User Image She smirked at his comment, quite proud of the little thing that he could turn around and throw her words back at her as well - for she had never met one so quite like herself. She knew, though, that if she let that be the end of their little argument, that his arrogance would grow even more so than it already had. She couldn't let his head get too big for his weak body to hold up, now could she? "No doubt, that must be what binds you here, hm?" Her eyes twinkled, those sapphire pools swirling against the high noon sun. "For if you were not scum, you would not be in such a place, and would just simply leave like every other being with half a mind," though, she hardly believed this place was a dump - not if the great Mufasa called it home.

Why was she still talking? His fur bristled. He raised a brow, but he was not looking at her anymore. "Oh yes, you are so amazingly right." He said, apparently he was beginning to learn sarcasum. Yay. He turned slowly and spat, at the ground near to her. "I was born here, girl." Ah, it was okay for him not to use others names and give them 'nicknames', though girl wasnt much of one, but not for them to do the same to he? "I'm stuck here until mother deems it fit Im allowed to leave." Or whenever his twin said that time was. Truth be told.. he was scared he'd die out there. It was a lot safer here, scumridden or not.

User ImageShe smirked and quirked a brow at him, head tilting. THe spitting amused her, none the less, but she wouldn't laugh - should he dare spit closer next time. "Is that a rule?" the concept of rules actually made her laugh, since her parents had never put down one for her and her siblings. She found the rogue life to seem much easier than that of a pack-bound lion. She couldn't imagine growing up in the pridelands with expectations of her. She smirked and stood, slowly slinking in a wide circle around him. "Why don't you just leave, Uumikaji? Rules are ridiculous. If you plan to leave anyway, what difference does it make when you do it?" Was he ever really planning to leave at all? She didn't know, nor did she care, she just wanted to see how far she could push the little prince.

Pacing along the border, an orange adolescent male watched the Pridelands. His adoptive mother was there... And his little sibblings from her. He could smell her scent on the wind from there. Furrowing his brow, he paused, then took the plunge and crossed the border, going at a steady, hard pace, wanting to reach Pride Rock, find Bakhti, find Mufasa to ask him his questions... Lemon-yellow-toed paws left prints on the ground where there were none, prints over paths where there WERE pawprints. Slowing a bit, the black-haired adolescent flicked his ears toward the sound of voices. Small voices...

He was fully fluffy now, he'd tried to puff himself up to seem bigger. Actually Syeira was probably bigger than him, if just. "Well.. well." He was searching for something to retort. "Why would I go now? I have it made here. What's out there? I'd starve..." That seemed an alright excuse, but she'd probably throw some good insult back into his face. His tail flicked, he did not notice Danzi coming closer. Just what he needed, more rogues. He didn't know Bakhti, and especially didn't know she had an adopted son.

User ImageMchele Looked over to his siter when she called out. "Rocky?" He looked at her puzzled, who or what was Rocky? But turning his head to look back at the progress of the two red cubs, he noticed one had changed direction. "Why'd you do that Kib? Look, it's moving away."

User ImageShe smirked and quirked a brow at him, her tail wavering behind her so slowly, so smoothly, it wasn't hard to imagine it was a serpant of some sort. Some muddy toned cobra, with a pinstripe marching down it's slinky spine. Those swirling blue optics landed on him, suddenly so cold, but yet - her facial features represented none of this heartless emotion. Her pretty face, as always, was unbiased, calm, relaxed, "of course you would starve out there, you're used to your mommy bringing you food. Heaven forbid you had to do get it on your own." That was why her eyes were cold, of course, because he had once again put himself back into the spotlight, that place where he was the perfect example of a spoiled brat. She was not spoiled, no, because even if she did manipulate her father into thinking she was a princess - he still taught her how to hunt. She knew how to get her own meal, she knew she could survive off of small game if necessary. Did Syeira think she was better than the pridelander prince? By all means, yes.

Snarling, Kitwana turned away.
"They're all the same," he growled, before stalking away, leaving Dama to her delusions.

He would go beyond the reach of any of these barbarians. He would go where they would not find him again.

User ImageA purr rumbled from his throat as Bakhti came forth to greet them, eyes closed and smile curvng his maw as he drew in her familiar scent. This was the true feeling of being home. However as the golden pridelander began to speak to Panya his eyes widened in shock as the words sank in. He didn't even know the identity of his sister's mate, let alone that she had been pregnant and given birth.

He was in shock, there was no doubt about it.

"Y-you have cubs? F-family?" His jaw swung open as if on a hinge, and his legs gave way forcing him to sit down, his tail moving to encircle the space where Panya was. Drawing the needed comfort from the small cub he had grown increasingly fond of he glanced once more at his sister.

"How...when...who?" His heart shuddered as he realised what a big part of her life he had missed out on. However swallowing back the shock he turned to gaze kindly at Panya.

"Yes, I think it would be good to be with others your own age." Once again he was stung with a pain of wanting a family of his own. It was something he didn't want to miss out with, especially when he knew Maawio would make a wonderful mother.

Then as if by magic she appeared. Her golden form brighter and more stunning than the sun itself. She moved with a lady-like grace, held herself with complete decorum. She was the only lioness for him.

He prepared himself as she came dashing over to meet him and nuzzled her with great affection, only pausing to glance at the cub once more. "You two, I'd like you to meet Panya. Panya, this is Bakhti my sister and Maawio..." He glanced into blue eyes and felt himself drowning. "...My mate and true friend."

Nothing could be more perfect than this.

User ImageHey now! Where was Rocky going? She pouted and sat back down on her rump, glaring at the fiery cub with annoyance. Why did she even bother! Here she was greeting him and he just turned round and went to boss around another poor cub.

As her brother spoke up she turned to him and lowered herself in a playful bow, tail waving in the air. "Cos Rocky is name for him." She said with a smile, trying to pounce on her brother once more but pausing just in time to reach up and try to bat at his ears. "Not my fault if he scared of Kib." She said with a chuckle, pausing to glance at the new cub that Rocky was talking to.

She didn't seem very nice. In fatc she was downright mean. She huffed, fur fluffing up a little at the sight of them. She should show that trespasser a thing or two...but...she was a little afraid.

Bakhti laughed at Amari's reaction. She then remembered he knew nothing of them. "Yes I have a family. Two cubs, Mchele and Kiburi. My mate is Mahiri." She had a wide smile on her face that only widened more when she saw Maawio. "MAAWIO!" She nearly yelled when she saw the golden lioness and ran over to her and nuzzled her before trotting back to Amari. She was eager to show both Amari his little cub friend and Maawio her family. This was her idea of perfection, her brother, her sister-in-law and her own family all on the same lands.

She however suddenly turned to Amari wide-eyed, "Your not going anywhere are you? You staying here this time?" She watched him hoping that this time he would stay and be an uncle to her children. Her family was together at last and she didn't want them to seperate again though she knew she couldn't make Amari stay but Maawio could.

User ImageAs Amari's tail curls around her, she nuzzles into his side. She could tell that he is in need of comfort as much as she did. She was growing more and more nervous at all the new lions coming over towards them. Though she could tell that Amari knew them, she didnt so it made her nervous. Looking up at the golden female, she cocked her head slightly. so was this the female he had mentioned before? It must be.

((X3 gone for the weekend, and I have uber catching up to do...))

Sarabi's eyes were heavy and she yawned widely, displaying her still-sharp fangs. She settled back on the warm rock and drowzed lightly. Even the little activity of this morning was too much for her, and a nap was most welcome.

Kiuma stared at the cubs, her hackles rising comicly along her short spine. When she turned to see if her brother had caught up, so he could provide back up, she was astonished to see that he wasn't. She'd been up here for quite a while, and even he should have caught up by now... Completely forgetting the new cubs with the worry for her twin, she turned with a patter of small paws and raced back the way she had come. When light red eyes lit on a strange cub near her twin, she snarled in anger, her hackles rising for real this time. Anyone who approached her twin without her knowledge was automatically and enemy, and would be treated as such.

With her tiny roar of outrage, she jumped and landed with a little thump on all four paws at her brothers side. She bared her little fangs in a fierce snarl, her claws out and scraping the stone. 'Course, this didn't help her footing any...

User ImageMchele let out a surprised mewl as Kib made a leap for him and her paws tried to catch his ears. He flicked them back and forth and danced out of the way and around her, looking for a clear spot to pounce. "Oi! Bet Rocky knew he wasn't safe wid you! Hey, that's my ear!"

However movement closer by got the little dusty-coloured cub's attention and his head snapped round to see what it was. .... A fluffed up female cub nearby seemed to be eyeing him and Kib up. Well that made him fold his ears back instantly and he froze, watching her and waiting. But she didn't come closer, instead he headed back towards where the other red cub, dubbed Rocky, had gone.

Wandering up beside his sister once more, he looked down at the three other cubs and then over at Kiburi. "Wanna go see? We don't have to go close though." Sure he was curious and these were supposed to be other members of this pride thing. They could at least go see what was going on, but from the stance of the second red cub, he didn't want to get involved.

Drawing nearer to the voices, Danzi slowed his pace, not wanting to startle anyone. The last thing he wanted to do was make a bad impression, after all! Crawling along the ground, he peeked through the grass a bit where it allowed him to naturally, spying two red cubs and a brown one. The brown one smelled a tad like Asi, when he thought about it.. She was even the same color, actually. He settled down, not wanting to kick up too much dust onto his coat that he'd taken great pains to clean up and get gleaming and fresh, anything to make good impressions. For a moment, he pondered if one of the other two cubs was the heir or heiress to the throne.
