Oomizu saw Jack and Kikyo and almost burst into tears as she scrambled out and ran over to them, nearly tackling her mother before huggin Jack. "Mom! Uncle Jack! Thank goodness!"
Kikyo nearly fell as Oomizu hugged her, but recomposed herself enough to give Oomizu a quick hug before she ran over to Jack. "Inuyasha... Are you sure? Link had been taking a nap on the ship before the attack. Surely he woke up durring all of the alarms and announcements..."
Pirogoeth had a small trickle of blood starting from her forehead from hitting her head in the landing, but she showed no sign of pain. "I'm fine."
Ed took Gear's hand and helped him out. "Alright. I see Marta near by. She'll heal you."

Luffy noticed the blood and licked his finger then wiped it off. "If you say so." He said smiling.

Inuyasha nodded "yea i dont smell him, but maybe its just cause of all the smoke or something im sure we will find him once everyone is back together"

"Heya, hun," Jack replied, giving Oomizu a hug back. "And still no one asks about the blue face..." he silently pondered.
"Thanks... I hope so..." Gear replied, forcing himself to move. "'Cause this really sucks..."
"Hey... I don't mean to be a downer, or anythin', but it doesn't really look like there are any other pods or stuff showin' up," Hotstreak announced to anyone in general. "So anyone who's not here now, probably won't be."

Deidara dropped down from the trees and smirked to Hotstreak. "You were saying, hmm? There are other ways out besides those little metal cages, hmm."
Ed nodded before whistling and waving in Emil and Marta's direction. "Hey! We need you to come here a moment!"
Marta looked over to Ed and Gear quickly and stopped about a foot away. "What's wrong?"
Oomizu nodded into Jack's chest. "I was so scared something would happen to you guys." She looked up, a few tear spots that hadn't been there previously on Jack's shirt. "Where's Dad?"
Kikyo bit her lip and gently took Alex from Inuyasha. "I'm sure you're right. He'll be here..." She kept her composure together and looked around once more, hugging Alex lightly.

Emil looked around "Tenebre can you scan around and see if there is anyone else near by?" he said as he heard the concern of Oomizu near by
"Lord Emil... everyone is accounted for there is no signs of life anywhere else beyond this area" he informed

"B-broken ribs..." Gear replied, moving to sit (if not lay) down.
Hearing Emil and Tenebre, Jack frowned, then knelt down to hug Oomizu tighter. "I don't know where he is..." he answered, truthfully.
"I said 'probably'," Hotstreak reminded, with a smirk.

Marta nodded and preformed her healing arts on Gear to help heal his ribs.
Oomizu was quiet for long moment before bursting shaking and grabbing onto Jack, hugging him tightly and crying harder than she could remember having done so before.
Kikyo, for the first time in who knows how long, even began to softly sob, holding onto Alex as though afraid that letting go of him would make him disapear.
Ed heard the news and quietly said to himself "I wonder if I would have reacted that way if I had been that close to my father and heard the same thing..."
Deidara rolled his eyes, clearly not going to take part in the scene going on around him.
Pirogoeth allowed Luffy to wipe the blood away, even though she had not noticed it. "Are you alright, Luffy? I had not brought your men along..."
Starfire was also quiet, looking down and holding her stomach as though she'd be sick.

Inuyasha sighed "There is a town near by i smell it.... we should all keep moving "
Minato saw Oomizu crying and looked down to the floor he know how much it hurts to lose a parent, he had lost both he looked over to Etna "This sucks..." was all he said.
a soft rumbling shifted the earth
"Lord Emil there is a strong presence near by " Tenebrae informed

Jack lifted Oomizu up, and walked over to the woman who, almost since he met her, he considered his older sister. "Kikyo-Oneii..." he softly called, offering a hug and shoulder to cry on. Now, he was upset himself; after all, he liked Link. The man had tried to look out for him, and had even given him his first sword. It was just, the people he cared about always had to be strong for him... This was finally his turn to be strong for at least two of them.
"Thanks..." Gear practically sighed. "Wow, it's feeling better already..." he realized, grinning slightly under his mask. "Hey..." he began, his smile slipping. "Did the captain ever get out...?"
Etna shifted where she stood, trying not to pay attention to the fact that people around her were feeling the sting of loss... And trying to ignore the fact that Laharl was still missing... "Yeah..." she replied.
Hotstreak headed over to a tree to lean against. Damn, and he was just starting to get used to seeing some of those faces...
Kain gripped the Soul Reaver, not having missed the rumbling of the ground. They were persistent, weren't they...?

a hoard of demons approched the group however one of them was different from the others
"that one... look out for her " Tenebrae said "That is a shard of the sword" Inuyasha growled

Kikyo hugged Jack, trying to calm herself down some as she wiped the tears out of her eyes. "Thank you, Jack..." She lightly kissed his cheek before kneeling down to Oomizu and passing Alex off to her. "Watch your brother, alright? Don't let anything happen to him."
Oomizu wiped tears out of her eyes using the back of her arm and nodded. "Be careful..." She looked around and found a spot that looked safe enough. She quickly hugged Alex tightly for a second before running over with him. "I'll protect you, little brother. Big sister promises that nothing will get you."
Starfire looked up, a few tears in her eyes as she growled slightly in fustration at the demons now charging at them.
Ed looked up and sighed. "Don't look now, but here comes a buncha big, bad, and uglies." He shook his head lightly. "Who ever is doing all this must really not want us to continue on. Betcha they're paying some real good money, too."
Pirogoeth was unphased. This was her element. She could fight demons, monsters, and zombies with ease since she dealt with them on a constant back home.
Deidara groaned in annoyance. "You guys seem to be more heartless than half the guys I work with back home, hmm. You even make Hidan look like a saint, hmm."

The demons rushed at the group as they bared all, ready to claw at the group they closed in for the kill. and spread out the main one seemed to keep its distance and watch the battle from above
