"..................Kage?" said Yamatano, standing there in shock. Coren was the new Kage. "......................Seriously?"
PostPosted: Wed Dec 23, 2009 1:05 pm

Coren and Kane slammed into the ground with considerable force.

After a couple second of collecting his breath, he stood and faced Yamatano,"Yep. Now quit gawking! You have training to do!", he then turned to face Kane, who was still coughing on the ground, "So does the Grass' newest Chuunin."

Kane glared up at Coren, "Chunin? But I didn't even compete in the exams."
PostPosted: Wed Dec 23, 2009 1:25 pm

Coren shrugged,"Well those exams were alittle wonky as far as I'm concerned. You fight as well as any Chuunin I've seen and easily better than any of the gennin in that exam." Coren then removed a pair of handcuffs from his back pocket, tossing one to Kane,"I think you remember doing this..." He disappeared for a moment, before appearing behind Yamatano, cuffing his hands behind his back, "Your going to love this." He walked away from them both, rolling into a few kicked as he spun about, his hands behind his back. He stopped on a dime before speaking,"Your going to learn the grass taijutsu, Yama. Ippin Seichuu Sanji: The Rare and Beautiful Art of a Controlled Disaster.

Coren demonstrated a few strikes before be spoke once more, "Begin!"

Academy
Stage1
Dakai Ichi
To properly learn this style the practitioner is forced to learn it the way it was made; while handcuffed. Normally during all of the spinning, constant movement, and acrobatic attacks the practitioner will want to flail out their arms in an attempt to balance themselves but with the handcuffs in place this becomes extremely difficult and very impractical so it forces the practitioner to learn how to balance themselves without their arms and hands. Not only does this require extreme precision and lots of practice it also demands a high amount of leg strength to perform properly but it is also because of these demands that the style itself becomes truly powerful.

Kane groaned as the cuffs were put on his hands, "I believe I should be working on stage four"
PostPosted: Wed Dec 23, 2009 1:46 pm

"Well now I want you working on attack while on the ground, we can all do the flashy aerial kicks, but you need to learn the dirty stuff that makes it fun!"

Coren rolled about the ground on his back, arms behind his back to shift his wight. His legs her straight as he built of speed and momentum for a strike, he pushed off with his hands, gliding towards a tree. He struck with the ball of his foot, cracking the tree with his strike. "There... do that. I want you to work on fluidity of the spinning movements as you use your sword in addition to your powerful kicks. They should fear your body as much as they fear your steel."

Coren cracked his spine, popping the bones down his back as he walked back to Kane, explaining his training.

Stage 4
Chuunin

Dakai Si
With the previous stages the practitioner has accumulated a lot of strength and power with his attacks which in turns creates the 'Disaster.' The disaster is when the practitioner has too much latent potential behind their attacks to control effectively. This stage focuses on controlling this disaster in order to make it less devastating to the practitioner and more much devastating to the opponent. The more the attacks are controlled the easier it is to go from one attack to the next fluidly

"Ah! Get these handcuffs off of me!" yelled Yamatano. He struggled against the cuffs bound behind his back. "What the heck does this have to do with training?!?"

(Oh we stopped caring about what that other person was doing because he was ruining our day)

Coren pulled a twig from the ground and smacked Yama on the back of his head. "Our style begins with learning to kick in the way I have shown you! At this point your hands will get in the way. Now... as I said; Begin!"

"Ow! Fine, Lord Kusakage." Grumbled Yamatano. He then tried moving, but lost his balance and fel. He kind of looked like a turtle on its back. "Oh," he thought to himself, "this is too much effort."

Finally he got himself back up again, now knowing that he had to rely on his center of gravity for balance, and that his hands would not be able to support him. He decided to try one of the kicks Coren had shown him. He readied, kicked..........and fell on his face.

After a little grumbling and swearing, Yamatano finally picked Himself up again. He decided to do a kick with less......effort, so as to avoid falling over. He got his center of gravity, and tried a small kick, only to stumble around. But luckily, he hadnt tripped! "Well, at least its a start." He thought to himself right before he tripped over a rock and fell again.

"Ok, forget this." said Yamatano. He then used the handcuffs to make a cut on his hands, made some handseals as best he could, and summoned a very small snake, barely older than a hatchling. "Hey buddy" he said to the snake, "Get me outta here will ya?" The snake nodded and slithered into the gear mechanisms, trying to break the gears to free Yamatano.
