Rollign his eyes, Focht creates a Wall of Air under his own feet, about 5 feet in diameter.
"Hey Shadow.... how many times do I have to show you that your earth magic and my magic cancel out?"
Focht's hands start to glow a strange ice blue colored, slowly it spreads up his Grand Klaive.

9 shook her head to Tyrsais words

Shadow yawned widely and black wings burst from his back. As they appeared his power intensified as special resevoirs were tapped. He decided that a distraction was needed and held out a hand at Relinth. A dozen souls flowed into his hand and he said softly. Hey Heswina, want to stop hearing the orc's voices? As he spoke the souls were burned and a white hot energy began to fill his hand. He held it in a ball and began opening his fingers. At the last moment however he moved his arm to point at Heswina and a strong blast of light energy shot towards her. As each soul was burned the corresponding voices in Heswina's head would scream in pain before being snuffed out.
He then dropped his quarterstaff into a guard position as he prepared more souls to burn. He said as he awaited the next attack. You feel the souls screaming 9? The same as those of Enid before you consumed and destroyed them. He chuckled darkly as he stretched.

::Matsuo watched the fighting with a slightly disintreseted eye. She walked over to 9 was and drew forth Dark Matter, ready to protect her at any cost. She looked back at 9 and then quickly returned her concentration back to the fighting::

*Relinth began to charge at Shadow pushing all of his energy into getting up speed, and slide the last few inches towards his opponent till he was just in range with his weapon, and stepped away from his current path to the side, and forward spinning down slightly bringing the naginata in under his armpit it flew out from his body with ungodly haste. His whole movement snapped it out towards Shadows ribcage under his outstreched arm. As he did so, he reached out looking to grab the weapon with his free hand as it continued through its motion spinning up now slightly looking to hit Shadow in the face with the blunt end of the weapon, and end up behind him with the naginata blade at the ground level*
((Edited, and you are correct Shadow a slight misread on my part))

((Well Dark Matter is based off of a theory of Chaos, which is to say that when light hits a black hole the light is then sucked within the dimensional rift. So what the blade does it feed off of other energies around it to support its magical properties. But there is a substantial amount of dark energy eithin the hilt of the blade, giving a small amount of energy when needed to me, for healing and such... wow this is long... sweatdrop ))

::Tyrsais begins to encircle Shadow planning out what would be the best way to destroy his opponent. Studing his every move. 9 was in peril either way, and he could do little to protect her, it would be better to remove the threat::

((No worries Matsuo. I was just asking because Shadow can sense and absorb dark energy so if it were the same I would need to factor in his instinctive reaction to it.))

Focht steps in the way of the blast, holding up his Grand Klaive so the blast struck the flat of the blade. His free hand was 3/4 the length of the blade holding it against the force of the beam as it hit, pressing the blade back toward him. Smiling at Shadow, the energy slowly seems to be draining into Focht in a whispy tendrel as he extended his arms pushing the blast back alittle. Although the blast was feeding Focht's power, it seemed to be hurting him at the same time. The blast slowly started to push him back toward Heswina, he grits his teeth and leans into the blast trying to slow it and weaken it as much as possible.
(ty for letting me take the blast for you Heswina, I need to go soon))

Shadow's eyes moved slightly to the side as Kogashi attacked. It was too late to just move so he chuckled and as Kogashi began biting into his wing he flapped it hard using it as a shield from Relinth's attack and hopefully throwing kogashi into the rest of Relinth's attack as the wing was torn free and he shot backwards rapidly sending a wave of wooden spears from his quarterstaff towards Tyrsais as he did. He reabsorbed the wings as he moved to stop the bleeding. It was one thing not to feel it but another to bleed to death from it.
