Kaiser is caught off guard with her sudden suggestion and tries well to hide this. However, Kaiser is also delighted to hear that somebody would be willing enough to be his partner right from the get go. Kaiser realizes that it must have taken the girl a lot of courage to ask him to be her partner and here he was, insensitive enough to be having wandering thoughts. Kaiser smiles at the girl and says"It would be my honor to become your partner."

Really?! I honestly thought you'd say no....I, um, I'm used to that. But really, if you just said no because you feel bad for me... you don't have to be my meister, she said, then added, I've been on my own for a long time, and therefor I can take care of myself. Thinking for a moment she finally says, I've got a house with an extra room....It's yours if you want it. She then adds quickly, Since we're going to be partners and all, I want to help you out. She stares at him for a few more moments then looks away blushing. Jeez I gotta stop doing that, she thinks. I'm just not used to someone actually paying attention to meWell then, she finally says, would you like to learn my abilities and my weapon type? She asks somewhat proudly.
Kaiser is taken aback by her sudden question."Wow, I didn't expect for you to offer so suddenly. Are you sure about your decision? I mean, yes, we are partners but we've only just met. Aren't you afraid that I might take advantage of your hospitality and kindness?"Kaiser asks this with a serious look on his face. Although, he is happy that his partner offered him board and lodging, Kaiser doesn't want a kind girl such as this to one day regret extending such niceties to strangers and suffer their cruelty.

Thinking for a moment, Believe me, if you try anything I'll either 1. kill you or 2. beat the styx out of you and leave you for the witches. she then adds under her breath,I actually know the perfect spot, since I stole from them multiple times. she then clears her throat. So back to my question, since you didn't answer, I'll just tell you, she decides out-loud, taking his hand and leading him toward the school. I am a shifter type weapon. My four forms are; fan, spear, katana or sword, and my resonance form the scythe. With each of these abilities, she says opening the door to the school with him in tow, I have four abilities. In my fan form the ability is water vortex. In spear mode it's icy pillars. In katana mode my ability is water pulse. My resonance move is frozen spirit. In order for me to konw which form you want to use at different times, you're obviously going to have to tell me which "mode" you want. Oh, and before anything else she says stopping suddenly in the middle of the hallway, making him bump into her, I have a phobia, A phobia of saliva. If you spit around me I might run away screaming....or worse....This also means no dogs.She then notices she's still holding his hand and quickly lets go. Um, sorry.
As Ryu strings him along, Kaiser merely stares at her, eyes unblinking, as if seeing a ghost before snickering and eventually erupting into laughter."It looks like I was mistaken. "I believe that in order to identify which of your forms best suit me, we should first establish that we are compatible of working together, no?" Kaiser strokes his chin as if deep in thought. "Now, If only there were a site wherein we could practice just trying to get comfortable with each other, to be more specific me trying to see if I'm capable of wielding you. I have learned from my journey that meisters and weapons have this sort of bond...a wavelength as, they call it. We must first establish if we have compatible wavelengths before pushing further."

Oh, she starts laughing too, which feels good because she hadn't done it in such a long time. There is the training field here at the DWMA. We can go there if you wish. I also did not mean that I can only use one form. You can switch between them in battle if you like. she then thinks, Should I tell him? Yes I must.I, um, have something else I need to tell you. she says getting serious again. My parents are very rich, they do not approve of weapons or meister....they used to keep me locked away, she pauses trying to get her strength up, I ran away from home a few years ago.... to survive, I was a thief a darn good one. But the reason why I'm telling you this is because not only are my parents after me, but also some, um, enemies I've made. Therefor it is my turn to ask you. Are you sure about your decision?
Kaiser seems unfazed by her declaration, instead, he unsheathes his sword, only to show her the cross-guar which was artistically made."We've only just met, yet you've shared so much of your past to me. It should only be fitting that I share you mine. I am the heir of the Bahr clan. We...were a family of skilled swordsmen and swordsmiths. That was until a power-hungry weapon slaughtered all the members of my family. Only my brothers and I survived, thanks to my father's wisdom. Unfortunately, my brothers and I separated paths. They vowed to seek out our family's destroyers...I on the other hand chose a longer path to vengeance."Kaiser flips the sword, catching it's edge, with the handle facing Ryu. "If you swear upon this sword that you won't betray me, then I have no qualms with your past, in fact, I'll even wager my life to shield you from your enemies, however, should you swear and betray me in the future, this sword shall sever your head from your body." Kaiser looks straight into her eyes, unwavering.

She looks Kaiser straight in the and takes the hilt of the sword. Then I swear to help you find your vengeance and to never betray you, she then smiles determinedly and lets go of the sword so he can re-sheath it. So, shall we go to the training field then, meister?
Kaiser nods in agreement but upon reception of the handle, he quickly makes a negligible cut on Ryu's palm as well as on his own's."Now the contract is in effect. If I fail to uphold my end, you have every right to take mine, and vice versa." Kaiser smiles as he pulls out a handkerchief from his chest pocket and gently dabs Ryu's wounded palm."I apologize for taking you by surprise but this is how we Bahrs conclude mutually binding negotiations."

Kaiser finishes tending to her wound as he looks at where they're going. He can't help but admire this girl's strength of will and mental fortitude. She clearly has gone through a lot in her life.
