Deidara had been hiding in a tree nearby messing with some of the clay in his bag when he heard Kimiko complement his hair. My hair's awsome? ... I can't beleive some one, let a lone a girl as nice as Kimiko, would say something good about the way I look for a change.... Damn it! Don't get anywhere near emotionally attached. Just stick around here until something better comes along. In the mean time, I'll just work on my art... and continue listening in. He smirked a bit and continued messing with the clay, not really needing to do much to stay hidden.

Jack rolled his eyes, but didn't dare say anything in case he was accidentally too loud.
"It does!" Kimiko agreed. "And I really wanna mess with his ears... But that seems a bit like hugging a stranger, doesn't it? I don't wanna invade his personal space, or anythin'..." She paused, looking thoughtful for a moment. "You might not have gotten the chance to see too much of him, but do you know who else has (well, I guess, had) really great lookin' hair? Chase Young. I know, I know, he's evil, and a real creep, but oh my god am I jealous of that man's hair!"
Chase internally smirked; his hair was something he had great pride in.

"Nina wonders how they keep their hair so shiny and smooth looking," Nina put her hand on her chin in thought, "I try but it barely works. The last time I had to ask Yuta for help and he used magic. I don't really like Chase, he's a meanie," Nina let out a sigh, "I can't even hug Jack because of that jerk."

"I have fun with all kinds of different styles with my hair," Kimiko replied. "Not really recently, though. There's just nothing to work with out here... But yeah, I agree with you, Chase is a huge jerk. There's really nobody who likes him, even on the Heylin side. Well, except for Jack. He's pretty much the only person that seems to like Chase no matter what. That's probably gonna change, though, what with that overgrown lizard is doin' to you two."

"I wonder why Jack likes him so much...but I hope your right, I miss being so close to him," Nina looked off into the distance before looking back at Kimiko, "Anyway, Meowth seems to have grown really attached to you."

Kimiko thought about telling Nina that she suspected Jack to have a crush on the dragon man, but decided against. "My guess is hero worship," she replied. It was at least half-true... That's at least how it started, if not stayed. "Guys can get pretty weird about things like that." Hearing Meowth mentioned, she grined. "He's such a cute little kitty, isn't he? I hope Master Fung will let me keep him, but the only thing close to a pet I've ever seen at the temple is Dojo. ...And that dragon counts, 'cause he has a litter box..."
Jack frowned a little, feeling guilty. Here he was, practically fighting against his friends to keep Chase with them, while Nina was the one that was really suffereing... Chase was making Nina sad and lonely... "I'll make her dead as well if you don't stop that line of thought this instant, boy. ...You didn't used to have a problem with her..."

"Guys can be weird, like there was this one guy at my old school who kept trying to take pictures of me, he was trying to catch me using magic," Nina looked at Kimiko, "Of course, we ignored him and I was careful not to use magic around him," her mind went back to her home, "I wonder if Meowth would like Rio? They can both talk."

"Who knows? With you bein' with Jack an' all, maybe they'll even get a chance to meet!" Kimiko suggested. "When it comes to combat, he's, well, really below the bar... But the kid's good with technology, I'll give him that. I'll bet he's already bragged about his time machine, right? Even before I got here?"
Jack grinned a little. Praise seemed to be rare for him, so he always would take what he could get. "That desperate for aproval, are you? Am not!"

Nina smiled and nodded, "Yea, and he said he'd build a machine that would let us visit each others worlds. I could just go through the Magic Kingdom headquarters, but that costs a lot. But Meowth might even like Ayu's puppy. I turned her into a human with the magic kibble, like I do with Rio a lot, and they got along great. I wonder what Meowth would look like as a human...."

"Interesting idea. Hm, I wonder how Dojo would look as a human? We might have to try this out, sometime," Kimiko decided, with a nod. "I bet the other guys at the temple would love to meet you. Omi's really a bit on the naive side, but he means well, and is adorable to boot. My friend Clay's a great big softie, and tries his best to be a gentleman. He won't even fight any girls! Not for real, at least. I'll give ya a heads up on Rai, though, he thinks he is such a lady's man!"
Jack wasn't sure if he liked where this was going, anymore...

"Your friends sound so great, Rai does sound a lot like Yuta," Nina laughed, "My friends would be super excited to meet you too! There's Ayu, who's really nice, she helped me find my computer when I had just met her! Then there's Tatsushi, Ayu's boyfriend, I actually had a little crush on him, but Ayu had loved him for so long it was really great when they finally got together. He's really sweet and kind. Then there's my ex, Hiroki, he lent me his Doraemon manga, which is why I told him about my being a witch."

"Yea, they're all really great. But about Hiroki, it's just that Eltoria got to be so much, we sorta decided it would be easier to let each other see other people a tad bit closer to where we were," Nina shrugged, she giggled, "I guess Jack isn't any closer, oh well, we can manage."

Nina giggled a little, blushing a little at her compliments, "Nina loves Jack so much," She sighed before looking at Kimiko, "What about you? Do you see yourself falling in love with any of the guys here? You said who you like, but who could you really fall for?" ((Oh, and this is what Meowth would look like as a human->  He is a smexy beast.))
