Haaiii Some good news finally! Saw a specialist finally and got my surgery set for the summer with a date closer to the time  I hope it does come together because I wasn't looking forward to spending the couple thousand I saved to pay for it, with any luck I can just shove it in something high interest. Omg that's awful Rydia, I'm glad you peeps are all safe, you have had almost every possible extreme weather event possible in the last year. I hope all that subsides and you guys all get a chance to rebuild, maybe the town can look at some serious defences. We gotta do the absolute most with the Welsh coast in places to stop houses from sliding into the sea. My town gets floods when there is really bad rain but where I live is up on a high hill near a castle from 50AD, if that's made it this long, hopfully the house will do similar xp Still just playing Skyrim in my off time, level 23 so far, my quest log is sooo long. I just talk to every NPC possible whenever I discover a new location so I always have something to do. Haven't had to resort to radiant Ai quests yet, although I will probably have to eventually. productive day but not much time for fun. settling down now for some of the new wow cata dungeons tonite. went to other house in town to meat the realtors who have a client they're showing our house too. they work for a client not for us. client made offer too low. which we told them it was first. but the realtor had their mentor with them.. (the realtor's rather new i worked with him at mcd's 10 yrs ago good guy) and she loved the place and the size and how clean it was sooo. here's to hoping they find someone else who is looking for one like that..
but we're gonna have to start asking for proof of pre approval with bank for right price range. otherwise we're wasting their time much as they're wasting ours right?
anywho drove mom up to that and back cuz another snowstorm tomorrow.. glord winter can piss off. stay warm friends!

Yeah that makes sense, it's worth quickly establishing that they are good for it otherwise they just jerk you around for ages and try to tire you out into accepting a lowball offer.
Hope the storm isn't too bad, idk whats up with that US weather, front page of news there's a new event every few weeks it seems neutral
Works been real quiet which is fine because we are preparing for the spring summer launch soon and goddamn it's like half of the things we sell are gonna disappear, I hope the new stuff is pretty cause I got a hankering for some new gold thing.
Spent the evening so far going through one of my notebooks with corrective tape where I struck out mistakes previously, just blank them and rewrite it, it's been so satisfying to do, it's like I am de-cluttering my brain itself.

yay for calm days at work. i slept in cuz i'll be up late keeping fire going with this subborn a** wood. roads are slick and lil bit of snow on ground so far.
got new dungeons and a new raid on wow so gotta get buncha dungeons on 3 toons done tonite. good to have new things to do.
i keep thinking of starting up streaming again someday. i could stream just sims when im bored. maybe someday soon!

Howdy! getting the morning gogo going. snowed in still. everyones home safe tho. bro keeps getting off work from weather but is on salary which is awesome!
bout to hit up some wows. just chill day. starting day with super salad. walnuts, avacados, sweet onion, pineapple, shake n bake chicken i chopped up, baby spinach and arugula letuce (sp?) blueberries and some ranch. nom!

another day another dollar! not rly lol. still snowing. not amounting to much but still cold af.
my sims off grid house is set up with amish inspiration and its pretty awesome. i listen to alot of amish books and did it up based on what ive read. i got cow and mini goats and chickens and a horsey and everything off the grid in the house. pretty cool! whole streets gonna be off grid. still need to do a skyrim house and a tent campground and a cabin. then there's one more spot for some other off grid inspired house. not sure what yet. the retro item event is pretty cool. you're chasing a time traveler and you end up with retro items. w/e works
but for now i gotta catch up some gear on wow cata. have a fabulous friday! if i manage to get thru keeping pipes from freezing tonite i might be done with the worst of winter. hits 10 F tonite but doesnt show under 20 at nite after tonite thru first week of march.
spring.. im rdy for ya this year!

Hope you're still keeping warm through the snow in, glad they did that for the bro tbh they better. Job market is so competitive rn and there's such a shortage of skilled labour.
Best to keep paying someone through smth like this otherwise you could lose them to another place and potentially hire an idiot as a replacement.
I'm trying to be healthier too atm but that usually equates to replacing a really bad meal with a Huel. Gotta get that fiber and protein for the grains and gains.
Been exercising but not as much as I'd like, trying to focus on consistency over intensity so I can form the habit of doing it without even thinking about it.
New collection came in to work today and I HATE it lmao, it's just slimmer versions of a bunch of stuff I guess to have a more affordable price?
Idk personally I'd just save up a bit longer for the big pretty thing rather than buy a slimmed down cheaper version sooner. To each their own xp
Yaaay more Sims! I had to show my friend a bunch of PCs earlier that had a spec capable of playing Sims 3, I was like cmon that game is old now the bar ain't that high, idk tho because they have updated it to work with more modern PCs. I spent that time obsessing over Sims Castaway because my PC couldn't run it either when it came out lol.
Bring on the spring! I'm so over spending hundreds to keep the house at a livable temperature.

mornin! i'm late getting to it. i went down a skyrim hole. i picked up farming for the special edition i had. even tho who knows when i'll get time to play it but it and witcher 3 are dl'd cuz i need to have 500 irons in the fire lol rofl
might have sucked my bf back into playing them too cuz he was getting in on the hype muhahaha! pirate
its thawed out now! no more pipe freezing nites! no more staying up all nite keeping fire .. probably!
gl on teh healthy eating we went all off the rails over the holidays and never got back on altho bro drug mom to a heart health free screening fair yesterday and she's gonna follow up with dr so maybe they'll straighten up. if they dont bring cheese and junk in house like they have been i wont go out to buy it and be fine.
ff14 party tonite for 5 year anniversary for guild being around. if ppl show. ppl dont always show up to the cutesy events sometimes its a hit and miss.
i learned what huel was today. consider me informed.

we had the cutest little 5 year otterversary party for my otter chaos guild on ff14 last nite. bout 10 or 11 ppl showed. bout 8 stayed for a few hrs of games coop dungeons and events. was suprised! sometimes noone shows up for events. guess the stars lined up! was a hoot! feeling good vibes today!
might be headed to other house to help finish all these unending things mom wants to finish on house. the bro should be going up today to help which would make the work alot faster. he motivates her more than i do lol
getting chores caught up early so im rdy to roll. then if she puts it off. i'm rdy to game. its a win win. its so nice not having to keep a fire. its rly much milder out this weekend.

Happy Sunday!
Absolute deluge the last 2 days, wind and rain so strong it broke the seals on the windows in my work, now there's water constantly coming in.
It's eased off this evening and my home is totally ok so big win there xp
Omg I literally just use Skyrim as an escapist life sim at this point, spent all yday evening just growing alchemy ingredients, brewing potions, then travel around selling them. Built the house in Hearthfire over the last 2 days, might go for all 3 plots of land, just have a mansion in every hold.
Noticed a lot of ppl also getting back into Skyrim to get all hyped for TES: 6, I am not building any expectations for that, it would have to be the most graceful return to form we've ever seen.
Especially since they have spent the last 5 years slowly destroying their other existing IPs to the point now no fans are happy with anything.
Yeahhh I get that with the other people in house and food, my health kick got the brakes slammed on it the other night because bf surprised me with a fry up dinner, not that I can complain because it was stunning whee
I'm so lazy when it comes to making food that Huel just works for me, it's largely used by gym rats for extra bulk and protein, I use it because it's crammed with every essential vitamin and lots of fiber. Everything I need to not die.
I wish the powders tasted like the ready to drink versions though, the banana powder is ROUGH.
Gl on getting the unending list of house things done, hopefully she never wants to add an awning or a granny pod to the back whee
I'm off for 2 days now but I really gotta catch up on the chores too, time to actually vaccum lmao

o lord dont give mom ideas on anything else to add to that fuggin out lol
and holy crap that sux on the rain glad ya ok! but oh no on the water! we are getting so many freaking leaks in roof on this house we gotta get a new roof or shingles redone soon as the other sells.. whenever the other sells. mantra we've repeated for going on a decade now. its brain breaking how long its taking.
and hell ya i'd eat a fry dinner if someone made it for me too! and lol on the huel i lived off of ensure heath drinks a while in college so i get it! it indeeds keeps one from unliving!
i just started missing skyrim after watching and listening to a well done vid on youtube of all sorts of pretty views inside the game with the in game music. i was like.. i'd rather be there than irl lol so.. i never tried the revamped graphics.. its on the backburner next time i'm rdy to start a new escape! and i never finished witcher 3 and it had a graphics overhaul. figure good to have 2 worlds rdy to run away to!

pretty out today. not sure if we're going out to work on other house or not. low on gas til payday so might get out of it a bit till later in week. supposed to hit 50 today. yay!
trying not to think alot with news and then bro got mom to go with him to a free heart screening fair. they're concerned about her cholesterol and the ekg showed not definitely that she may have had a heart attack in the passed. altho they said lotion could have messed up the results so she'll go to an actual dr in march to get checked up on. they gave her a med for the cholesterol but they've done that years ago and she keeps not taking it. she gets her flu and all the vaccines she needs but you show her crestor and lipitor and she runs for the hills saying she can do it with exercise and food.
we have hereditary cholesterol in my family tho. im sure she needs to take the dang meds but. she's putting it off till my yearly checkup to see what my numbers are since they put me on it last year.. then she'll come up with another reason i figure.
tough when you have a resilient smart parent who takes pretty good care of themselves so is rly reluctant when it comes to having to take a med likely for good to even out stuff. ive worried for a few years now. her dad passed mid 50s and her mom around 67. a year older than she is now. but they didnt like going to dr's alot either. well it was hard with money back then too. my bro told me a friend of ours had a mother who had a bad heart attack today and may not make it. worries my bro about mom. my bro is oblivious to health stuff so if he's seeing signs to worry it concerns me more.
just a lil rant. sorry for the downer. at least today we're all here and the weathers nice. i try to just enjoy the day each day so i'll stick with that best i can!

Ayoooo Started getting caught up on chores, bf was WFH today so he pitched in too which helped us clear a lot I think the same happened to me tbh my YT algorithm started spitting Elder Scrolls lore videos at me and I dove back in, got sick of the true crime bodycam stuff the videos are just too damn long. Aww man I have had the Witcher in my library for years but it doesn't hold your hand at all, ik ppl like that but sometimes I'm just tired and can't remember what someone said in dialogue 20 mins ago so never played too much of it, maybe some day lol That sucks with the mom thing, mine is the same she got a heart prob and high blood pressure but still smokes and salts food, oh and drinks like a sailor. We've tried for years as a family to get her to change a few things but she's just stubborn as all hell and feels entitled to every vice. Your situation is different though, sounds like she can be reasoned with if she is doing a lot to keep herself healthy anyway, hopefully you guys can find a way to just get her to take the damn pill. Hit her over the head with one of those clinical trails that show efficacy with like a thousand participants. She can always stop if she gets side effects and if that rly doesn't work out there's alterantives for like every med ever now, it's annoying trial and error but you can get there Rain finally stopped and the ground is dry again, gonna have to fix the outside drains tho as they now have 1/3 of an entire tree in them basically Hope the day is good to all! heart

glad ya drying out and dang that sucks on trees in drains gotta fix that b4 next storm.
and ya i feel ya with your mom. got an uncle like that. doesnt smoke but loves his chewing tobacco and beer and i slike 67 just about daily alchy his own life i donno how he keeps going. i heard he's starting to dry out voluntarily i'd say at this point choosing to be sober is almost a novelty as long as he hasnt been lol. he's held down mechanics jobs (its a small town they just know him) and fixes everyones s**t and takes care of himself but getting old enough now that i guess its finally not as much fun and he's been going nuts going in stores and farmers markets and squeezing produce and getting big into cooking.
weird cuz noone was ever able to inspire this change. this just happened at random. dang. moms 66 so i guess he's 68 actually. i hope he sticks with it and has a few more normal healthy years. who knows. rest of family all struggle with heart and diabetes issues, rheumatoid arthritis o we're a mess lol..
but mom was always the healthiest one among them. grandma and grandpa had no vices except home cooking and mom learned as she got to how old i am now that she had to learn to cook a lil diff. she never smoked or drank so that helps but the family history of heart stuff isnt something she can fully helathy lifestyle out of so. she'll have a journey to take. i just support and try not to push too hard but i do at least for the statins.
i cant remember s**t on witcher 3 either lol i'll have to restart it and i get lost af lol but i wanna check out the graphics overhaul. probably hit skyrim first tho. shoulder is wrecked this week tho i musta slept wrong or overdone it or just woken up and for that life was like FEWK YOOO TAKE THIS and gnomes stabbed my shoulder who knows.. but avoiding raiding and dungeoning this week and no more fake guitar.. did that last nite. fun but boy howdy dumb now that its hurting lol.. some farming herbs and minerals on wow today i think will do.
oh well its pretty outside and everyones still kicking and the world is still here atm so imma just enjoy the day!
