Jahoclave Lillian Ashe I may not be very active this month, real-life and all that jazz. Man, I want to see Chicago again; that movie rocked, or well, Jazzed. man, yeah, I love all the music from that!

Lillian Ashe It's my birthday. 3nodding And it still is, luckily enough. Happy Birthday. domokun My writing mojo's been brain dead for I don't know how long, and now I am finally spouting poetry that doesn't makes sense until I make it make sense, and then I wonder how in the world it ever made sense at all.

Since when does anything, poetry included, have to make sense in this day and age? At least, that's what I got off this past year of school.

Vote! Please. heart Also pay attention to the announcement in the booth that I've posted (thanks). And while I was doing the issue this go around, I thought, "It really is unfair that only I get to choose the pieces that go in. I mean, my judgement probably isn't always the best, and I've got preferences just like any other person. I think I'll ask the other staffies to put in a word for any of the pieces they would like to see in the issue in progress." So, staffies, if there ever should be a piece you favor and would like to see in the upcoming issue (not the May one though, that one's already booked), then please inform me either here, in the Draft thread, or by PM. Prepare for the Neighborhood Watch too, if you can. If not, I'll try my hand at it again. Rushifa, should you wish to make your usual contribtion, feel free to edit and add. Also, I think the Mounds could use a few more critiques. There are some pieces there that are deserving of some attention. *sigh* As if I'm not a bad enough editor, I'll be gone a lot this summer, but I'll try to keep up (I will). Last summer was really slow with submissions, but we've got a whole lot in storage this go around, and more of the regs are taking part in the submissions, thanks to our Beaters. I doubt we'll have anything to worry about. Except that our staff seems a bit empty again... *sigh* Why do they never stick? gonk Hm... EDIT: Apropos Krause Laverne Terres Prairie_FireSera15KobreckPrisma ColoredNavkanZoeidinaOnionHeartofGlass PiousCornEDIT 2: Here's a shocker. I updated the first post of the HQ.

Perhaps we need to do a job fair next month as well?
That, and if it is possible, we should probably change the part on the homepage that says to pm all that stuff to Alice.

Unfortunately, I'm under the strong impression that only alicemae can change the homepage. Unless you know something I don't.

Nice; Verne, Prisma, and Pious got in. RRR-pride which, by the way, is one of those reasons you probably oughtn't give my judgements too much weight. Just thought you might want to know, now that you mention the whole 'ask the other staffies' thing. Whoever does the Watch: you could try the Fanime thing, but that'll be over by the time this gets out. Still, since people keep complaining about it, the wheel, being in CA (I check the Q&A somethimes), you might want to explain that the wheel does move. 'Least, that's what one of the admins/mods said. Oh, and there was a recent thread mentioning a new Righteous Articles of Literacy thing? Didn't see anything else about that though. As for more neighborhood-ish news, Verne had a gender-swapping lovechild. I may be gone a lot this summer; mother's sending me off to summer school, me and my sister both, paying for us.

There are a couple of minor grammatical and spelling errors in the Draft; I can get them tomorrow, if you'd like. I did take the liberty of correcting the misspelling of alphabetical, though, with thepress access. I'll get to the Booth tomorrow as well; units are getting annoyed by my being on now, half past eleven, while they and my sister are watching a movie. I'm half-watching too.

I am not dead! Just thought I'd make sure everyone knew...I should have a column for this month, which should appear tomorrow at sometime. I have a few reviews written, just need to edit them and post them. And I will get to voting tomorrow.
In other news, by the end of next month it'll be summer for me, which means I'll be home and hopefully have more free time on my hands! yay!
