Danny heard rustling in teh woods, someone was watching him, he'd have to play it normal. He saw Nicole, she was angry obviously. "Hey Nicole are you okay??" He looked at how high she was up in the tree, he shrugged, and climbed it. He used the branches as hold and slowly made his way up to Nicole. From this vantage point he could make out everything around him, Emma was sitting with a bow in her hand watching him. He made no immediate movement to show he saw her instead he jsut pretended to slip fomr a branch and while pulling himself up he acted like he was looking for another branch to jump to while scanning quickly. He found one and jumped to it, he had to play the part afterall. a few moments passed untill he reach the top and sat donw next to Nicole, "Never...Make me...climb...again.." He was breathing heavily, he hated climbing.

Nicole made the fire from her hands extinguish (Is that how you spell it?) But kept her eyes glowing red. "Hmm.... No. I was thinking about your feelings about me. Nicole said as she plucked a leaf of the branch and brunt it to a crisp. "Danny, what are your real feelings for me?" Nicole asked. Starting at him like she was trying to figure 1 million things at once.

Danny sighed and looked up at Nicoel, "I thought it was obvious that I love you," He stood up and kissed Nicole pssionatly, "Does that show you how I feel?" His eys gleamed and his smile was warm. His heart was in the right place, he did love her but his fate was sealed if it was differant he would have loved to date her but things weren't they were as they were and he'd never live without the greef of killing Nicole. He sat back down on the branch and sighed once again, this was getting harder adn harder to fake. Each time he talked to her his heart warmed and he felt the need to protect her.He looked up at the skies and muttered, "If I could I'd make the gods worship your beauty."

Thefire dissappeared from Nicole's eyes. "Danny, you're the only peson who thinks im cute... Well, besides that creep jimmy, or jake or what ever. I-I'm a child of Hephaestus. We take after our father. Most people see us as ugly. Or as some Aphrodite kids call me, Dumpster queen." Nicole said then looked down sadly.

"Well Nicole I believe theres a beauty in all of us." He kissed ehr cheek, "And if anyhting your inner beauty outmatches anything the Aphrodite kids cna muster." He smiled and took out Glory. "This sword is the hero within me." He took out a black dagger form his back pocket, "This is the evil within me." He sighed and jumped off the tree landing on his feet. He walked toward the bush where Emma was hiding.

What the guy had failed to notice was that Jake had been moving steathily from tree to tree, out of Danny's line of sight when he had looked. He stayed at distance of about 30 yards opposite of where the tree the two were in was. He had lost sight of Emma but it did not matter. From where he was crouched behind a big oak, Jake saw them stop making out and the guy jump down, a black dagger in hand, and watched as he started to head towards some bushes. Must be Emma, he realized. Quickly, he raises his crossbow, looked down the scope, and fires with a silent twack, barely audible. He had been aiming at a tree Danny would have passed a mere two seconds later, burying itself in the tree with the fletching quivering inches in front of Danny. If the guy had any sense he would stop or be clothslined by the bolt. Quickly, Jake reloaded and moved silently behind a different tree. Danny could not see him, his back was turned. Jake silently lined up another shot, this time on Danny, and waited for his reaction.

Danny was unfazed by the bolt he just ripped it free form the tree. He turned to where the bolt had come from then, remembering that the cowboys weapon was a crossbow, He shrugged and kept moving the black dagger had charred all the veins on the left of his body turning it black this side Danny aptly named Death. The only thing that remained the pale white color it was normally was his face. The right side of his body shone brightly it looked angelic, Danny named this side Justice. It was as if he were two bodies put together to form one. He stopped meters form Emma. the left side wanted to kill her while the right side wanted answers as to why she was here. Danny's body was at war with itself, however if he was faced with death the two personas would agree on one thing. Survival.

Danny stood right above me with his sword. It didn't even phase me, I just stood up with the arrow pointed at his head. It didn't even talk I just stood there ready to shoot at any given moment. I knew what he wanted to do and I wasn't going to let him.

Danny looked to Emma and rushed forward, He grabed the bow and flicked hsi wrist making it fire harmlessly into the air, the arrow hit a tree with a loud TWACK Danny brought hsi knife up to her throat adn his sword point pointing to the cowboy, "Fire the bolt and I'll slit her throat without a second thought!" Death was speaking. hHe let the sword fall back to his side, he sheathed the blade but kept his hand on it. Danny looked to Nicole, "I wish things were different..." He looked back to Emma and Justice spoke, "I'm sorry Emma but you were about to fire on me and I don't like that

I just rolled my eyes at Danny. "If your going to kill me just kill me already I'm getting really tired of this. And I swear if you just injure me and I have to go to the infirmary again I'll make sure you rot in the underworld" not that it was actually possible since he'd have to be dead to be in the underworld. "Same goes if you just hurt my bow"

Danny shrugged and let the knife fall back to his side then without a moments notice he shoved the knife into her chest missing her heart by inches. "You wanted death," He looked her in the eye, his eyes had a red tint to it, "Then you've got it!" He grinned and turned around with the blade still in her chest. He was laughing like a maniac, "Here cowboy shoot me!!!"

Oh fu.. Jake thought as he fired from the position he had silently crept to. The bolt aimed at the side of his head. He reloaded and drew his knife. Holding his arms perpendicular, he had his bowie knide held in a fold to where he could stab instantly, tactical knife stylee, with his arm holding his crossbow pointing at its target. He fired again, coming out of his hiding place. This time aimed at Danny's chest. It was a simple movement to grab a new bolt from the horizontal rack on the crossbow and reload.

Danny dodged the first bolt and let the second bolt hit him in the chest. He laughed, "Pathetic!" he ripped the bolt free form his chest, he was now in a homicidal rage. He ripped the dagger free form Emma adn began to walk toward the cowboy. Danny drew Glory adn began to dash toward the cowboy occasionaly zig zagging so Jake would have a hard time aiming his crossbow.

Jake held his fire, waiting for Danny to present more of a target. When he got within 3 yards Jake fired at his head. He then would stab forward with his knife, aiming for the heart. The crossbow was a silent and predrawn weapon, so it was already loaded and ready to fire. It made no sound and with the speed of 55 to 60 mph, Danny had no way to anticipate the bolt and no way to dodge at that range. Even if he did by some miracle avoid the bolt to the head, he would have to recover to attack, and by then the knife would be in him. Either way, Danny was done.
