Erm, I have a question that I already PMed to IceeWitch, but I'm assuming she's terribly busy with the mass sorting. It does, however, concern the mass sorting. Should I ask here, or wait for her to get around to me in her inbox? (I just want to make sure I get sorted before it's too late. I've worked really hard.)

If you want this, you'll have to show the Heads what you're made of. As Love said, you gotta earn it.
Where was it that you mentioned the Auction thing (For the guys??) My head is jumbled up right now and for me to get it clarified I neeed all the facts and stuff

How can you start a class if you got sorted not too ago and where do you get points and how?

Right now we are off Term. Classes and term starts on April. March was the month of mass sorting and mass guild clean up, so right now we're not so much focused on earning points.

There's a favor that I would like to ask the Mods and all the other... err... guild officials or whatever they're called. I don't think I'd be the only one to benefit from it.
Could you PLEASE not use the small font size when starting a thread or displaying a piece of information that's important for the members to read?
Especially not small font size combined with some barely legible color. I've seen members doing it, but I have no influence over them. They can do whatever they want. But if you're typing something that needs to get through to everyone, please use letters of normal size. Small font size is:
1) very hard to read;
2) tiring for the eyes and tiresome for the readers;
3) easy to neglect.
Please, consider it. I'm sorry if someone else asked you this before, but I really couldn't go through all 93 pages of thread to establish that.
I normally never read posts written with small size letters that are made by other members, but I force myself to do it when they're made by Mods. My head usually hurts after that, especially since Mods' introductions and rules are mostly pretty long. Thanks in advance.

One more thing - sorting hat thread. Post 2 says: In order to be eligible, you need to be a member for 3 weeks and make 30 posts. Post 4, on the very same page, says: In order to be eligible, you need to make 25 posts and be a member for one week. Which is true? Please, remove, edit or clarify one of those, in order to avoid confusion.

Can we start up new threads in the "Around Hogwarts" subforum? I wanted to start up a Diagon Alley thread for those of us that are about to be first years, but I thought I should double check that it was be ok before I did.

The Sorting Hat is actually doing a Mass Sorting right now. The Post 2 you are referring to is the original requirements to get sorted (Member for 3 weeks, 30 posts, etc...), but for the month of March, we are temporarily having members who have been here for 7 days and have 25 posts get sorted. I'll edit the thread title to clarify it a bit.

Thanks Love for the Heads Up! (I read my PMs just no time to answer them because I wanted to sort out the confusion here)
@Petrified: Your suggestion is a very reasonable one. I also like the way you didn't criticize it but offered another solution with supporting examples. I can't speak for everyone, but I can say that whenever a thread (imp) or announcement is made the font will be normal sized for you, and everyone else, to read easier. However when I'm posting around the guild I'll still use the small font because it's what I like most. It's just a preference (I do bold it and such to make it stand out for people to read). I'd hate to really inconvenience anyone so as of now (mods will be notified) announcements will no longer be in a font smaller than the normal size. (It'll kill me though lol.) However no threads will be re-edited for this, ie the Hour Glasses, Entrance Hall, and Sorting Hat.
Love addressed the other issue, and she's absolutely right. I didn't really clarify it during the announcements so luckily she did. I'll add a little note in the thread though. Glad to know you're reading!
@Scherknel: We're putting a hold on that until the mods get something else panned out (which they're doing now) We don't want to have thirty hundred threads though, so it may not get put in.

Thank you very much. I already have more than 30 posts, but I still haven't been a member for long enough (i.e. a week). lol After my first week ends, I'll post in the sorting thread.
@IceeWitch: Thank you. Of course, I never even thought that all threads should be edited. Everyone should have the freedom to post however they like. However, I really think that a piece of information that was intended to get through to everyone should be in the normal size. I'm glad you agree with me, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
@Miss Love Tantei: Thanks. Please, don't think that what I wrote was intended to offend anyone. It was nothing personal. It was just a thing I thought I should share with the rest of the guid.

^You have my permission to go ahead and post it. No sense waiting while we're trying to get everyone sorted anyway.
Would you be able to help with some PMs that have to be sent out to house-elves?? If so, PM IceeWitch. She'd love your help.
Lastly, the only time I really post is to make announcements. I'm not like Miss Love Tantei, IceeWitch, Junimaia, or any of the other mods (who post everywhere else in their font style of choice) so I can definitely upgrade my post style. Icee probably won't like it
