Quite simply, the US is quite horrible in futbol...
We just don't have the background in the sport as the other countries, who BREATHE the sport...
US is more a futbol americano nation...

From what I've heard, Soccer isn't very popular over there apart from amongst uber-fit teenagers in high school.

I dunno, American's are just...stupid if you ask me.
from what I've seen, futbol is the ONLY world sport the country plays... and not very well...
I doubt other countries have basket ball, baseball or futbol americano...
But pretty much EVERY country has a futbol team.

I swear by my pretty floral bonnet...@Sunny: I just got called about an hour ago, invited to go. C: We're going to a lake to picnic. Maybe wade in the water a bit, play frisbee. Maybe play video games afterwards.

Also, I only knew about the world cup because of the radio yesterday. I generally don't follow sports.
Except hockey. Oh lawd. I'm such a stereotypical Canadian. I say sorry a lot, I say eh, and I love hockey FAR TOO MUCH to be healthy. <3 ...I will end you.
