(((This is not about me wanting to put your character down Jan. I am simply attempting to stay true to the current antagonist, and knowing him as I do, I don't think he would stand for such idle words.)))
Zeno's appearance was a fortunate one for Grevious; for instead of dealing with Grevious on his own terms Reinsen merely gestured to a pair of Tel'Domeduathea that stood at the entrance of the pavilion to keep an eye on Grevious. The pair of elite celtarie warriors bowed immediately; their forms fading into shadow only moments later , as they disappeared from the tent.
Reinsen then turned away from Zeno to settle his icy gaze on the assortment of strategists and advisors gathered in the tent. "Zeno..." uttered Reinsen lowly as he placed his hand on the ornate parchment map that sat atop a stone table. The map displayed a section of the borderlands between Keirdon and Larovia. Reinsen's gloved hand moved to where the ashen city of Meradea was marked, and then traced a line upwards towards the north. He then glanced back to Zeno, "When this contingent of our forces set off to join up with the main encampment at Faltora, I want you to take the northernmost road back to Faltora...to keep an eye out for travelers, preferably a group that is accompanied by my daughter." Reinsen the turned back to the map. "I want her brought to me alive...but you can dispatch the rest should she be in the company of others."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I would never falter in this trial for my own whims or wishes, the workings of fate have all of us bound to this road...whether we wish it or not...there is no turning back" Issildia said solemnly. "Even so, I don't know how we are to defeat the larovian army, they are so vast and already they have scattered the armies of Keirdon making this a near impossible endeavor."
((Ok like I said I'll tone down this quips and remarks towards him from my character... although the fact that my characters are talked down to a lot still remains... rolleyes ... but other arguments for other days))
Grevious sighed as he put his glove back on and sighed looking over his sholders at the empty part of the camp he was in. He felt something behind him and he didn't have to be a genius to figure out that Reinsen still didn't trust him.
"hmph... no matter..."
Turning on he heel he started his way back to Reinsen's tent. After a a breif bit of walking he slided into the tent silently and walked over towards one of the tables and gazed at some of the papers spread out over it.
((Underlings are talked down to in an rp, if your char. was speaking to someone of lower position they wouldn't be talking down to you, no one-- definitely not raven, brings out of game biases into roleplaying.))
((I assumed you were some lower officer in Reinsen's army because I didn't care enough to actually read you char. sheet. But position is pretty much self explanatory-- Reinsen is more or less a dictator, who has already plowed through three countries with his massive army and extensive dark magic.))
((right that explains why he has a right to talk down to my character, being the big baddie that he is. What about some of the other characters to Sin? Course Sin doesn't really matter as much in the sence of talking down to becouse the only one to do that to a large extent was Issilida and thats another plot character thing))
((True I guess I always belived that it was assist him, but I can easily go with the whole serveing spinoff, still what would his rank be? I mean I said before that I'll tone down the quips and jabs. And I assumed that was just part of Issilidas character which is why there's no complaints there))
Relief flooded over Zeno as his lord gave him an assignment rather than the blade. "Yes, sire. When do you estimate your force's departure? I may need time to sharpen my daggers." A dark smile was now perched on his face as he straightened his back from his long bow. Though he no longer looked at the floor he refused to meet the gaze of Lord Nevar, instead letting his gaze flow across the tent's contents.
"We leave at dawn...you will have more than enough time to prepare." Reinsen stated flatly as he turned back to the map, making a brief gesture for Zeno to take his leave. Though he imparted a last bit of advice before the azerian departed. "Should my daughter be slain by your hand...your life will be forfeit...make no mistake, I will deal you the same fate as she was dealt...You may go." he said finally as he turned his attention back to the advisors.
