Elrothiel winced at the tone. Not long ago the man and his colleagues had been trying to save her and Ranu's lives. That kind of abrupt rudeness was hardly necessary.

Elros jogged up to the top of the hill, he could see far from here. Everything from The Black Gate to Rohan. he saw Osgiliath and Minas Tirith, a tear came to his eye when he saw the ships approaching the ruined city.
"i must get down there and help my people." He said to himself.
He whistled and his horse galloped up the hill. Elros hopped on and rode as fast as he could be carried towards the city.

Kaine stood on deck as his ship neared Osgiliath, this wasn't just another raid, this time he was transporting an enormous amount of Harad soldiers, apparently there was a great battle to be fought. He never tired of this, those weaklings in Gondor have long since lost their bloodline and their pride. To him it was only a matter of time before the Dark Lord broke them into submission. Being a pirate was a bit repetitive and he needed the occassional suicide mission to make killing intresting again.

The healer gasped at the tone, stepping aside. It'd sounded too much like an order to not move. The Ranger moved through the door, passing the parading troopers. They watched him as they passed. Some waved. He'd been here. Once. He'd helped these people make defence points three years ago. They'd grown jumpy. Now they grew cocky. They'd die.
Ranu's head shook, passing them. He walked down the ramps slowly.

Kaine grinned as the ship neared close enough to see the dots of men moving about in the distance. On his orders a volley of abalest bolts flew across the water hitting the land followed by another. They more than likely quietly ended the lives of the soldier who were unfortunate enough not be near cover. Before long the ship was in range to release its payload of Haradrim. They ran into the streets in a bloody rage screaming behind a banner of a red snake. Kaine and his men of course stayed on deck to watch the ensuing carnage and fire at the unsuspecting troops.

Elros ran to the front of the gondorian lines. the ships neared and unleashed their soldiers, "Grinll! Hold the right flank!" he yelled, almost all the gondor troops looked at him like a madman, but the higher ranking men knew who he was, "Hardiim, Stay with the archers!!" The approaching enemy reached them and swords clashed and blood went wild.
Elros slashed one across his stomach, spilling his guts, then slicing ones right arm off, then whacking him with the hilt of his blade.
He continued slaughtering the enemy, hoping to be victorious.

Elros vicious exploits made himself an obvious target for Kaine and he loaded and aimed a crossbow on him. The ship was soon making its exit and the abalesters continued firing from their relative safety about the corvette. The Haradrim continued fighting through the enemies defences taking moderate casualties.

Elrothiel stood slowly, then made her own way towards the exit. She exchanged brief words with several of the healers who were all determined not to let her out of their care, then ducked through the doorway. She could just see Ranu disappearing, but she let him go, taking an alternative route through the city, heading for the walls. She would wait here. There was nothing she could do to help Osgiliath now and if she died here rather than there, at least her sword arm would be the stronger for the extra time she would get for it to heal.

Before the arrows reached their destination, Hrorik stepped to the frontlines from the back and said something in his long forgotten language and he proceeded draw his huge war axe and he began to spin it. Within seconds he had gotten it to spin so fast that it was like a whirlwind that surrounded the majority of the men of Gondor. Most of the arrows were sent in another direction, while a few got through hurting no one. When Haradrim reached the shore, Hrorik charged forward with what looked like to the enemy a giant wolf. However, when the wolf reached them, he became a whirlwind of fangs that whenever touched by the enemy death reigned. Hrorik, when he hit the frontlines of the Hardrim they were cleaved in two armor and all. Like the orcs did at Pelennor fields the Haradrim began to try to run from this mighty warrior.(I'm making up for lost time guys).

With the men of Harad being pushed back they had to resort to breaking formation and fanning themselves out. They were far more suited to this type of warfare anyways. Poison tipped javelins and darts were soon flying towards Hrorik why had recently earned himself many foul names in their tongue. Another ship carrying a cargoload of Easterling cataphracts, these heavily armed and armored horseriders were to be sent when enough of the landing area had been cleared.

(well there must have been a lot you missed... even Gandalf himself would have a hard time godmodding on that scale. stare )

(in case you haven't read my profile, he is of a tribe long forgotten in the ages of time. He has some powers but not enough to make him a freaking god, plus i could've just said the arrows were sent right back at you, but that would be godmodding in a big way. Sending them off in different directions with a spiraling wind is not horrible thank you.)

((Ok, powers aside, don't do anything too drastic. Gondor does badly lose this battle...))

Kaine almost considered moving his attention to Hrorik but the heros of that type usually drained thier stamina in moments. He fired his crossbow at Elros who seemed to be busy engaging some Harad lancers. The men of Near Harad almost completely flanked the Gondor forces and surrounded them pushing them inward with no routes for escaping. Kaine thought this was a terrible strategy as one should always leave the enemy a single exit otherwise the enemy would fight with dire courage.

Elros looked around, his comrades fell before him, death everywhere. "Fall back! Fall out and retreat!!" He yelled, Gondor had lost this battle, but they would not lose the war. He yanked his blood covered sword from the gut of a Haradrim, he ran back wih the troops.

It was at this time that the ramps for the second waves of ships lowered. Out from these came the unique fighting force of the Easterlings, the cataphract. Heavy plating and a few gold ornaments adorned these horses and their riders. The horses had a dark aura about them and didnt seem to show signs of fear as the battle waged nearby. Before long they were trampling and lancing their way deep into the gondor lines who were panicing, retreating.

(I hope you remember that they were surrounded right?)
