Taylorsue has been in the guild for a long time...but went poof for a bit. Yeah, haiku are a Japanese type of poem. What I was wondering was why it was "haiku time" XD We should come up with another question! (Like a deep, philosophical, endless, unanswerable question) Yay. Those are fun. ^ ^ Okay. Who are you?

I am stressed..I have to do a presentation for my philosphy class. This will be my first presentation in college! I should be used to it already since I was in some speech competitions..but oh well, you never get used to being in front of people.

Good luck on your presetation. Yes, speaking in front of people is always nerve-wracking, no matter how much ypu've done it. Just how everyone is listening to you and watching your every move. Although, they are just your peers and the presentation itself doesn't last that long. Also, other people have to go too.

Oh... razz
I love my skills at skipping over people's names on the House list. *bonks head on wall*
I am a pixel created by some sort of "creativity" and produced through the Gaia Online servers and program.
Philosophy is fun, partly because it's interesting. Yea...interesting... Anyhow, good luck Paraphernalia!

TaylorSue! So good to see you again! smile
Good luck Paraphernalia - I know how stressful those can be, my first presentation in college was so stressful! But I'm glad I did so many of them because by the time I presented for my master's, I was fairly comfortable with them.
I LOVE the new item update in the stores!

Hey guys - I just entered the avatar arena for the first time! *dances* I'm really excited about it! With the new item update I bought the blue because they're totally Ravenclaw colors and then realized that if I changed my hair I could do a Rowena cosplay. So I entered - for next week, voting starts on monday. I'll post again but I'd love the support from you all! Here's what it looks like:

Wow, that looks really realistic. ^ ^ Not that I know what Rowena looks (looked) like, but whatever. XD I know! The new items are awesome. And there are tons of new things...-hops up and down- Presentations are evil. >.> It's so much easier to write something down, because you can fix mistakes...and take however long you would like to think through what you're going to say. But then, presentations are easier to show emotion with, and the teachers usually let bad word choice/sentence structure slide. ^ ^

Your Rowena cosplay looks awesome, Orna! I'll remember to vote a 10 and comment on the awesomeness. wink So, how have you all been? :3
At the moment, I got a 39.5 C in fever. I'm sweating, and I'm often cold as hell. Though now I'm burning up.. >.< I can't seem to sleep longer then till 6.. But then again, I did fall asleep at 21:30. O:
And my throat hurts. Not to mention I have small problems walking. And I get dizzy spells! D: And to make it even better, I have to go to school today. Whoopido.. Thankfully we only have one hour. We're gonna get information on the oral test we're gonna have on Friday. I got English!
Anyway, I'm hopefully rid of my fever by Friday. After all, not gonna be fun talking up there, if my throat is dying! D:
Anywho.. Enough complaining and whining on my part... Anything special happened lately to one of you?

The search thing doesn't seem to like me very much...-mutters- I'm sorry Kitsune. I hope you feel better. It seems like everyone around me is getting sick...-pours out a circle of purell around myself- XD You still have to go to school? >.> Oh yeah, have you ever heard of Emergen-C? It's like a little packet of powdery stuff that you mix with water. It helps a lot ^ ^ Oh yeah, I'm choosing between IB and a good GPA. Either way, I'll have AP credits, but which do colleges prefer...an IB diploma, or a 4.0 GPA? (Given that I can't have both, because IB classes are significantly harder...)

I'm feeling much better today, actually. My fever and headache is all gone! Though my throat still hurts. But I'll survive. :3 Thank you for your concern! ^^
Oral test comiing up tomorrow. I'm gonna talk about Mice and Men and the author. I didn't find that book to be my taste.. So I guess I got the short straw.. *sighs* Wish my teacher could've picked something more exiting. But, oh well.
At least I still get to talk freely about the Field Trip to Poland and Germany! That'll be fun. I already know what I'm gonna tell!

Nya, teacher-chosen books are nearly always headache-making. With lots of 'big words' (that dictionaries don't have) and long, overdrawn sentences T__T Yes. That's good, at least you won't be croaking out your presentation. ^ ^ Er, I can't get to Orna's entry in the avatar competition...o.o And if you can help, please tell me which is better: an IB diploma or a 4.0 GPA.

Nah.. Mice and Men is actually a very simple read. You must remember, my native language is not English. It's my secondary. And since I'm only in tenth grade, we get quite easy books to read. My teachers were very surprised to see me reading the Collected Works of Edgar Allan Poe. Though I think there's some misprints in the book.. I mean, the letter Æ couldn't have appeared that many times in his works. ....Could it? o.o
You have to wait till Monday before you can see it. O:
I dunno.. I have no idea what an IB diploma or a 4.0 GPA even is! Guess American and Norwegian education is quite different. Your setup is more complicated.. @.@
Random Thought: Did anyone else joke with their friends about the Harry Potter books ending the following sentence: "And then rocks fell and everyone died!"
