"Time's a funny thing, Tru-man. A minute to you can be an eternity to me, which I may step into and out of as I please. The soul's decay you have put in your venom will not act at the pace you wish, and can be manipulated while in its somewhat suspended state. Regardless, I fear that our time, pun intended, is up. I'd like to thank you for your hospitality all. Adieu!" Erudemasa said, before leaping into the air and into the black puddle on the floor. When he entered the shallow water, no ripples spread along the surface. A puddle that ought not to have beenIt stayed there, shifting images still set on its surface. In five minutes, it would evaporate into nothingness.

((OOC Note: If anyone tries to go into that portal, they end up at some random location in about a week's time. After five minutes have passed, the water disappears without leaving any trace of itself, even if it was removed from the rest of the puddle))

Once in the stream of time, Eru took the time to respond to Old D. "Well, Old man, I don't remember really letting you have a say in this, but I'll get the stenographer to put your notes on record."

After dealing with the petulant spirit, Erudemasa turned his attention to his shoulder...well, not really 'angel' and 'devil' so much as 'being' and 'other being.' "Trip, Pleasure, you two still with me? This ought to be an interesting conversation we're about to head into."

Erudemasa landed gracefully on his feet in a completely new environment... ((Taken to Universal Location thread))

Enraged, Truinthil screamed and thrashed his arms wildly. Anyone near him would be wise to back away before being struck by his deadly sword. I will kill that little b*****d. I will. was all the Clone said before leaping into a shadow, his presence almost immidiately leaving the Mansion entirely.

((Hooray forgetfulness.))

Though it was not an effect to speed or reduce the flow of time in the area, the strange 'puddle' Eru had created and left through was noticed by Genesis, both the man and the sphere. Tracking them would take too long, and not knowing where it was headed would be entirely too risky. Such ironies existed within the flow of time and the duality of that which was named Genesis. He'd leave it all until later, after he got fixed up and after he could make sense of what had happened. He'd keep himself out of the way while Genesis locked onto his time-space coordinates to remove him from the timeline.

Just what had he been invited to and what had transpired in the Mansion?

He'd have to have the scans compiled and review the events in simulation.

Endeavors at the Mansion had come to a still, many of the entities in question had seemingly vanished. There was the lingering presence of Xol, but a matter surely to be dealt with by another. As it stood, an assesment of a nearby facility required the attention of the spear-wielding KB bot. Rising to its feet, the rounded gold-rimmed spectacles befell the horizon, the bot nodding to itself before simply launching itself into the air. It seemed to fly by sheer will alone, the air about it trembling and shifting as if displaced by supersonic force as it rapidly ascended, posed like some rocketeer. The Black Company's main facility was finnally operational, and as such required further investigation.

A soft muffled sob echoed through the halls, breaking the silence that was all too common in the mansion these days. Phia was absolutely crushed by her husbands death, there was no apparent way of getting him back now, his mind, body and spirit were all gone. There wasn't even old D around. She had no clue as to if Truinthil was even in exsistance any longer. Phia had been either obsessively burying her nose in all the books in the library had to offer or training. She was less of a zombie as was during the previous year but still utterly heart broken.

Aria sighed hearing her mother cry again and pulled her feet to her chest as she stared out the glass of her bay window as it was pelted by the heavy spring rain. She sighed, she hadn't seen Aethi in weeks now. Her door creaked open, her sky blue gaze flicked over, she couldnt help but be a bit disapointed at the intruder. It was neither her father not Aethi, but her little brother. He had grown to the age of three during his stay in New York with Joel. The small boy wandered over to her, his blanket clutched to his chest, CSK followed behind him. Aria sighed.

"Whats up honey?" She asked softly but as soon as the words fell from her lips the small child broke into tears.

"When's Daddy coming back?" He choked out, it made Aria's heart wrench. The little boy upon his arrival to the mansion knew, no one had to tell him. He went straight to the hallway where his father had passed on, touching the wall and floor then screamed. Aria winced at the memory then stepped from her perch at the window and scooped her little brother up. Kissing his forehead.

"Shh...Now Devy...Shh, Daddy Will be back soon, Ma will find away, I will too. I'm sure even sissy Aethi is out looking right now." This calmed the childs sobs but tears still fell from his brilliant mis-matched eyes. He nuzzled into her shoulder as she sighed, rubbing the little boy's back, looking down to her uncle in his cat form. "Right Erike?"

Stepping lightly into the room where Aria was with her brother, Aethi looked around. Her eyes looked a little bloodshot and there were dark bags of exhaustion under them. "Sorry for my absense, love. How're you holding up?" She tried to smile a bit, but it didnt last long.

"Well enough" She said softly. "Ma's taking it the hardest. Devan...well he's like me...empathic...its like having half your soul ripped from your body...it sucks." She kissed the boy's forehead again as he turned his face to Aethi, shimmying from Aria's arms and climbing up Aethi's body and into hers. Aria smiled a bit. He really did concider both of the girls his sisters but still fully understood the nature of their relationship. Aria sighed. "Love...you don't look well...where have you been?"

Wrapping her arms around Devon as he climbed up her, she smiled at the boy as warmly as she could. "Searching for the Clone with no luck. Drinking a bit. Not sleeping. Typical things really." She laughed slightly then shrugged as she sat down, still holding onto Devon.

She nodded and sighed, running a hand through her hair a bit.

"I hope we can find all of them soon, the clone, and your parents. I would think that they could help us somehow to get Dad back... well...maybe your Father will, I don't know about Athaele." Her Eyes studied Aethi and smiled with fatigue. "C'mon let's goto bed." Devon whimpered and looked to Aria. "Don't worry hun, you can stay in here, you'll sleep next to me ok? Let's get you some pj's ok?" The little boy nodded and shadow shifted, returning moments later.

Truinthil roamed through the halls in a daze. He hadnt been back since that day some time ago. He had removed himself from everything for a while. Now that he was back, however, he wasnt sure where to begin looking for those that took Draeken's soul or for the Clone. He had a few ideas for where the latter could be found though. Things were getting tumultuous in the world, that much he knew.

Athaele's body shimmered into existance, she too had shyed away from this place. It seemed so empty what with Phia more zombie than living. She was pathetic the way she moped around without D. Atha would have given anything to have children that actually loved her.

She spied Truinthil a few steps from her, she reached out to him, grasping his hand, she looked down as if that action supprised her. It did.

Truinthil jerked a bit at Athaele's touch against his hand, but smiling a bit he looked at her and nodded. "You surprised me. I wasnt paying attention to what was around myself." He grinned sheepishly and scratched the back of his head with his left hand while his right held onto Atha's hand. "How have you been lately?"

She smiled softly.

"I've been...lonely...this whole...thing...with D-draeken...Phia is entirely distraught, it's strange to feel her dispair...to fell her pain." She looked down to his hand, entwined with his. "And you? How have you been?"

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

There was blood trailing from her mouth, she could see the crimson against her ghostly pale skin she knew that much as she glanced her reflection in the mirror while passing by it. There was a faint sound of falling water coming from somewhere in the mansion though she cared not to look for it's source. She was more alive than the first time D had died but still, in griefe, it hurt physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally to not have him there. She didn't know how or why the blood was trailing from her mouth, she assumed it was from the large gash in her stomach from training, and yet she didn't remember recieving it. Griefe was a strange thing, like being numb to the world but not to ones own dispair, she functioned but it felt like when one was lacking sleep severly, they were fuzzy and numb. Phia suspected she needed sleep, she didn't remember the last time that had been, possibly when D was still alive. And there was eating something. She posessed a vague memory of Aria trying to feed her something.

Aria...and Devon her two beautiful children. She wondered about their presense, she opened her senses, Aria was in her room with Aethi and Devon. She shifted into the room, it was dark, the steady calm breathing was the only sound in the room, she walked to the bed, all three were asleep, she felt a tiny small pull the corners of her lips. They were beautiful. She reached out and brushed the silvery hair from Devon's small forehead, and froze, the color reminded her of D's, but of course this was his son, their son. Phia shivered a bit, he was gone and though she loved her children very much, they were a cruel reminder that they were their, but their father wasn't. Phia turned from the room and quickly left in the shadows, she left them not paying attention to where she came out, it was the front hall. She couldn't she was gasping for air, but being choked by sobs. Tears were at her eyes, she was panicing, he wasn't there, her husband, her lover, her everything wasn't there. She was having a panic attack, her lungs burned trying to get her breathe but she couldn't. He wasn't there. The griefe was building and so were the tears.

Xol appeared at the front door of D's Mansion. He rapped his knuckles heavily on the door, causing the material to buckle slightly. However much he despised D, Phia, oddly enough still had a place somewhere deep down in the depths of his heart. Just large enough to make him feel the minutest pang of guilt at her loss. Truinthil had to die, if not for what had transpired here so many months ago, then just because Xol wanted it done. The being had been 'alive' long enough. Perhaps Phia would be willing to go along with his current course of action.

He crossed his arms and waited.
