Yes... you do. You start as an acadamy student when you are a new member. I think senior members gain the ability to just go ahead and make chunin char's and crap though. But, don't worry, I'm making my first chr too... and I'm going to be an acadmy student. We're in the same little boat. whee

Hm...actually training Academy Students are fun. I was planning to raise all of my characters from Students up...and that was when it got tedious...even just thinking about it. crying So far, I only managed to successfully raise one of the five other (my newest Chuunin not counted) to Genin.

I wasn't here from a long time, so I just made my first Chuunin. Though I still like my little sarcastic Shin in Iwa the best...because Giglamesh makes the Academy lessons soooo interesting... >.> Of course, I'm quite fond of my first character, a strangely hyper-active Hyuuga girl as well cause Brom painstakingly taught me the game system while training her. ^_^;;

And anyways...the lessons are pretty interesting. My first character got tossed into a pit in Ame's training grounds and had to climb out. crying And then there's Giglamesh whom beat up Shin (if I remember the sequence correctly, he got kneed in the chin, stepped on, sent flying, got slashed at, and then knocked out by a Genjutsu). Hana (my newest character) has it easy but now I'm wondering around Oto with nothing to do. ;_;

Meh...if you join Iwa Academy it's so sad that Shin and his classmates won't be a perfect trio (two boys and a girl traditionally) anymore. =3 But that's alright, we're huggable teletubbies!

P.S. Ok...I lied. Shin isn't a teletubby but mean, grouchy, and formal/arrogant in speech. Hence how he got beaten up by Giglamesh. -_-;

Lolz! Same... When all six of my characters are active, I'll have 3 boys and 3 girls. Eh...you don't have to worry...most of my characters are not right in the head. Elruda's too bubbly for a Hyuuga... And Shinratsu...well...a dark kind of sarcasm... And then there's Hana with her quiet seclusiveness... Also, of the three to be made characters, one's a bodyguard, one a madman, and one a shy but formal girl.

Yup. Especially Shinratsu. He goes through mood changes like the pokemon mankey. O_o

And you get bloodlines by applying to the owners. If you want to be a Hyuuga, contact Kouri-chan, for example. Others...you'll have to look up in master clan list.

Well...five of my six characters are from my own custom made clans. Four's from the same family. =p

Lolz, they most certainly are. Happy one minute, hopping mad the next. That only somewhat describes Shinratsu though. He's stoic most of the time but when he goes through his nasty mood swings...well...he'll go through at least five different ones per minute. O_o
