Rosalyn turned quickly to face the man and saw him holding himself up in the doorway. She sighed as she went over to him and helped him to stand by placing his arm over her shoulder. She may be in a weakened state, but she was still stronger than she looked. "Here let's get you taken care of," she said softly as she helped him to sit on one of the beds. She moved to get the things she would need to clean him up. "For what it is worth...I am sorry for the things that were done to you."~~~~~~~
"Well they are idiots," Carolyn smiled as Kasumi's fingers roamed over her body. She shivered slightly and then chuckled. She would never tire of this woman's touch, she was sure of that. ~~~~~~~ "I am sure we will," Constance said as she shifted so she could look up at Merrick. "And we have all our lives to figure everything out." She smiled as she took his hand and lay it on her stomach. "Merrick...we're going to be parents," she said softly. "I never thought...I never thought I would find someone I could raise a family with."~~~~~~~ Merida laughed softly as she felt Naruto's body already wanting hers again. She kissed him back, her eyes closing. Her hands held his face gently as she pulled away slightly. "I would do anything for you to make the past disappear. You shouldn't have to think about it anymore. It is the past and we are here together now."

Kýojin cocked his head, a bit cautious and slightly confused as to why the woman was helping him. He was even more confused when she apologized. "It doesn't matter. They think that'll I'll come crawling back to them, yet they don't realize that I'm nowhere near the clueless, stupid tool they assume me to be," he said quietly. Most of the wound were on his arms, upper chest, and abdomen, though one shallow if long cut was just below his throat going upward.

Kasumi snickered. "True, but then... it seems when demons become what they are, their IQ drops so low, Lucifer couldn't see it from Hell," she said with a sigh, snuggling against Carolyn.

Merrick could feel the faint, subtle life energy signatures within Constance's body. "It seems like the demons are more clueless than they look, which says a lot considering they make Billy Bob Thornton in 'Sling Blade' look like Einstein," he murmured with a low chuckle.

Naruto blinked, teasing her. "What past? With you, I'd be more likely to be able to catch the wind, though with you, it feels like the planet slows down to a stop," he said quietly, half joking.

Lorcan chuckled softly, gently massaging Cassandra's shoulders. "You know, demons seem to underestimate what love is truly capable of... but then, it's their loss," he said quietly.

Rosalyn was quiet for a moment as she began to slowly clean his wounds making sure that they wouldn't get infected. "Most of them have a below average IQ, so they think everyone else is the same if not less smart." She thought she had gotten all of them and then she caught sight of the cut that was below his throat and traveled upwards. She got another clean rag and put the solution on it as she cleaned up the wound. She caught his gaze briefly before looking away again. ~~~~~~~ Carolyn wrapped her arms around Kasumi. "Yeah they definitely aren't the brightest." She closed her eyes as she just relaxed there with the other woman. ~~~~~~ Constance snorted softly and shook her head. "It makes you wonder how they ever survive with such low intelligence like that." She sighed softly. "Hopefully we get this whole thing resolved soon. I would love for a our children to grow up without the threat of the demons coming for them."~~~~~~~ Merida smiled softly at Naruto. "My world is so much brighter with you in it." She snuggled close to him. "I never knew there could be so much brightness and happiness." All that she said to him was true. She had always felt as if her life was dull despite the fact that she was gifted with magic and she constantly had to protect herself and those she cared for. ~~~~~~~ Cassandra sighed happily as Lorcan massaged her shoulders. It helped her to relax even more. "Love can overcome anything and everything." She said softly.

Kýojin leaned his head back slightly, unconsciously making it easier for Rosalyn to clean the wound. He heard soft ting sounds as the small shards of metal were forced out as the nanites within his body enhanced his natural healing factor. "I don't know what they did to me, but the metal... it's denser and lighter than steel, yet at the same time can be razor sharp," he sighed softly, unaware that as he spoke blood leaked from the cut on his throat.

Kasumi sighed, letting her body doze while she focused, her subconscious sensory talent warning her that Rosalyn was no longer in her room but was in the infirmary with someone whose energy she didn't recognize, but it seemed to sway chaotically between controlled and calm one moment, then dark and dangerous the next. The feel of the darker side of the energy was something she'd sensed only once before, and it was from a demon that supposedly was deceased long ago even before Rosalyn's father had been born.

Merrick snickered. "Well, if they do come... they won't leave... unless it's in pieces," he murmured as he gently massaged Constance's shoulders and back.

Naruto shrugged, letting her snuggle closer to him. "You make molten magma look like liquid nitrogen," he mumbled as a soft yawn escaped him. It was then that he sensed the same unusual, chaotic energy that Kasumi sensed; ever since absorbing the 'demon' that had been a darker part of his own father, he had had the talent to sense the latent energy within people.

Lorcan sighed as he felt Cassandra unconsciously shift and snuggle closer, though he felt a certain part of himself becoming very attentive.

Rosalyn looked up at him once more as he spoke. "Nobody should ever be experimented on." She cleaned the blood that seeped from the wound on his neck. "Now stay quiet for a moment so I can get this taken care of and you wont bleed all over yourself." She used her forceful tone of voice so he knew that she meant it. She needed to sit for a moment to collect her energy, but she didn't want to until he was taken care of. ~~~~~~~~ Carolyn's eyes were closed as she allowed herself to drift into a slight doze. She knew that they all should get rest while they could. Who knew when something else was going to happen. ~~~~~~~~ "Yes, they won't get away from either of us." Constance said with a chuckle as she thought about it. She knew they would keep coming for them. They needed to get to the one pulling the strings. Her uncle, Damon, would be the easiest to get to. She knew he would come out if they were out and about. ~~~~~~~~ Merida's eyes closed as she relaxed against Naruto. She felt a strange source of energy within the building, but right now it wasn't showing any sign of aggression. All the elders knew when the place was being threatened. "Seems we have a newcomer," she said softly. ~~~~~~~~ Cassandra chuckled softly as she felt Lorcan's desire. Her body too was already responding to his.

Kýojin shrugged slightly, remaining quiet, though he unconsciously focused, shifting into a meditative trance. As he did so, his aura became warm and, though he didn't realize it, comforting as it filled the room as a faint prismatic aura flickered and swirled around him.

Rosalyn was instantly put at ease as Kyojin's aura filled the room. She finished cleaning the wound and patching it up. "There we go," she said softly. She turned away from him as she gathered up the things she had used. "You should probably go ahead and get some rest."~~~~~~~~~ Constance smiled. "Nobody has ever quoted scripture to me before." She nuzzled his neck gently. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." She looked up at him. "1 Corinthians 13: 4-8. That has always been my favorite and I have never felt is was more true."~~~~~~~~ "I think we are okay for now," Merida said softly as she opened her eyes a little. "Rosalyn is with them. I can feel her presence as well."~~~~~~~~ Cassandra laughed softly as she looked up at him. "Well we can always find out," she said suggestively. "Although we should be careful about expending too much energy. There is a new presence in the house. Right now I don't feel anger."

Alede OOC - What verse of Scripture would you say describes you best? For me, it was Exodus 4:10 mainly because I know how Moses felt in that time. Kýojin spoke without opening his eyes. "Usually meditation does the work of rest for me... but recently, it's been harder and harder to rest, even with meditation," he confessed. He wasn't sure why it was happening, but had a dark suspicion that it was whatever dark power he'd awakened against Damon.

Merrick chuckled. "The funny thing was, the Song of Solomon leapt to mind when I first saw you, though I didn't really think about it consciously until now: 'For your love is more delightful than wine. The fragrance of your perfume is intoxicating; your name is perfume poured out'," he murmured, quoting it from verses 2 and 3 of the first chapter.

Kaosujin Ryu I am not sure...guess I never really thought about it Rosalyn listened to him quietly as she put the things away. "I know how it is. Sleep eluded me for a long time. Finally after years of captivity, sleep was the only way to escape." She turned back around to look at him. "I can show you to a room if you want so you can try to sleep."~~~~~~~~ Constance smiled softly at Merrick. "I like that one," she said softly as she kissed him. She rested her forehead against his with a sigh. "You are absolutely perfect."~~~~~~~~ "Yes, that's her." Merida said with a chuckle. She knew that he wouldn't know who it was considering he had never met her before. She touched his face lightly. "And that is not even her full power. Wait until she gains her strength."~~~~~~~~ "Oh yes, let's do that," Cassandra grinned as she pressed her body against. "I am dying to find out which will happen first..."

Alede OOC - Trust me, figuring it out may surprise you. Kýojin exhaled slowly as he opened his eyes, pausing slightly as he felt the 'belt' around his hips shift, revealing it wasn't a belt at all, but a simian tail with dark brownish black fur. He tilted his head, his shaggy black hair hanging down just below his shoulder blades as he stood.

Merrick shrugged as she lay against him, not really thinking of much at all.

Naruto inhaled sharply as he sensed for just an instant the chaotic energy grow massively to a level that made him think of someone looking at the sun without protection. Moments later, the energy had shrank down again to the level it had previously been at. He unconsciously shivered. For an instant, I felt like a caterpillar looking at a human... overwhelmed even with my powers and skills, he thought. He had no doubt that if that power were truly unleashed, it would be able to not only destroy them, but the planet itself dozens of times over.

Rosalyn watched as he stood from the bed and that's when she noticed that the belt he had wasn't a belt at all. It was in fact a tail. She didn't allow the surprised to show on her face. "Look at me being rude," she said with a small smile. "My name is Rosalyn."~~~~~~~~ Constance chuckled as she continued to lay next to Merrick. This is how she wanted everyday to be. No worries, nobody coming after them. ~~~~~~~~ Merida too felt the sharp increase of energy and she froze for a moment. It made the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. She shivered slightly. "I don't know what that was, but it was massive." She ran her hands lightly across Naruto's chest.

Alede OOC - Trust me, figuring it out may surprise you. Kýojin tilted his head, a fractional frown flickering at the corners of his mouth as his dark slate irises deepened slightly in color. "Unfortunately, I don't know my name... I think it's Jin, though," he said quietly, pronouncing it as 'Jee-an'. It was mainly from the fusion of the metal that ensured the nanites within his body to his bones that he'd lost a good deal of his memories.

"I don't know, but it was as if whoever it was was suppressing almost all of his power, as if he doesn't want to be found by something or someone," he murmured, unconsciously shivering not from the pulse of energy across his senses, but from Merida's light touch as he knew Merida could feel his lower body react by shifting against her almost helplessly.

"Well Jin...it's nice to make your acquaintance." Rosalyn said softly as she walked slowly to the doorway. "The rooms are this way if you want to attempt to rest." She pushed her hair behind her ear as she stepped out of the room. She hoped he would actually follow her. She wanted to get back to her room and just sit for a little while. She knew the others would be up and about soon. ~~~~~~~~ Constance shivered as Merrick's hands ran over her arm. She opened her eyes slowly, pushing herself up a little. "Mother is up." She frowned a little. "She shouldn't be up. She is still much too weak."~~~~~~~~ "We will have to meet this person then," Merida had a tinge of laughter to her voice. She knew exactly what her touch was doing to Naruto. She revealed in it, amazed that she had this type of power over him.

Kýojin smiled faintly before he walked after Rosalyn. His gaze scanned with cool calmness around the halls warily. His movements seemed more fluid, almost more like that of an animal than human. His hand shifted, a small tendril of deep silvery flame flickering between his fingers.

Rosalyn led him through the halls towards the bedrooms. Finally she stopped in front of a door. She pushed it open after making sure nobody was already in the room. "Here, I am sure this one will be okay for you to use." She stepped to the side so that he could enter. "I am just a couple doors down from you."~~~~~~~~ Constance lay back down next to Merrick as she sensed her mother getting closer. It seemed that she needed a time to stretch her legs a little. There was someone else with her though. Someone Constance did not recognize. ~~~~~~~~ "I am not surprised at your reaction. I am just surprised that I am the one who is causing this reaction in you. It is me I am surprised about. I have never caused anyone to feel like this." Merida had a small smile on her face.
