shrugged. "So tell me what are you going to do with me, hmmm?"

Mordekai grinned back to Veira. "What's it to you? You don't care, after all." He licked his lips and looked back out of the window. He put his hands in his pockets and sighed. "Your mother has been living for centuries, dying and coming back to life over and over. It's the Shinigami who do this. Her and Hikari will be existing until the ends of the earth, I can guarantee that. It's no surprise that it's driven her off the line. She is the weakest, after all." He tilted his head. "Hikari however loves life and does everything in her power to make other people happy, often forgetting herself in the process. An odd pair, those two." He nodded. "I've known them both for a very long time. But I've never seen them break apart from each other before." He looked back to Veira. "You loved your mother, didn't you? However her ways compelled you against her. Even through everything she find a loophole to get out of sticky situations. Whether people do it for her or not." He shook his head. "But the last thing you want to think about is her, I know, if you hate her as much as you claim. You did kill her after all. Hmmm.. What shall I do to you..."
Dante nodded slowly although frowned. "But this happens all the time. They always keep everything from me. Important things, too. They're all so secretive."

*Veria chukkled, "i did yes. It seems you do know her well. However no. i did not kill her, i ate her... theres a driffrence." She glared, "and i be the one stopping the shimigami from interfearing ever again. That much i will tell you." She then closed her eyes and placed her feet up on the table and leaned back in her chair, un-effected by any of this. She shrugged witha smerk, "you can do your worst if you wish..." she leaned forword then as her eyes glowed, "i dare you too. You may have thought my mother was one of those tough cookys in her own little ways, however i came from her..." she smerked evily, "and i'm sure you know i have intentions to be worse then she ever could be. So..." she giggled and leaned back again, "what will you do with me? Lock me up, try to kill me, send me back as a spy and expect my allegence, hell you can even try to burn me to a crisp. Let me have it~" She tuned.
meanwhile Soflora shied, "well you know what. We can have secrite of our own too. We may be young, but wil have or times they wont no nothing." She giggled, "and then they will be begging for us to tell them things."

Mordekai shrugged. "I'm not aggressive. I don't do that kinda s**t. That's messed up. I agree with all your half-sister's coexistence crap. However I don't agree with how she comes across with it. I just don't like her in particular." He shrugged again. "Many a bond has been broken by such selfishness. It's just a human way." He turned and walked back to her, using his foot to trip the chair and send her onto her back. "I also take great glee in seeing people fail and squirm around on the floor." He licked his lips again. "I am more familiar with your mother than you may imagine. Knowing her means also knowing much about you. However I do admit I do have a personal grudge against your family. Not because of your mother at all. She can go screw herself for all I care. But I've monitored your family for a while after what happened." He put his foot on Veira's stomach, still hunched over and grinning. "I just want to be friends. Oh and..." He took his foot off her and tilted his head slightly.
Dante grinned and nodded. "Yeah, that sounds good." Meanwhile in the kitchen, Isa grabbed some food and moved out and back up the stairs. When she was relatively safe she took out the book again and peered onto the page that Kiera had been reading before. She suddenly dropped the book and frowned. Kiera had in fact told her about the time that she had two sides and one side took over the body of one of Amelie's nephews. But apart from that no other investigation had gone into who the father of River was. But this book showed that..
"Call me uncle." Mordekai licked his lips and moved a little away from her. "Uncle Mordekai." He scratched his leg with his foot and itched his head. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, sweet niece."

*Veria giggled, "ah so you are that brother she spoke of. She ddin't really say much about you." She shrugged, "but still things dont change." She grinned, "Eve is a foolish girl, however a powerful one. I Hate her myself. However i am not your freind. If your really family aslwell then prove it." She shrugged, however stayed there on the floor as she figured moving would make her gaurds thing she would attempt to make a move aginst him or somthing, "Are you going to let me go with a message then?" She looked to him, "or perhaps is there another option you would like to oppose too?" She shrugged.

Mordekai dragged his tongue across his teeth and glanced to her lazily and almost with disregard. "I literally just told you that I don't give two shits about being aggressive neither do I have any intentions of interfering with your pathetic family. Even if I said I had a grudge. You're all expendable." He raised an eyebrow at her and sneered, although she wouldn't have been able to see it through his overgrowing thick dark hair. "And get up for christs' sake. You look like a turd lying there on the floor." It was fair to say that Mordekai was a little more friendly than Amelie and more relatable. Hell it was even fair to say that he could have been trustworthy. "I have nothing to prove to you, either. You just met me and you're already asking me to bind myself to whatever family values you hold. It's as you said. Things don't change. Things just get more interesting." He turned on one foot playfully, and swung from side to side as he stood. "I'm just around to watch everything. Always have done. Hence, I have the highest life expectancy out of my two siblings and myself."

*Veria shied, "i don't give too shits if you care or not." She sat up and stood, "however i cannot go back without countrys waging war. I am a prizoner of of truses... although," She crossed her arms, "i'm sure you already know my intentions. What i want to do. Do you think there is a way to clear my name with your power over things. you seem to have china on your key chain aswell."

Mordekai looked into the distance in mock thought and then brought a hand to his ear. "What was that? Did I hear you ask for something? The infamous Veira I hear of all the time asking for something? Blasphemy I say!" He joked, then turned around and grinned. "If you ask for something you do realise that it's common courtesy to be nice to the person you're asking. You're never gonna get what you want if you talk to people in that tone." He grinned to her. "I like you, kid. But you're kinda ignorant and think you know everything, just like your mother." He then nodded and yawned. "Yeah. China's leader is a good friend of mine. He looked after me when I was a kid in this life and when I grew up we happened to be good allies because of the bond we have. Soppy s**t I know but, it's useful to have a whole country in your stead. And an ally with one of the fastest growing populations in the world. I could certainly help you. But first you're gonna have to be nice to me. Like a good little girlie."

Veria chukkled, "your a interesting fellow." She put a hand on her hip and smerked, "you seem like a fun one. not at all what i would expect." She shrugged, "and we all have our squishy sides and storys." She nodded and leaned on his desk, "not at all what i expected so far." She made a face, "however i am used to being decived from people like my mother. So understand i cannot be easy on you untill i know more myself. I am a deamon after all." She brushed her hair of her shoulder and looked away, "and i will admit this is better then being in a prizen."

Mordekai nodded slowly and scratched his forehead. "China would have had you in one of their high-security prisons locked somewhere deep down in a place of no return. Count yourself lucky, kid. This place is five star." He sneered. "And I don't blame you for being careful. Plenty of people have got themselves into a shithole after being too trustworthy of people they just met." He went around the desk to go sit in his executive chair, knees dragged up to his chest awkwardly and like a child. "My sisters are emotional fools, you see. The slightest tweak and they lose their cool. They expect people to fall to their every word." He licked his lips and spun around in the chair slowly. "I'm not so ignorant. I know how people work." He suddenly laughed. "However it does seem that every single member of this family is cocky in their own way. I like that. Some kind of common factor is the best way to get to know people."

I am the odd one of the familiys youth however..." she shied and looked to her big squished butt making his desk start to fold alittle under her waight as she stood fully and turned to him, "i too have many objectives. Infact I have people who need me at home if i can help it. I do not mean to be rushful, however i have alotof work too do." She looked to the table, "do i owe you already?" She smerked and looked up to him. "Hmmm Mr Uncle? And even more so, do you concider me a allie?"

Mordekai chewed his bottom lip as he looked to her. "It will take a lot of explaining to China's leader. But I suppose I could let you go. And to answer your question dear niece, yes, I do consider you an ally. I consider all of my family to be allies. Why do you think I helped your mother? Not because I liked her, oh no." He scoffed. "I despise the woman." He spun in his chair again. "But unfortunately I have a weak spot for family, and she came calling on my doorstep. I couldn't turn her down." He licked his lips and shut his eyes. "Call on me whenever you like. I can be of any assistance to you. But.. not that half-sister of yours. I don't like her. I haven't yet met any of your other siblings so I don't have an opinion of them yet. And I also don't believe that people owe me things or I owe other people things. Just that if I scratch someones back it'd be terribly nice for someone to scratch mine." He turned and smirked to her. "Now be off with you. I have a lot of documents to fill out and little time to do them in.
