Again, Jase wanted to turn around but he wouldn't let himself. "Oh..no, you don't have to. This is who you were visiting. I shouldn't be over here..." Though, technically, he shouldn't be alive either but he wasn't about to say that. "Was he...a friend or something?"

"He was my... my fiancee." Claudia wiped a single tear from her cheek. This was the first time she had spoken about Louis to anyone in a long time.

Jase heard the sadness in her voice which caused him to glance at her. He had never been engaged, or even in love, so he didn't know how she felt. But he imagined it was very hard for her. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to cause you sadness."

"It's only natural," he replied softly as he looked at her, not fully turned around. She must have really loved him. "How...did he pass away?" Grave stones couldn't tell all but he wanted to help her out and maybe if she shared, it would help.

In a very quiet voice Claudia told the boy of Louis' death. "He...He was in a car accident. His car was hit by another car. The other driver was so drunk he couldn't even see straight. They said he didn't suffer, that he.... died instantly. It's been over a year, but sometimes it feels like yesterday." She turned quickly away from the boy. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be shoving all of this onto you."

Miss Seraph Miss Seraph Autumn Cytheria squealed with glee as Rei responded and pounced on him, smothering him with kisses.
((Ugh, sorry. I do that sometimes u.u;; )) Rei let out a surprised little noise as he toppled back into the grass and leaves, blushing faintly as Cytheria kissed over him. A-anou...I can't breath, 'Ther...He laughed softly and pulled her off him some, enough for him to sit back up and look to her before sort of nodding, a faint grin on his lips to indicate to her that she could continue with her sprinklings of kisses.

Cytheria giggled and sighed with relief as she cuddled into his chest. "I really did miss you Rei..!", she said nuzzling him with a long yawn. Cytheria kissed him on his neck gently a few times before moving to look into his golden eyes, her fingers through his hair.

He blushed softly still as he looked to her, and offered a shy smile before tipping her chin up to meet her lips gently. I missed you too, he admitted, his voice soft, his eyes unblinking as he looked to her, the only true way to know he's not fibbing being this little gesture.

"You have nothing to be sorry about. Curiosity is only natural." Claudia turned around and got her first close up look of the boy. "Wha-" she had been about to ask what are you, but then thought better of it. Hadn't this boy just been very kind to her, especially considering he was perfect stranger. She realized she had taken a step back and made herself move back to her original position. "Who are you?" she said, not quite looking at his face.

Though Jase hadn't heard that question before know, he knew it would come. It was his fault for turning around. It was now that he was glad his eyes, or eye rather, didn't show. "I am Jase Ballentyne," he replied with a weak smile. "As to what I am...well...you can find my grave over there," he said to her, pointing to the large tombstone he'd been standing over. "But you'd now find it empty..."

Jase frowned. He had been afraid of this, among other reactions. "I...well..no, it's not a joke," he said nervously, moving back a little from her. "You can go see the stone for yourself..." But he could understand her reaction. He certainly didn't look fresh and breathing. Carrying an axe didn't help either, he was sure.

Claudia stared at him for a moment, not completely taking in what he was saying. She slowly made her way to the stone he had indicated. "Jase Ballentyne" was etched there, just like he said it would be. She took a step back. "No, that's not possible. It... it just can't... there's no way..." Finally the shock overtook her and she fainted.
