Merlin, giving up on getting the book read, attempted to absorb it into himself. That didn't quite work, and the book simply fell with the clatter of plastic and paper on metal. Sighing, the Misdreavus picked up the book, carrying it back to the cart. As he got near to the light, he noticed a single word on the page the book was open to (he didn't bother closing it). It was the only word he knew. Merlin sort of stared at his own name on the page. "What in the Hall?" was all he managed to say, perplexed as to how his name got into a book.

Liz followed along, rolling on the pokeball just for the hell of it.
Hah. Now they couldn't take it away! it was hers...
Although...
She supposed she'd give the Electrike up to that trainer. it had been a week, and already Liz had forgotten the name.
whatever. She knew she was only rented for the week, so it didn't matter anyway. it wasn't as if shed meet the stupid trainer again.
She could see just fine with the laptop light, even the parts that weren't int he direct beam. Her eyes gleamed with reflected light as her eyes worked to keep things visible.
Flash would be nice.
"Maybe one of the electrikes can use flash. I bet they could. I don't want to wake 'em though..." she mutters in response to the murkrow.

 The excitement of the quick meal easily left Dakota's mind as she perked up slightly at the sound of a door opening. She had just attached herself to her trainer's bag when she was suddenly airborne. She let out a grunt and looked around, but couldn't really see too much around her. This was always one disadvantage of being a smaller Pokemon: You could get picked up so easily.
So for the majority of the ride, Dakota held onto Phoebe's bag with her teeth as she helplessly dangled from her Furret-friend's mouth. Her nose did start to go into overdrive as the overwhelming smell of Phoebe and others brushed past her. Her nub was wagging feverishly.
Only when she was set down did she show her full level of excitement:
"I smell you! Come out, come out, COME OUT!" Dakota barked out in a higher more excited pitch than usual. She pressed her paws against the door, bounced to the side, and scraped at the door with her paws.

Aries was panting trying to find all of the other Pokemon yet again. He had taken quite a bit of time to snag Black's bandolier from its storage space and had finally found a Pokemon who was able to help him strap over his smaller puppy body. Now it was snug, yet not so tight that it was choking him. He could hear the familiar jingle of several items in the pouches moving as he ran, turning to look at Rental.
"Come on! We gotta hurry! They may have found a way out by now!"
How long he had taken he didn't know, but he did know that he had taken quite a few wrong turns into empty rooms and hallways before deciding just to catch their scent and chase it. Rental, for some reason, has chosen to stick with him. He hadn't minded until he had started losing her, too. Now he was slowing his pace, making sure she could keep an eye on him while still climbing stair, slowly but surely.

Penners stayed close to the pokemon in front of her as she slowly crept along the hallway, hoping fervently that there wasn't a team of Rockets waiting to recapture them, but also fearing it was true. They were heading to their doom.

Buddy walked forward, staying in Menudo’s reach. The fresh air was welcome, but he wondered what else would happen before they would be free at last. He was very careful not to trip, and for this reason, he was walking instead of rolling.
Oh, and he had just taken whatever bag was left in that previous room. He was dragging that grey bag with a lot of junk inside, and hoped his human would go back and get his, or her backpack himself, or herself.

Crescent rose to her feet as the door was opened. Joining the first wave of pokemon to exit the crowded room, she was relieved at the hint of fresh air. As soon as she got out of this complex she was going to create a winter wonderland for herself and never leave, no matter what Nyght said. This had not been a fun week and she wanted nothing more than to feel snow under her paws....

YAY!!! [THIS IS A NORMAL SWARM! They were close to their goal. Rebecca felt sure of it. She'd found Grace's red headscarf among the bits and pieces, and she'd carefully wrapped her Charmander's Pokéball in it for safekeeping before they left the dark room. She didn't want her Trainer to think she'd done any of this by half-measures. Besides which, the scrap of red cloth was comforting. It was something she could give back to Grace when she found her again.
"They'd better be all right," she said darkly, "or all the Rockets in this base are going to have nightmares for the rest of their sorry lives..."

Merlin saw the swarm of dark pokemon running through the hall. Frustrated that he was having no success at reading the book, he flung his safari ball in anger at the group. He didn't care if he caught one, but the sound of the ball hitting something was very stress relieving.Pokeball GO!

Ivrea stayed close to the group. Success. The "good" humans were okay. Absols galore. Ivrea peered closer. What the? Why was her human, fluorescein in a nighttime teddy? It was garish and scary but the beadwork was exquisite.
Ivrea stayed back, not wanting to use her pokeball to beat the Absols into submission.

Daybreak had been following the group silently, in anticipation of seeing the trainers again and getting out of here.
And they finally did! Except there was a group of Absols near them? She wondered why the Rockets would waste manpower (or Pokepower in this case) to guard a bunch of sleeping trainers.
No matter. She had to use her claws to drive them off again, since they were dark type. But catching one with a Pokeball was probably a better tactic.

Zyk was so startled that he dove right into the bag of pokeballs. One of them flew into the air right at the absols...POKEBALL GO!!((Note: I am ONLY going for the shiny, number 3. If I get any others, please reroll))

When the door opened, Dakota attempted to dash in to go find her trainer. However, that wasn't going to work at all.
The moment she dashed in, 4 rather fierce looking Absol began to charge in her direction. She hadn't quite recovered from her battles with the door and the strange harnesses, so she was not one up for battling. Turning around, she ran out of the room again with the yelped "RUN AWAY!"((Good luck to all trying for the Absols ;D ))

"Cab!" Penners made a dash toward the cages when she saw the woman who had treated her nicer than she'd ever been treated, but then a quartet of terror barred her way! "No! I must see Cab!" She hurled the pokeball at the group and tried to dodge around the other balls flying by on her way to the cages.POKEBALL GO!!
