Air

Malachai swooped, speeding off to a nice tree-coated drumlin some ways off, landing lightly in the upper branches, curling up and hiding halfway down the tree, obscured.

Taube Huldra Manor: Tamriel's Manor

Teemo would waddle out, doing his best to keep the bundled twoel off the ground and apparently having forgotten to put his clothes back on.

"A-All done!"

Pigpen

Finished counting, having heard the whistle of wings, the giantess looked around and chuckled, "Should have told him no wings." She whistled and Spunky came running, "Find him." Spunky sniffed the air, ran in a circle and trotted after the smell, Opal followed.

Taube Huldra Manor

The deeper evening would come without event. Everyone would sleep, guard or play as they wished well into the new morning. Those who slept would be left to enjoy the plush bedding to their hearts content with dreams holding no sense, as many dreams should. As the sun would slowly break the horizon, nightingales would sing outside the windows in stunning and non offensive choir. Cheerful maids would bring breakfast to the individual rooms, never saying a word and leaving as if they never were. The meals were modest in appearance but carefully made to the preference of assumed species as opposed to general consuming.

The day for Bure and Kassadin would be filled with delights. Beginning with a primped, polished and ill tempered Lady Jeanette visiting with several handmaids. She said very few things beyind informing of the purpose of her visit. Bure and Kassadin were below standard in appearance for a ball such as the one being thrown that evening. Bure was stripped and measured in every conceivable and inconceivable way at the moment Jeanette snapped her fingers. The Huldra gave not a single care as she paced around the Pixie, giving orders to the icy handed seamstress and making sure that everything was written down.

Bure would then be dragged into the bathroom for a less than friendly and quite invasive scrubbing session with no less than four maids. Lady Jeanette would go between the main bedroom and bathroom to oversee the cleaning of both Pixie and retainer was thorough. Kassadin would be polished and buffed from head to toe until Lady Jeanette's reflection shone back satisfactorily. Bure would be scrubbed with pumice stones, gritted soaps, scrubbed, buffed, lotioned and scented with a modest cologne. All protests, is there were any, were ignored outright. Lady Jeanette was unforgiving in her orders and was not above charming them if she must. She explained only once, "This is for your own good." Once her cold smile appeared and a grim satisfaction seemed to set in she and her servants left. Lady Jeanette was the last to leave the room. Her golden eyes commanding and tone giving no quarter, "I advise remaining on that stool until told otherwise. If you allow yourself to become filthy again WE WILL do this again." She left without a sound, the door shutting heavily behind her.

It was nearly an hour later when two women walked in and in a frenzy of chatter and clucks began a very much needed process according to them. Bure's nails were cleaned, smoothed, filled, buffed, glossed, painted with a modest color and sealed to withstand a decent amount of time. Bure's hair was rewashed and styled nearly ten times before the two 'ladies' agreed on which style looked best. Oddly enough they ended up slicking his long hair back and into fine curls towards the bottom. The comment being his little wings were a pain to work around as the style should accentuate not only his face, but the wings. There was enough gel and hairspray to kill an entire ecosystem. Both clucking to one another about how unmanageable his hair was compared to Tamriels' own and if her was going to be her mate they prayed they all received her locks.

Finally came the makeup, it wasn't much... well it WAS but it barely showed. "Oh don't struggle so dear- I promise you'll barely notice a thing," the dark one cooed, applying a neutral eyeliner with skilled, long nailed hands. "You mean besides an even complextion, eyes that pop and a little life to those horrible lips," the pink haired one groused as she finished evening out, cleaning and shaping Bure's eyebrows. Both continued to chatter wildly enjoying their wickedly backhanded conversation and not caring one bit about the poor pixie. He may as well have been a dummy they were gussying up for time in a display windowOn their way out both would pause and look Kassadin over. Having him come down to their level and circling him. They worked a little magic seeming to refine the armor in a few places. The looking both of them over, arms linked, the two threw their heads back back, bursting into laughter as swaying out. Again leaving begin instruction to not get dirty or the whole process starts all over again.

Lunch would be served. This time it held no flair to it, it was bland but filling- a small note on the tray promising the food at the ball would be simply to die for. No maid would stop long enough to speak to them. They would not make eye contact and seemed to panic completely when stopped or their path out obstructed in any way. One maid burst into tears and the other had to quickly escort her out. Clearly the stress of the event was on the staff.

After lunch there was a very long wait. A very long wait. And finally Yates appeared with a handful of maids. Yates explained it was time to get dressed and it would be best to allow the maids to do their jobs. Regardless of protests the maids whipped away Bure's towel and dressed him from head to toe. The suit would fit perfectly, except for around the neck. It was ever so slightly snug, as if a pair of insanely WEAK hands were trying to choke him. Otherwise the measurements had been exact and the snow white suit looked phenomenal on the Pixie. Yates walked around Bure, looking him over with stern attention- adjusting a few things here and there and taking the time to straighten the pendant at the Pixie's throat. "Yes... Lady Jeanette chose very well on the material, Lady Ophelia on the accessories,"

Yates hummed, setting the cufflinks appropriately and smiling. Yates gave instructions for the shoes, watching as two maids took pains to make sure the shoes shone brilliantly. A single maid remained behind with Yates, the rest scampering out in a clucking huddle. Yates and the maid would set Kassadin with a white sash. It was a glamorious material which shimmering brilliantly it was simply something to dress him up a bit. The maid sped out giggling. Yates looked to the two men and smiled, "It will be an hour and I will come to retrieve you. Thank you for being so patient with today's process. The Mistresses take this very seriously." And he was, "Oh yes, do not sit down in that suit or brush up against anything. If it becomes dirty before the event... I assure you it is the last thing you want for yourself," gone.

Another hour passed, allowing Bure the time to become adjusted to the oddly perfect shoes and Kassadin to watch a few videos. Also allowing the men to settle in before the big event.

Yates would return as promised the man dressed elegantly and oddly enough seeming far younger. He offered a dashing smile, he loved events like this, they put a spring in his step. Yates would lead the two down long brightly lit and decorated corridors, the manor seemed to have come alive in the expectation of the event, the gentle scent of lilies and oak hung pleasantly in the air. Taking them to the top of a grand staircase. The room was teeming with beings of all kinds, dressed in multitudes of colors and styles, most dancings, many eating and several always watching the staircase. It would be simple to spot the suitors amongst the others in the crowd as they too seemed to be wearing ensembles in white- though none were the same. The footman from the carriage the day before announced, "Lord Bleghabie Du Alpharus Tenzaine Grixis and Retainer Kassadin." If they looked for Yates, he would be gone- perfectly melted into his surroundings as a good butler is rarely seen or heard. Once the two men reached the bottom of the staircase, most of the attention having been afforded to them would be gone and they would be allowed to mingle at their own pace.

((Alright so this took me from 4pm to 7pm. I know it's a lot to read and for that I'm sorry. For the sake of time and my sanity be posting Teemo and Tam's exp in a spoiler thing on my next reply and moving the story on.

Tree

Malachai smirked, hidden in his wings, careful. He couldn't remember if he was supposed to find his way back to base, but he'd get found, and that was just as fulfilling.

Field

Spunky picked up his pace, distracted by a rabbit but a sharp whistle from Opal pulled him back onto Malachai's trail. Opal walked casually humming a song in a pleasant, but deep tone. She was in no rush to find Malachi, she suspected hiding was the fun part as for the adrenaline and the like. A previous master had often referred to it a thrill. Opal did not see the thrill in being hunted, but it was always interesting to see the reactions. The came to a small grove and Spunky began to spin in circles- uncertain with the heavy scent of the trees.

Opal's emerald gaze fell to the trees, searching for heavily weighted branches or... she smirked, musing loudly enough to be heard, "I believe we forgot to set the base. It should be a race back to the inn. It is the farthest."

Oh. Well...the point was not to get tagged, wasn't it? Mal peeked up, judging where Opal was.

Grove

She was facing away from where he hid, not completely turned away and most certainly unaware. Spunky scented the air and shook, the giantess pet the wolf, he was learning but beings were far harder to track than animals. Especially those which could fly. She continued to look, strange how such a flamboyant creature was so good at hiding

Tree

Oh, that was fine, then. Smiling, he slowly spread his wings, sneaking to the top of the tree and taking off, dead opposite where Opal was facing.

Grove

Opal turned her head, the rustle of branches more than enough to catch her attention. Scrappy sniffed the air and took off like a shot- he knew what to do! Opal... followed hadn't seen anything. Admittedly she wasn't very good at this game.

Air

Sailing along, Mal flapped his wings lightly, gliding on thermals. He knew the wolf could catch his sulferous scent, but he'd never be reached in the skies.

Lost....?

Spunky began barking at the sky, hopping up on his rear legs before taking off like a shot. Had the wolf gone funny on her? Looking up, Opal smacked her forehead feeling like a fool. Why would anyone with wings stay on the ground in a game of hide and seek? And there he was, up and above- no doubt riding the heat in the air. Opal chuckled, she certainly couldn't change the rules now- but how to get him down without it being viewed as an attack? Opal certainly could not jump that high. She could launch herself based on the elasticity of one of the trees but that was a dangerous game.

Ah wait. She had an idea. She hoped he wasn't looking to see. With a well placed foot, a tree snapped and crashed down and Opal allowed it to fall on her. She registered no pain as those ends were long deadened and in the most desperate tone, one she'd learned a long time ago, cried out in false agony.

Air

Hearing the tree snap and the cry of pain, he gasped, looking back. "Opal?" he cried, flying back to investigate, promptly swooping down to try and move the tree, fretting. "I-I'll help! Stay still!"

Partially Under a Tree

Ah and here he came. And he sounded worried. Opal would make it a point to not make contact- the tree was pretty light to say the least, though she wasn't certain if he could lift it. Light for a giant- maybe a demon. Who knew their limits? Once he was close to the ground, the giantess began to stand and found herself a bit heavy on one side... ah- the tree seemed to have made a home in part of her side. She'd hold up a hand to halt him, "Game pause. In my foolishness I seem to need to bandage my side."

Trees

He pouted, stopping. "Should I go to the smithy and find some, or inside..?" he said sadly, fidgeting.

Tree

"First of all stay calm, I cannot feel it even if it does hurt. Secondly I am sorry," Opal pulled the branch out of her side and put a great paw over it to keep the blood under control. Spunky whined loudly, curling his tail beneath himself. "Let's take a nice walk back," she told them casually, her stern smile an attempt to reassure them both. She would begin to walk towards the forge, "I believe I have some bandages left in the forge."
