The truth was that Rachel typically ate with a bit more grace and civility than she was currently displaying, but a near-death experience followed by an incredibly physically exhausting magical contract and healing ritual does tend to tire one out. While she normally had a healthy appetite anyway due to her body naturally needing more fuel to keep her powers functioning at their peak, this was even more food than usual for her, and she felt like she was starving. Table manners could take a backseat just this once while she regained her strength.
Eventually, she got around to the point where she was no longer feeling quite so worn down anymore, and her etiquette slowly returned to her. Taking a drink of her milk and twirling some pasta around her fork, she swallowed down a bite before hoisting her backpack up onto the table. Drawing out the scroll case from before, she carefully removed its contents, making sure not to get it anywhere near the food. Holding the papers in one hand, she scanned them over visually while drinking milk with the other hand, curious as to what important things Graymalk might have scribed there. They'd have to be pretty big for him to take such careful pains to make sure they were hidden and safe like this.

The fur on the back of Graymalk's neck fluffed slightly. Cats didn't strictly have ESP, but he could tell when someone was focusing his or her attention upon him this intensely. He continued reading, but telepathically contacted Rachel through their Pactio.
Be careful, Rachel. Someone's watching. Without giving anything away, I want you to hand me the list and a pen so I can obscure it. You'll be able to read it, but no one else will. We can discuss the contents this way. It's unlikely that anyone will figure out what we're doing from that list, but it's best to be careful; surprise is a key here.

Lancaster didn't seem to stumble after the small girl jumpped off his shoulders, he just leaned over so the over six foot tall drop wouldn't be so bad. He looked to Tsuki then around the room at the other people eating. "Ame, don't what you want to get your food first?" He walked over to the robot, he fished for his ID card from a pocket and inserted it into the slot. The machine prompted him to order he leaned over and spoke, "Just some of that fine tea you have." He walked over to the other side taking the cup of tea and smiled.
He walked past the other students bowing his heads to those who looked. He did how ever spot a darling girl with glasses. He smiled and bowed his head to her "What a darling little mouse." he whispered while he passed by her to the table that Ame had desired to sit at. He pulled out a chair and sat down, he brushed back his hair and crossed his leg, throwing one of his arms back behind the chair. His other hand lifted up the tea cup, pressing it against his soft pink lips, he took a long slow sip before setting the cup down, it clacking against the tea plate.

Rachel turned her head away from the girl that was observing them just briefly, flashing Graymalk a look of acknowledgement by blinking her eyes meaningfully. Setting the papers face down in front of her, she pulled a pen out of her backpack, setting it on top of the list and pushing them both in Graymalk's direction. She covered this by making it look like she wanted to move her tray closer to her as she took another bite of spaghetti. Watching Graymalk out of the corner of her eye, she continued to eat quietly.

Ruth watched as the girl devoured her food, and then pull out scrolls from her backpack. Ruth was curious as to what those scrolls were. But she suddenly sensed the two were not at ease anymore. She realised that they knew she was watching them. Ruth due to manners moved closer to the window in her booth and stared outside once again, so she would not intrude on the two's meal.

That man had called Rachel a mouse! How rude! His catly sensibilities offended, Graymalk briefly considered sending a hex in his direction, or at least sending one of the local spirits to haunt him for a while, when Rachel passed him the list.
To be honest, Graymalk was a bit annoyed with himself as well. If he'd been thinking, he would have disguised the list as something mundane earlier, but it was too late for that now. Taking the pen in his teeth, Graymalk scrawled an elaborate pattern on the back of the page, intoning a brief spell which included Rachel and himself and excluded all others. He would come up with a better disguise later, but for now anyone other than the two of them who looked at the page would be unable to equate the letters and words they saw there with the sounds and meanings they represented. The letters themselves wouldn't change, but the person looking at them would have about as much idea of what they meant as an illiterate trying to read Oggham.
OK, Rachel, the spell's in place sent Graymalk. It's not perfect, but the list should be safe for now. Read away.

Rachel reached for the list again after taking a few more bites of her meal, quietly reading it over as if nothing odd at all had happened several seconds ago. Reaching over to pet Graymalk again, she stroked gently at his fur as she scanned over the list. It appeared to be a rather long and somewhat involved list of various magical and mundane ingredients, with seemingly very little actual connection between any of them. She nodded slightly to herself as she looked it over, sending her thoughts to Graymalk in return as she neared the end of the list.
So what exactly is all of this? she asked. I can't make much sense of it on its own, but it looks like a pretty hefty list of potential spell components for a rather large ritual. Do you really need all of this to get Jill back? I'm not even sure some of these things exist...

Graymalk thought about that for the moment. Do I need it all? Well, that depends. A kid with a chemestry set and an encyclopedia can blast open a safe, but he's a lot more likely to blow off his own hand, and that's if he's lucky. That list contains stuff that's been used in situations like this before. Some of it's for opening the portal, some of it's for pulling Jill out, some of it's for keeping everything else in, some of it's for closing the portal, and some of it's for killing anything else that gets loose along the way. Most of it does more than one of those things, of course. I don't really expect us to get all of it, but we're gonna need a hefty bit if we're gonna have even a reasonable chance of succeeding. By this point Graymalk's food was finished.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure that all but the most esoteric things on the list can be found right here on Ria's campus. If you have any questions about the ingredients, I'll be happy to explain them; otherwise, I'm ready to go whenever you are. Don't get me wrong, humans are fine, but crowds of them make me nervous; you never know when they're going to stampede.
Graymalk paused a moment. Oh, and thanks a lot for the food. It was excellent.

Ame plopped down into the cushion seat and then stopped short. "Wait...I didn't get my food!" She ran to the front, where the androids were at, and stared at them passively for a few moments. The androids did not blink, neither did Ame. It was if they were in some sort of staring contest. Glaring, Ame finally swipped her student ID card. After this she told the android what she wanted. Ame finally came back to the table, carrying an ice cream cone that was almost bigger than she was. She grinned merrily as she began to nibble slowly from the top. "Heh!"

Rachel gave a short nod, enjoying a little inward smile at Graymalk's explanation of the ritual - it was really a pretty good analogy, she thought. Very appropriate to describe the huge amount of potential danger she'd be getting herself into. Shaking her head momentarily, she mused on the fact that a mere month ago, she would never have agreed to such a massive undertaking like this, letting Graymalk listen to these thoughts as well. It was sort of her backward Rachel way of saying thanks for opening her up to a whole world that she never knew existed outside of her books. Finishing up her food, she packed away the list in the scroll case once again, putting it back in her backpack, which she then slung over her shoulder. Noticing that Graymalk had finished as well, she picked up the plate and carton of milk from next to him, placing it on her tray and taking her garbage to the trash cans.
Okay... we can talk about this some more later, Rachel suggested, still speaking through her mental link. It's been kind of a full day, so I think we should call it quits for now. I'm heading home to relax a little. We'll catch up soon.
With that, she started toward the door, motioning for her feline companion to follow her if he felt so inclined. Shaking her head a little, she continued thinking of the various events of the past few days, still half-wondering if she was asleep and dreaming somewhere. It all seemed a bit too surreal. But that was musing for later.

((Hey hey misao....Lancaster is a boy not a girl...how mean not paying attention crying ))
Lancaster watched Ame run for her meal. A large ice cream cone....yes he thought, she was a young sprite for sure, no matter how hard she tried to acted mature. The childlike nature of a sprite always came through in the end. Lancaster smiled waving his pinking finger that was raised up off the tea cup at Ame, inviting her to sit down and relax with him. All that who was left was Tsuki.

Ame flopped down, getting about as much of the ice cream on her face as she did in her mouth. When she was finished she quickly wiped it away and began to gaze around the room. "I want more friends!" She said, tugging at Lancaster's shirt. "Lets get some!" She cried, partially pouting. she pointed at the various people. "Everyone else is so much bigger than me!" She sighed, casting her head down. "I've always been the smallest person"

Ria wondered out of the gates and found herself in the dining hall, she could smell food and her tummy rumbled "Ohhh..so hungry..it smells good..I wonder what's for dinner.." she was drooling and she was about to take a few steps into the kitchen, when she spotted Ame, imediatly she came over to her, after hearing her say she wanted freinds. "Hello!" she said in a cheery perky voice, which annoyed her rival, Murasame. "You want freinds? I'm Ria..nice to meet you, what's your name?" Ria was a tad shorter than Ame, but she didn't care. The little spaz gave a smile.

((O_O; Wow, theres someone smaller than Ame. Thats a rare occurance. Most characters are taller than 4'0))
Ame's eyes grew wide when she noticed Ria. She stood next to her and marveled that she was actually in fact a tiny bit taller than the other girl. "Lancaster-kun!" She gasped, grabbing his arm. "Shes shorter than me!" She jumped happily infront of Ria, who had brown hair and purple eyes and was very busty. Ame grinned merrily. "I'm Ame!"

((I'm just treating Lancaster as though it's day time...))
Bijou walked into the Dining hall. It was more busy than last night, but not much. She trotted around, finding a table to sit at, and soon enough she saw the blonde guy who had scared her earlier. Odd enough though, was that she couldn't recognize him at first. She had gotten used to his long black hair and golden eyes. But she still remembered the blonde one that had originally scared her.
She smiled at him. He was with two other girls she didn't recognize, but that was fine. Two new friends for her, right? "Hello, Lancaster." She said. "Is it all right if I sit with you?" She didn't wait for an answer. She sat down and looked at the two girls he was with. Both were very short. about a foot shorter than Bijou. Which was a huge difference from the tall, lanky figure that belonged to Lancaster.
Then she decided it was impolite just to sit with two unknown girls, so she looked at both of them with a big grin and said: "Hello, I'm Bijou. What's your name?" Her grin shrank a little when she spoke, but it was OK. That's what smiles do. She couldn't help it.
