And around the world he would fly, until...

THOOOM!

The dust clouds and rubble would part to reveal a very very very deep crater.

Although the crater was too deep for anyone to see the bottom of really, the one thing the camera would catch a glimpse of, would be a faint light coming from below. At least, it started out as a feint light.

The light would quickly grow in intensity, until finally it erupted from the crater, making it wider, in fact. A massive ball of energy HEADED STRAIGHT FOR KATSU!

Firing that ball, from the bottom of the crater, would be a very bloody, and very pissed off Okura.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"

And the ball did fly back into the crater, and Okura did something unexpected... he flew towards it, still screaming like a maniac.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

As he slamed into his own ball, it didn't explode. No, Okura had jammed his right fist into it. The flying ball of destruction, had now become a bigass boxing glove of sorts.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

He's be flying towards Katsu at amazing speeds, undetectable by the eyes of those with lower power levels.

Once he got close enough, he's throw his super punch of doom, with explosive results! If it hit, it would surely knock Katsu through several rock formations and cliffs!

And it hurt, alot.

Through the rock formations...through everything.

He would emerge moments later, miraculously healed by Senzu. He rushed back at the man and grasped hold of him.

"AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH"

He would take in as much energy as he could before exploding.

((I got to go anyway...lol. Fun fight though, we'll have to do it again or something.))

Senzu got the newspaper, then went into the bathroom to spend a few hours grunting loudly and trying to squeeze out another earth.

A distorting haze in the atmosphere would be the only indication that something was coming, even as his left leg blurred into view.

With a swift crack, Vahn would aim to strike out at Joshua's chin, snapping the head violently to the side with the motion.

The amount of speed involved was inhuman, to say the least.

When Vahn had looked to be immitating a steam engine, perhaps it wasn't that much of a joke. If Joshua had been watching Vahn, after he unleashed his attack.. he would have seen something interesting.

Depending on how good his eyes were for keeping up in high speed combat... he would have seen Vahn kick the ground a total of 10 times in rapid sucession in the blink of an eye, before using the built up tension to literally bulldoze forward in a "flash".

The manuever was akin to 'shaving', where the user moves at very high speeds in order to avoid attacks, as well as to attack at higher speeds.

However... how could Vahn's body sustain such high speeds, and the strain accompanied with it?

It was easy... once Vahn had entered 'Counter Mode'. Although it would'nt last for a very long time.. and the side effects were highly disastrous, Vahn's new 'mode' was similar to Vulcanization.

Vahn had actually affected his body on a massively internal scale with a chemical process in which individual polymer molecules were linked to other polymer molecules by atomic bridges(this was most likely due to the fact that because of the unique fire glands which developed within his body, he could already alter chemical states within as well as outside). With this, he had made his individual molecules locked together to a greater extent. This made the flesh and muscle harder, much more durable as well as more resistant. The steam emmitted also transformed the surface of his body (covered in sweat and blood) from a sticky feel to a smooth soft surface.

Yellowed eyes stared out mercilessly.

Not missing a single beat, his body vanished from plain sight yet again. Moving soley with his left leg, the right dangling uselessly, he shot off the ground; striking rapidly to build momentum with his left foot (like a piston).

Even as Joshua's body hung a mere two feet off the ground, spinning as it did, Vahn appeared above him.

"HOUU!!"

Stamping downward with his left greave, he would impact against Joshua aiming to send crashing back and through the floor itself, shattering what remained of the cathedral's floor. With nothing but the massive branch supporting the structure, Joshua would find the ground rather quickly and go bouncing off to the side.

There was no doubt about it. No other possibly way... for sure, Vahn...

"I'm glad I met you here."

...Had figured out how to finally use Counter Mode, and after so long was able to move around with it! His body had finally become strong enough to use it with relative ease... and now maybe Joshua would understand why he said what he said.

As it is, Vahn finally stopped moving, landing on bark. The great arch and shattered stained glass window above him framing his steaming body, even as it fell backwards like a cheap background. Yellowed eyes clashing with dark flesh, the greaves of black flame and that right hand of burning will.

"....Hah....Hah...Hah..."

It seemed the fight was going to end very soon, one way or the other.
