Sapphire_Sorceress75 I thought it might be nice to have a birthday list, I would be willing to keep track of it, and help out, I think it's nice to let everyone know that their special on their birthday biggrin This would only work if everyone was willing to send a pm with their birthday though, and I understand if you don't want to give out that information. What does everyone else think? I figure if they don't wanna give out their date, then they give up the chance for birthday greetings. I like the idea, however it's something that needs to be carefully watched over by someone committed. Missing someone's birthday because you are too busy or forgot or just got bored of the deal would be so mean. (not that I'm suggesting anyone would do such a thing, but it's not unreasonable to imagine that someone might not have time to send out upwards of 300 birthday greetings in a year (not that I expect the list would get that long in any way. razz )(damn I love brackets.).)

It just so happens that we did have a thread like that. It was created by our Slytherin Head Angilwingz ages ago. (I actually had my name on it! I can't even remember it though) It's locked and inside the Tomb right now. Now I'm not sure what happened to make it close down, but I'm sure that Angil will see this post soon and she can offer her views on it. Perhaps you can help her re-open it if that's what she wants.
I commend you on trying to get involved!
EDIT: Well I went down to the thread and read some of it, and Angil's reason for cutting it down seemed fair enough. Members don't stay around long enough for it. Another suggestion would be maybe to open a thread in the Discussion subforum about birthdays. It's the length of it all that we'd have to worry about.

Umm... so End of Term...?
Personally I liked the idea of Valentine Telegrams! That sounds great. . The name is so cute! Remember that one Harry got? icon_rofl.gif *seriously needs to edit that PM I'm sending*
We can add an incentive to that thing that says for an extra fee Adonis sends out your Telegram.
The whole gift giving anonymous thing will help out lots with the Telegram. A gift needs to be sent too. Of course they wouldn't want to ruin someone's Valentine's Day.
I also love the whole Bachelor Auction thing. It's really creative, and I'm glad you thought of it. That's something that I really want to do. However the issue of time comes up with me. I think that time will be an issue here too. It's simply too short of a notice to do that right now. However since Term will be ending soon (gotta check the calendar and add 7 days to that) I think this will be perfect for the break we have. I also think it'd keep interest in while the next term is set up.

I was supposed to post this before Valentine's Day, but I was not on sad I am going to post anyways!
We should hold an event in a few weeks to celebrate spring and the end of term... cool
It wouldn't quite be an Easter event or anything just maybe a May Day or Beltane (sort of an equivalent to May Day) Feast? ^_^

The end of term is a little too early in the year for Easter or St. Paddy's or May Day...
Would just a more general sort of event work at all?
I can't think of anything just now, though. Tired, and I swear all of my teachers are realizing just how close the end of the year is all at once now. Never had to bring home so many books before...

What happened to everyone?
ALUTIAN, ANGILWINGZ, JUNIMAIA, MISS LOVE TANTEI, and of course everyone else who has contributed
I was just looking through the subforums like I always do, not really enough time to do posting
but anyway I was looking at them and I noticed just how active they are.
Does it please you guys to know that all of our hard work and determination is really paying off??
People enjoy what we've worked hard to make sure they did. It does for me. I tell you guys I'm a sucker. I just like to see when work pays off, it makes everything worthwhile. Even if it's pixelated
Let's make Spring Term 08 better (not bigger, I don't think I can take anything larger than this)

We'll do the Secret Heart thing, pending title, for End of Term. We have to set up now. I know who to depend on to help get this thing started. I would prefer if we had the Entrance Hall, a game, and the Secret Heart thing. I'll began the official preparations for that thread. I waited until Angil's event was over to do so.
What type of prizes??

There's a bunch of prizes we could give if it has to do with the heart...especially with the cash shop items such as:
*The roses
*Sweetheart Teddy Bears
*Grace of Aphrodite
*Eros
*Cupid
Other things like:
*Magical Girl (MC)
The prizes are limitless...

I want to say this really quick:
There are a lot of events on hold currently,
and they are:
KT's Birthday Bash (perhaps, May?)
Juni's idea of an "Auction" (great idea, hopefully our next after Start of Term)
and an idea I just came up with that would involve each House as a team. Hopefully that can be our Start of Term (yay!) Just throwing that out ther ebefore i forget
@Love: Yesh and unfortunately so our the prices.
Any other ideas, besides the Ball Room/Great Hall?
Maybe some kind of a game? Cupid's Arrows maybe lol?

Actually the guild has plenty of gold for at least one of those items, I don't know what I was thinking!
Besides if we get the Auction idea panned out that'll be a great way to make some more gold for even better prizes. I realize we're supposed to spend the gold not save it.
