Daniel frowned in thought, Wuneye would not fit in most of the ship, and the weight might affect their arrival time, then again he couldn't just leave him here. He couldn't stand when the genius of the world made a creature and dumped them when they got tired of them or the creature didnt turn out quite right. it was like abandoning a child.

"Just hang on, I will return for you" Daniel tells the armored giant, "I cant leave him hanging out here. We can take him as far as cog island."

Daniel turns his board around heading back to the deck. He knew he might pay for helping the giant later, but he could not bring himself to leave him stranded, how ever much of the problem was wuneye's fault.

"PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME!" Wails Wuneye, for as strong and menacing as he looked, he certainly did not have the proper attitude. "Dont leave me like that ol' sparky did. He made wuneye like he is and gets mad cause i didn't get proper brains and out the window i goes. Life no fair" genuine tears falling from his eyes, for all his rather imposing stature, one could almost feel sorry for the lug.

"please don't leave wuneye..."

[cabins]

After having been cowering in a corner, Martha recomposed herself. "Rosie didn't move. It must have been my imagination. I need some fresh air."

She left her cabin without noticing the koala doll waved her goodbye.

[deck]

Martha breathed deeply by her enormous appendage. "At last."

Alexandria smiled at the Captain's kindness and nodded to the creature hanging from the balloon.

"Mr. One-eye, Captain Daniel will be back in a moment for you. Don't fret."

She smiled at him, deciding upon the side of his tears that he as really more of a six-year old than a great threat. Her copper curls flitted about her face in the breeze. The Breeze?

"Captain, the wind is picking up...it will blow his balloon away. Could we not tow him back?"

[Galley]

Penelope had the stove and oven going almost full blast as she cooked. The kitchen was growing incredibly warm. Little waves of heat escaped every time she opened the oven. She went to the window and tried to get it open to let in some outside air, or let out some of the heat. Hopefully, both.

The window was stuck closed, no matter how hard Penelope pushed. She jiggled the little handle on the edge and tried to pry it open with a spatula, even. Finally, after nearly breaking the spatula, the window jerked open about an inch. She turned the little handle at the edge to make it open as far as possible.

She leaned out to breathe the clean, cool air. Outside, as she saw, was Mr Daniel, Miss Alexandria, and Miss Sylvian on a sort of hovering train. They were talking to a large reddish thing attached to a balloon.

Sylvian looks at the red behemoth. "What a waste of perfectly good parts. I could do a better job with the tools clamped firmly between the hemispheres of my rump."

Alexandria covered her mouth to keep from laughing at Sylvian's crude little comment.

(( the kitchen sounds so lovely and warm. I'm freezing! >< ))

Daniel sweatdropped and forced his brain not to visualize the mad girls comment.

Frowning at the turn in winds, he circled around back to Wuneye and detached his passengers, just as quickly reattaching them to the netting of the balloon.

As his board had the turbine, and what with his wings, he figured that he ought to be the one to push.

"Hold on ladies and gentleman" He calls, reving the engine and starting his wings. with the board and insect like buzzing wings, one could hazard that Dan looked like a dragon fly.

"Sylvian, is it possible to repair wuneyes brains? at least to some degree?" It wasnt like they had any spare human parts lying around....

She kicks at the link connecting her platform to the one in front, and then moves her foot back to gun the turbine. With a graceful swoop, her board moves up to where Wuneye is.

"I can't do anything about the brain itself, but the brain's only half of the problem. I can fix the shoddy workmanship and poor maintenance."

Alexandria eyes Sylivian closely. She was going to...work on this creature? Rebuild him? It seemed like it.

Alexandria extended a finger a gently poked the balloon, grinning as it swayed gently in the breeze just like some magnificent sail stretched taught in the winds at sea.

Examining the balloon, she noticed how damaged the simple controls were.

"Captain, may I have a look at the balloon once we are back on the Khaos? I'd like to try and get her flying properly again." She bit her lip. Her father used to have aeronauts come for dinner sometimes when she was a child, and their stories of flying adventures had always stuck with her. She'd almost been up in one of their balloons once, when her nurse had run screaming into that lawn that she'd be killed.

(tok you do know that its only a balloon correct? wuneye is tied to a balloon. no heating element or anything just a balloon.)

[sky]
"Ask wuneye, its his balloon, but we do have a tug ship in the hanger and it uses a blimp-like system. If you want to tinker with it, by all means go ahead."

Turning back to the task at hand, "Now sir, lets get you aboard."

Reving his turbine, Daniel moves behind the giant, gripping the ropes that attached him. starting his wings up and matching the speed with the turbine, they began to move forward.

"Tank you Kindly Fly Man!" wuneye says with a big, goofy, happy smile.

Looking back at the lady attached to the balloon, he calls, "Ye can have the thing for alls i care. I'm more suited to a good march than pretendn' to be a birdie. Though wuneye be my name i still gots two good uns! back when i was still alive as it were, i only had one eye from a challenge. died a honorable death on some battlefield, only to get reanimated all poor like."

Looking at the sprightly lady near him, "Are you a sparky too ma'am?" the distrust in his voice battled with the sliver of hope in his eyes.

(wuneye is dumb, his voice is kinda like a jager, but with more tolerable syntax(?) he may get better at talking as he gets taught/learns from hearing)

( darn..I thought perhaps it was a hot-air balloon..that one could kind of actually fly. ah well)

"That would be wonderful Captain! " She grinned and turned to the odd giant man,
"and thank you Mr.Wuneye. I'm sure we can find a use of some sort for it."

Alexandria looked carefully over the side of the board as they made their way through the sky back towards the Khaos. Hundreds of feet of open air stretched beneath her and the ocean(?) below.

It wasn't as horrible as she thought it was at first, Alexandria found herself thinking. In truth, she realized, it was more a fear of falling than actually being up high. But she knew that the board was strong; the captain wouldn't have let them come out here if they weren't.

Martha looked at the sky. "Not as perfect as me, but still pleasant-looking. It would be a nice place to build an opera airship. Everybody would want to see how talentful I am... Wait! What is that red spot?"
