Motthew looked at her, tilting his head. Ronan did seem to be more comfortable around the other ghoul. What was her name.... Maria? He looked ahead "Well... relationships can be tough." He told her.

He looked at her, "I don't exactly know him well, but, he seems a bit weird about dating." He shrugged and looked down too "Honestly, if it were me, I wouldn't have any problem telling you how beautiful you look." He smiled.

Motthew grinned at her "Why thank you." He chuckled "You shouldn't let something like that get you down, not when you've got friends around. Now, I don't really get your relationship with him, but, we all came here to have fun!" He turned to her "that's much better than worrying over anything else, don't you think?"

Ronan finally noticed Doriana had left, frowing a little.

"Uh... where'd Doriana go?" He'd been so distracted talking to friends, and then this drama with Jewels had sort of sidetracked everything.

"I believe she went off with that new boo." Bridget explained.

Ronan tilted his head, looking where the troll ghoul pointed and smiling a little.

"Good."

"Wait.. what?"

"What?"

Bridget just rolled her eyes, muttering. "Wow... no wonder she left you... " and walked away for find Jewels.

"Should I go after her then?" Why were ghouls so difficult and baffling? She seemed happier with Mothew, so surely the best action would be to leave them to dance and enjoy themselves? Right? After all, he wanted Doriana to have a good night and he was pretty sure she'd be a lot more content with a guy who wanted to be there with her. Then again, it had been clearly shown to him time and time again that he really had no idea what he was doing. In all likelyhood, he was wrong about everything yet again.

Doriana smiled and took his hand, spinning around and letting her dress flow. In her mind, she imagined the time they accidentally danced in the hallways on generbent day... Amd now, they were doing the same dance. She smiled up at him as they danced, her heels clopping on the floor.

"Well... " Perry looked to the filling dance floor and extended a hand. "Wanna dance? It's kinda why we're here right?"

Motthew heard her sigh and glanced down at her. He looked where she did at Ronan. His antennae twitched a little. She seemed a bit upset at Ronan, Ronan seemed... well sort of reluctant. Motthew sighed too, Ronan didn't seem like they were together, but Doriana sort of did, even if she said they aren't

Goodness, Motthew thought, this is all just confusing.

Motthew kept his hands on her waist, tilting his head as he listened to her. When she finished, he paused and looked up "Hmm... well, I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I don't think you're bad." he looked at her and smiled a little "I mean, I haven't felt awkward around you, and I certainly don't need to be told to compliment you." he shrugged a shoulder.

"Maybe... Maybe you need to not force yourself to be around him." he said, looking in her eyes over his sunglasses, "It sounds to me like, maybe, he's not as interested in you as you may have thought. You should be with someone who wants to be with you." he smiled, "Don't you think you deserve better? Cuz I do."

Motthew smiled at her and nodded "Hey, what are friends for?" he said. "When it comes down to it, I think you just need to ask yourself how you feel. Really try and figure things out, you know?"
