ChemieChan I thought so too but I just wanted to make sure. smile My first real life comission is on its way. Thanks guys! While I'm at it I just my own website and I need some help: http://www.freewebtown.com/chemiechan/I don't know what to put on the front page as an intro. Now it just feels stupid. :/ Also the site is'nt finished yet I need to ad text to the picture and re-size them more smothly (click two times for full view without the pixlyness). Overall comment about the layout and such are greatly appriciated. heart Late happy birthday little dream! biggrin I missed ya but I'll work on that chibi I promised you as soon as summer break is here. the buttons/menu on the left is a little sloppy maybe it would be easier to use if the menus came out towards the right instead of down? but you probably can't change that now. i like the colors. if you just had one of your favorite images on the front page with a lacy border above that small introduction it would look nice.

._.
Gaia is totally filled with crackpots. I got accused of scamming in my art contest because I gave out /extra/ prizes, and this person thought that one of the bonus prizes I gave was to an entry that didn't qualify to be a contest entry, as it was a WIP entry that just didn't have all the avatar details in it yet.

As if you didnt know the rules of your own contest.
... As if you didn't know the rules of contests on gaia...
Stupid.
Edit: I looked at the contest and at the thread you were accused in... The claim wasn't remotely supported by truths. It just looked like she was jealous. Even if art was picked by favoritsm, it's unprovable, in a contest you pick the entries that you like the best. Maybe you're friends with those people because you always liked their art. There was no reason that the artists who won wouldn't have been picked to win. Especially when the judge is someone who has seen a lot of art. I looked through the pictures and the ones that won were good pieces. That whole situation seems ridiculous to me. And it's also not a scam if you pick pictures that you like. As long as you give the prizes that you say you will, it's incorrect to use the term 'scam'. And giving out additional surprise prizes can't be considered a scam... if anything a gift.

Cross-Posted from my DA Journal ]June 10! June 10, and I'm free! No longer a high schooler (yet not a legal adult ^_^; )! Thus, I'm looking to commission someone as a present to myself. I know, may sound a bit stupid, but it'd be the second time I'd ever purchased a real-money commission, and it'd be important to me. XD I'm comfortable laying down $30 for the piece (aw, come on, I said I just graduated high school, and starting next fall, I'm laying down $46k a year!), but if it's really good, I can go up to $60. I like all mediums (pencil, painterly CG, marker), but I hold an ungodly adoration for watercolor. Traditional artwork, I would prefer to get originals. As for CG and such, I'd rather not get bustshots. The sole character would be Rivek Ailinar (http://www.deviantart.com/view/31267935/). So, any recommendations? Defientely feel free to list yourself. I have no idea who's open for commission and who's not. Apologies in advance if I don't go with your suggestions - I'm only looking for and can only afford one piece of art.

Kir-tat is amazing, and relatively cheap! You just have to mention that you would like the originals and she'll send them to you, no extra cost ^^
