Inhaling the crisp air Tenma was still trying to shake the idea that something was missing, that a part of her was not there. Gently laying a few extra scraps of hair behind her ear Tenma prepared herself for another try. She closed her eyes, but she was going about things differently this time around. Before beginning her sequence of handseals Tenma searched for her chakra and attempted to get ahold of it. If she could find it then she would will it towards her hands and begin her sequencing after.
Unfortunately, her attempts to will her chakra towards her hands were in vain. Though she was able to motivate a few trickling streams of chakra Tenma seemed incapable of getting enough chakra there again. With a sigh she completed her handseals in order to make sure she never messsed up on those, though at this rate she could do this sequence in her sleep.

Focusing on her meditative breathing Tenma decided it was time to give it another go. How would this one turn out? She couldn't even make an educated guess at this point. As her eyes closed she searched for the chakra flowing through her body. As she searched she found a vein, no, it was too large to be a vein. An artery maybe? Were there chakra arteries? Oh well, she found it and that was all that mattered. Following the vein she found a point at which she could redirect the chakra towards her hands, and that is exactly what she did.
As the chakra began flooding her hands Tenma began her handseals, which went swimmingly. As the chakra built up Tenma was finding it difficult to contain it. Quickly as she could, Tenma finished her handseals and released the chakra to its own accord within her body. Her breathing had become deeper with the sudden exhilaration of energy in her body. And for the second time she felt the tingling in her hands that was left behind by the surging energy.

As she had before Tenma began with meditative breaths and closing her eyes. Searching through her body she came upon her 'chakra artery' for a second time. With a slight smile she began moving the chakra towards her hand, but this time in a more monitored fashion. Now that she had this source she decided it was time to control her chakra more that before. She moved enough chakra to her hands to give her that powerful tingling sensation as she went through her handseals, but this time it didn't feel like she was going to lose control. After finishing her seals Tenma let the chakra go back into the flow of her body with yet another passed attempt under her belt.

As she had the times before Tenma closed her eyes and began with her meditative breathing. Searching her body for a different source she decided to work in reverse; she found the veins in her hands and worked backwards from there, following random paths until she found a substancial chakra flow. After finding this area she started pulling the chakra towards her hands that were now flying through their seals. There it was again, the tingling sensation that let Tenma know she had enough chakra there. Taking a deep breath she let the seals and the chakra go in yet another personal victory.

Alright, time for her next attempt. Since she had found two different main places to draw chakra from Tenma decided to look for a third, that would assist in keeping her options open. Again the sounds of birds was filling the air as Tenma let her mind rest for a moment. THe song was calming, almost too much so. Before drifting into relaxation Tenma straightened herself and prepared herself for another try.
Because it had proven to be successful before, Tenma closed her eyes and began breathing in the same meditative way as she had during her earlier attempts. Using her method from the previous trial, she began looking in her hands and worked her way backwards. This time, however, she didn't find a stream of chakra that was substancial for the jutsu. Quickly run through the handseals, for the sake of practice, Tenma released her energy in order to re-focus herself for another attempt.

Her hands rest limply as she searched the crossing and shifting rivers of chakra that flodded her body. Surely there must be another pool of energy stored away. Her mind followed the steady flow in search of this 'pool' of energy. There, that must be it. Tenma felt the search of energy as she found another resource and willed it towards her hands. Quickly running through her handseals she released the energy back into her body. One down, one to go.

As the young Nara watched the small girl complete her training on the first half of the Bunshin no Jutsu, he began to get antsy for training himself. Realising that Conan could be a little while before he was able to get Moku to help them, Rhaim decided to begin his work on the Kawamiri no Justu. The concept was simple enough to him, just trade places with another nearby object to escape an opponent. With his course syllabus laid out before him the young lad began to read up on how to perform the jutsu. Once he thought that he had it down he decided that it would be best to just get right to work. He closed his eyes and took several deep breaths as he mentally prepared himself for the task. After he was ready in his mind he reached into his kunai holster and tossed a kunai in the ground nearby. He would use that as the object he would trade places with for the sake of the training.

Rhaim was absolutely astonished to see just how quickly his replacement with the kunai had taken place. Though his eyes were still held in a squint he mentally felt as if he should let his eyes go completely wide from how amazed he was. He took the short walk over to where he was once standing and where the kunai was now resting. The young boy walked around the blade several times rather pleased with the fact that he had done so well on his first attempt. He had figured that there was no way that he would be able to do something such as that without alot of warm ups and practices. Without so much as a smirk or a nod Rhaim walked back away from the kunai and closed his eyes. This however was not to drown out distractions so much as it was to see if he could perform the technique without seeing the kunai.

When Rhaim opened his eyes he took a few moments to realise that he had in fact failed and did not replace himself with the kunai, but had rather stayed completely still. The kunai however had fallen over, though the boy attributed that to a sudden blow of the wind. He slowly walked over to the small weapon and picked it back up before returning to his position. Once again the boy closed his eyes to try and perform the technique without the ability to see the kunai. This time however he took extra special care into visualizing exacting where the kunai was from him as of before he shut his eyes. Though he knew that there was no way to perform the technique without something around, he did also know that sometimes he would have to perform the technique with only a moment to find something in his surroundings.

Upon opening his eyes again Rhaim found that for the second time in a row he had failed to conduct the tchnique that he somehow pulled off on his first try. As he came to that realization rather quickly, the young Nara boy figured that he must simply no be ready to do the jutsu with his eyes closed. Rhaim stared at the kunai across from him for a long moment before cracking his neck to signify that he would be trying to do the technique again. He knew that he needed this technique as well, to be able to pass the academy exam. Thus it would be absolutely needed for him to get this jutsu down before he went off to do other training. And so the young Nara too up a stare with the kunai as he tried the technique yet again.

For the third time in a row Rhaim found himself in the exact same place that he started in, rather than being across from where he was standing. Though he knew that it was completely impossible, he wanted to point a finger at the kunai and begin blaming it for his difficulties. However the fact of the matter was that he had never done training for this technique before, therefore it would take an exceptional amount of time before he got the hang of it. He knew that his first success had been a mild fluke and that once he was able to understand better how he had accomplished the task the first time he would have no problems replicating it. Before too long the young Nara had come to terms with his situation and was ready to begin trying it again.

Once again Rhaim looked out from the same position at the same kunai that had not in any way traded places with him. With a slight sigh the young lad lowered his head and tried to relax his mind to focus on some aspect of the training that he was obviously getting wrong. He wondered if perhaps his body position was wrong, but then realised that the technique is often done by many ninja in many different situations. Unfortuneately this understanding only made Rhaim see just how simple of a task that this should be and how bad he was failing it at the moment. He would not however beat himself up too badly for that since he could count on his sisters to do that for him. With a nod of the head he brought his gaze back up to the kunai across from him and began focusing on trading places with it.

As Rhaim looked out at the kunai he nearly fell into a fit of rage at his inability to understand how to conduct the technique. However that emotional outbreak was settled by the fact that he soon realised that he had in fact been successful. With a small bit of mixed shock and pleasure, the young Nara thought back to what he had been doing and thinking as he attempted the technique last. When he felt truly confident that he could perform the jutsu with his eyes open in at least this controlled enivroment, he set out to once again do it with his eyes closed. First however he had to take very special and careful note of where the kunai was, since he wasn't at the level where his mind could remember it in only and instant. With a deep breath Rhaim shut his eyes and began trying to replicate what he had just done twice now.

Rhaim could finally feel himself getting the full understanding of the jutsu, rather than just seeing or reading about it. Though he wasn't completely competent with the use of it just yet, the young Nara was definately maintaining a much higher grasp on the technique than before. Since he had proven that he could do the technique while looking at his target object and while his eyes were closed, he decided that the final challenge to prove that he understood the jutsu was to conduct it while facing away from his target object. Thus Rhaim turned his back on the kunai that he had again traded places with. Now not only did he need to apply everything from his first three successes, but he also had to figure out how to properly manipulate his body to get and replace the kunai behind him. With another crack of the neck the young lad knew that at least he was mentally prepared to try the technique.

Having finally finished the Kawamiri no Jutsu training the young Nara opened up his course scroll to check for any more assignments that he needed to complete other than the rope escape technique. He nodded as he noted that that was the only training he had to complete for graduation requirements. Since he still had some time until Conan would be ready with Moku, Rhaim decided to try and teach himself how to walk up trees. He had seen plenty of other shinobi perform this basic act, to include his sisters quite often. He was certain that the more things he could learn before the day was through and the exam conducted, the better his chances for graduating regardless of how much stronger the Uchiha was than him.
Rhaim approached a tree about twenty meters tall and blinked at it in approval. He took a deep breath and focused his chakra to his feet and began to slowly apply them to the tree and walk upwards.
