thain89 You'll never expect what you can't see... Siom sighed, knowing this was coming. He looked back to the center of the table. His eyes glossed over as he seemed to get lost in thought. His brow curled with disease.
Dark thought for a moment. "So... is it worth it - being his slave?" Despite the wording, he was actually quite serious in his question.
...then, one day, it'll bite ya Graff keeps walking "slave? who said that Im a slave?, Im his disciple and if Im worthy he will appoint me as the next master, then he will teach me all the secrets... so Im not a slave... stare "

You'll never expect what you can't see... "Well... I mean, sure: you get to learn a few fancy tricks. But to be treated like an animal - to be treated as less than a pet - is the wait, the intense training, and the rules and punishments for breaking them worth all that effort for just a maneuver or two? What could he teach that is worth all that?" Dark may have been harsh, but he didn't fully understand the point of such strenuous activity. For an assassin, style is inefficient. As the two men approached the lounge door, Dark, surprisingly, lept forward and held it for Graff to enter.

thain89 Siom looked up. His eyes were wide as he was caught a little off guard - realizing Isaac's referring to what he has against Kayla. "I-it's not like that, it's-..." "Then what is it?" Isaac asked.

You'll never expect what you can't see... Siom again looked away, trying desperately to find a way to explain his feelings with words. There was a awkward silence between the two men. Finally, just before Isaac would speak again, Siom looked and began to explain, "Have you ever... wanted to protect someone?"

You'll never expect what you can't see... Siom seemed unresponsive to Isaac's answer. Still facing the table, he was still gathering his thoughts. Closing his eyes, he chuckled twice before letting out a sigh. He continued to re-answer his own question - the one which he directed at Isaac, "Of course you have. You have a wife, a daughter, a family..."

You'll never expect what you can't see... Dark waited until Graff entered. The entire time, he was just trying to understand. 'So... it's all done as a philosophy? A state of mind? A religion of sorts? ... I guess some people buy into anything.' "You do know there are faster methods to obtaining these attuned states with the elements, right?" Of course Dark was referring to curses and other unethical means, but to him they would be one in the same. Stepping into the lounge after Graff, he paused for a moment, confused upon seeing the upright flowers used as centerpieces across the tables. Par'il really did nice work with the weeds he brought him.
Siom finally looked up from his distance gaze. Disregarding Isaac's question, he continued with his guided explanation. "You've lived with the elves, right? I mean, considering your family, this conclusion seems logical."

You'll never expect what you can't see... Seeming a little less sentimental, Siom continued. "Have you heard of the stories? Their battles and victories."

Isaac was now more confused, yet his anger and suspicions hadn't subsided. "I have, but what does this have to do with Kayla?" he asked.

You'll never expect what you can't see... "Well..." Siom wasn't done explaining. "“Elves are a formidable force, easily. As a group, they are nearly impossible to take down. They're brilliant strategist. But more than that: they're magic-users. Do you know of how they can defeat an opponent, without ever invading them?” Siom waited to see if Isaac would respond, making sure he was at least still following him thus far.

You'll never expect what you can't see... "I am the result of that hex..." Siom's eyes dropped away from Issac, but he didn't turn away like he had done before.
