Nitro sat there on a rock, staring at Mt. Ember with Mike. I wonder when we are going to visit home again... He said to no one in particular.
I wonder when I'm going to evolve... Proton diliberatly said outloud, hoping for a little attention.

The first four battles were fairly easy, Ryka using mostly Thunder, since Aura was half-asleep. She walked down the bridge some more until the last trainer saw her.
"Getting tired yet?" The trainer asked as he brought out a Pokeball.
"No, not really." Ryka replied. "Go on, Aura." She had to nudge the little Eevee into the battle.
"Come on, Nidoran!" He threw the sphere, and a male Nidoran came out with a battle cry. "Poison sting!" He tilted his head, and started to run, pointing his horn at Aura.
"Aura, dodge it, and tackle him." Aura stepped out of the way just in time, and tackled the Nidoran, right into the river.
"Nidoran!" The boy yelled as he ran over to the edge of the bridge. "You win.." He said in an angry voice. It trailed off as he fell in after his Pokemon. Ryka put her hand out and pulled himup, then followed the bridge to the end, where a large man was standing.
"I think I'm going to have to get stronger trainers here.." He muttered as Ryka approached. "Good job. Here's a Nugget for you. Now, you have to battle me!" He said, retrieving a Pokeball out of his coat. He threw it on the ground, and a fierce-looking Mankey emerged from the flash.
"Alright! This is more like it! Go, Au-" She noticed the Eevee was asleep again. Ryka picked her up and put her on her backpack. "Go, Thunder!" Thunder was wide awake, and eager for a battle.

Tony and his pokemon moved off to a small clearing off that was out of the way and surrounded by high hedges. "Allright this looks like a good place to do some training." Tony said as he looked around the area. He instructed Weed to get in the middle of the area and for Alucard and Phoenix to get on either side of him. "Allright, Alucard and Phoenix I want you guys to do your best to attack Weed. Weed I don't want you to attack just try to avoid all of there attacks." Tony said but noticed that Weed wasn't really paying attention to him. "Weed? Are you even paying attention to me?" He asked and went over to the small pokemon who's attention seemed to be on the ground.
"Oddish odd!" Weed exclaimed as he came over and motioned with one of his leaves to a darkblue disk on the ground. A suprised look came over Tony's face as he recognized it as TM 12. Reaching down he picked up the disk and looked at it happily glad that it hadn't been used yet.
He smiled happily at Weed and ruffled the leaves on his head a bit. "Wow, Weed. You found us a TM! Great job. You did hear my instructions though right?" Tony asked and Weed nodded that he had. "Allright then let me just step out of the way and you guys can begin." That said he went off to the side.

Once there trainer was out of the way Phoenix imediatly charged at Weed in an attempt to pull off a scratch attack. Weed simply danced out of the way sending Phoenix skidding across the ground when she missed the attack. Alucard was floating above trying to sense an opertune time to attack. Seeing an opening he dived down and tried to hit Weed with an Astonish attack. Seeing the attack a bit late Weed made an attempt to dodge and was just barely clipped by the attack Brushing the weak attack off Weed shook himself off and jumped to the side in time to avoid another scratch attack preformed by Phoenix.

"Go, Mankey, throw a chop at it!" The man said in an irritating voice. The Mankey started up a Karate Chop that seemed to be as fierce as the look on it's face.
"Thunder, thundershock!" Thunder let a small shock of lightning out of it's cheeks that tingled Mankey's body. But the Mankey, although shaking with electricty, hit Thunder on the head with a chop. "Pikaaa..." Thunder cried as he rubbed his head. He was very agitated now. His eyes slid into slits, and he ran over at lightning speed to Mankey, who he scratched on the face. The Mankey also seemed to be getting irritated, and ran over to throw Thunder into the river. But Thunder jumped up, landing on a surprised Mankey's head, and used a Thundershock, knocking the Mankey into the river. "Umm, good job..?" Ryka said.
"Ugh! Mankey! Hrr, you're good.. Would you wanna join Team Rocket?" The man said, trying his best to get a smile on his face.
"Uhh, no. Thanks anyway." Ryka replied while walking past him. Thunder sparked his cheeks at the Mankey, then ran ahead of Ryka to a closed off ledge where Tony was training.

Portabello had not taken intrest in idle chit chat, and positioned itself amidst the ocean waves, standing with his back to the water. Shiver, help me out will ya?
Nodding, Shiver swam out and used surf, creating massive waves, each crashing down on the Breloom. Portabello winched in pain, but kept his composure as each aquatic attack slammed into him.
Man, that Breloom is nuttier than a Spinda. Chuckled Titanium as he slithered over to Nitro, who had just recently broken out of his daydream.
The Charmeleon looked up at his friend and just smiled. Yeah...

Ryka followed Thunder, stumbling into the area, finding Tony training. "Hey there." She smiled, but she saw something shine. It was another small disc. It was white, and it said 'T.M. 45' on it. "I'm just finding these all over the place. I'm gonna sort them out, mabye use some too." She said to herself as she walked over to Tony. She stood next to him and watched his Pokemon train.

The rain only became worse as the girls continued surfing. They each held onto their Pokemon, almost for dear life, as the waves rocked up and down and all around.
Sabrina became a little nervous as the ride became more difficult. "How much longer do you think we have before we get there?" she asked, somehwat loudly, as the wind began to pick up. Nina yelled, "Not much longer! Maybe ten minutes or so!" Granted, they were surfing beside one another, but the wind's speed and howling drowned out their voices.
After what felt like hours, Nina, Sabrina, Cupcake, and Regal arrived at Cianwood City. The girls immediately thereafter made a mad dash to the Pokemon Center.

Kasiya stared up at the sky as she stroked Seto's soft fur. For once her mind was completely blank, and she felt completely indifferent. It was something she wasn't used to, but she liked it, just pretending like nothing else mattered in the world.
Meanwhile, Ariel was having a wonderful time in the water, meeting and greeting all sorts of other water types. Shocker had curled up at the end of the log by her trainer's head, and was dozing peacefully. Growly was still trying to dig his way into the center of the earth, and Fang was nowhere to be seen, but it was safe to assume the green Golbat was off on some sort of hunting excursion.

Glancing over at his friend, Mike shot an angelic smile at Kasiya. "Having a nice day dream?" He asked with a small laugh.
Titanium had left Nitro and became Growly's personal bulldozer, picking up mass quantities of sand and gravel and dumping them aside. Within five or six mouthfulls, the Steelix had dug a much deeper hole than the Growlithe.
Proton was not in his happy place, for he was being chased by Fang. What do you want from me?! He yelled as he fired random lightning bolts at Fang, praying to knock him out of orbit.
Portabello had stopped his 'training' and now took up residence on Shiver's 'head'. Away stallion! He laughed as he pointed forward, mocking a pirate.
Yes sir! Shiver took off like a jet ski, zooming around as fast as his bivalve body could take him.
Nitro walked back over to Mike's side and gently hugged his leg, a little tired, or dazed.

"It's hard to daydream when your mind is blank," she replied softly. She breathed in the salty air, and was reminded of home again. I can't put it off forever, she told herself. Even though it hasn't even been a day yet, I have to return soon. I will win my third badge, and then my fourth. No one will hold me back. I will become the next Champion of Kanto. She smiled to herself and sat up, setting the sleepy Meowth next to Shocker. She stretched, and watched the Pokemon a bit before noticing Fang's hot pursuit of Proton. "Leave Proton alone, Fang!" Kasiya scolded him. He glanced over at her on a fly-by, and stuck his huge tongue out at her, only to receive a faceful of electricity as one of Proton's wild attacks hit him. Kasiya shook her head and recalled the flailing Golbat as he spiraled towards the ground. "You had it coming," she told the Pokeball, and put it away.

Laughing at the silly Golbat, Mike called out "Good job Proton! I'm sure he will think twice of messing with you again!"
The Magnemite fluttered around happily, doing some sort of dance. "Magnee!" It's synthesized robotic cried out.
Mike looked up at the setting sun. "So beautiful, one day ends, another begins, only to bring more adventure and fun. Isn't life grand?" He planted his arms at his hips and smiled.

"Something like that," Kasiya smiled, and walked over to the water again. The small waves kissed her toes, and she sighed happily. "The Hoenn Region is so beautiful," she said. "More so than I'd imagined it to be. I'd really like to stay here and adventure around with you some more...." she trailed off, not really wanting to finish. Growly gave an indignant snort to Titanium and padded over to his trainer, and sat next to her, the waves brushing against him lightly. He looked up at her, his eyes full of loyalty. "You're wonderful," she told the Growlithe, and patted his head.

"I know, isn't it magnificent...I've roamed this place all my life and I still am surprised by it's beauty." Mike gave Kasiya a kindhearted smile, "Kasiya...I...I'm glad you're here with me."
Nitro nodded in agreement, letting out a happy. "Char." I really like you too Kasiya.
