Erm, I'm working on getting 50 comissions (not a member yet), and I was wondering, does anyone know any good art shops? Or any good art shops that are priced low?

there's a really cheap shop hosted by i-minh and gonbe
they do really good anime headshots for under 10k

that's probably the shop with best quality i've seen for the lowest price recently, only thing is they have 2 slots at a time so it's hard to snatch one, you have to stalk it at night mainly.
there are a lot of shops that charge under 1k in the r&c [there are more of those than pricy shops] - you just have to look, they pop up constantly - the quality isn't as good and i couldn't give you anyspecific ones, unfortunately. :/

Hmm, I have an avatar/character idea that I've finally finalized a lot of details on and I want a really good quality commission of her. Anyone know anyone taking IRL commissions now who does really nice realism or semi realism and who is fairly reasonable time wise with commissions?

He cancelled the rest of his bust commissions and says he's reworking his whole commission process so he'll probably be taking them soon, but I don't know that he is at this instant.

Advice from the art whores needed.
I have never bought a RL comission so I have no idea what's cheap and what's not. I'm poor so if I'm goingt there I want it cheap.
Is $100 a good price for an orgigall oil painting 12x16 for this guys art:

I really like it but if I can find as good but cheaper please tell me, ever better point me to the artist. I'm looking for real media semi realistic/fantasy, or cartoonish/tatoo/graffiti style.

That's definitely a good price. Most oil painters I found go for around $300-500

Now it just feels stupid. :/ Also the site is'nt finished yet I need to ad text to the picture and re-size them more smothly (click two times for full view without the pixlyness).
