Raine had moved onto Rhone but instead of grabbing him out right she looked at him instead and asked questions, "Your an elf, aren't you... who has strange skin because you used," she picked up the arm that had the strange exsphere on it. "this... am I right in assuming this?"
"Hey how come me and Oro get fully examined while he just gets that?" Schwarz was rubbing his back as he asked.
"I do believe it was Sheena that said that we were new to Raine."
"but she just,"
"Would you rather take on being her research subject or Ironfeather's wrath?"
Schwarz put his hand over his ears "Lalalalalalalalalala. I'm not listening. Lalalalalala."

Rhone grinned.
Well, that's not the only thing it did to me....check this out.
His back opens, bleeds slightly again, and two asymmetrical wings come out. One is feathered and one is made of what looks like black bones, but is larger than the feathered one. Two zig-zagged horns grew out of his head and a zig-zagged tail appeared as well.
This is the extent of what that object did to me. Of course, because of that I can actually use my exsphere to its full potential. I can also change my body to look like the way I did before the mutation, so it's not that bad really. I just like not using the disguise because I can't fight when I'm using it. ^_^"

Azriel and Sheena winced a bit as they caught sight of Rhone bleeding.

Raine looked intently at Rhone wings, "I agree that does look a bit painful."
"... is it just me, or is our before we came here full of freaks, Oro and I included of course. I mean, two 6000 year old wolf spirits, one mutant elf, a half-elf that has two others inside her, the only summoner in the world, a human with a soul combined with a demon, and two guys that are from the time guard. If this keeps up we will be able to make a freak show."
Oro bit his brother's hand hard, "Ouch! Holy afterlife! That hurts like son of a-!"
"Say the next word and I'll bite you again." Oro then curled up on the table again.

It's a little painful, but over the years I've gotten used to it. Honestly, this body I've got doesn't feel pain very much. Juuuust enough to tell me when I'm really messed up. ^_^" Of course, if I'm in my disguise, I feel pain as much as any normal elf does.

I dunno, Grimm, I kinda like being analyzed. Raine's a scholar after all, maybe she can help me unlock some latent abilities or something. Besides, it's nice having a pretty woman studying me. At least in my opinion.
Rhone laughed at his own comment and relaxed his wings.

"Hey who are you calling an idiot!" Schwarz yelled at his brother, slamming his fist on the table. He was feeling a bit irritable at the moment.

"Enough!" Raine turned on the two brothers and looked as if she was about to snap, "do you two know how hard it is to study something like this with someone yelling!?! Shut your traps right now ! Oro you sit on the an arm of the sofa that Sheena and Azriel are occupying, Schwarz go stand beside Cinkel over there... DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!!!"
"Y-yes cr-crystal c-clear." Oro scurried and sat on the arm out of fear.
Schwarz ran to the wall Cinklel was leaning on, "Scary much scarier then Oro..." he mumbled to himself as he slid down on the wall and sat down. Raine then turned back to Rhone and took a wing in her hands to inspect it.

Cinkel looked as if he was about to burst into laughter, "Guess...hehe...I was wrong." Tears welled up in his eyes from preventing the laughter, "Poor pups..hehheh." He turned his head from the group to hide his grin.

Both Sheena and Azriel leaned back in their seats with their eyes widened in surprise, as if Raine's outburst were like a strong wind about to topple them over. Even though Sheena was well acquainted with Raine, these outbursts could still take her breath away.
