Shadow chuckled a deep baritone duplicate of Ka'rinth's. You'll what child? Go berserk and absorb my magic and souls again? I'm far stronger than before. You'll have to absorb nearly 5 times the number of souls and each is vile and covered in filth to stain your own. But wait your own is among them. Think on the darkness of your soul that even now is serving my whims and tell me again you won't kill him. Now child would you like me to speed things along? I could collapse the dojo on your son or you can try and stop me and become a blood thirsty beast that will do the job for me.
As Shadow spoke he moved back and forth in time to his words. His eyes were glowing and he widened the link between 9 and him so that she could feel the vileness of the thousands of souls crowded around her own. He then closed the link and smiled. Now let's come to an understanding child. I'm back and Wolf, while still alive, will no longer come to your or anyone elses rescue. So I'm telling you that all here will be my victims just as the poor souls of Enid were yours. Burnt to nothingness by YOU in your attempt to destroy me. Fear the powers locked within you as you fear the darkness of your soul. For they will serve me eventually much as your soul does now. Shadow's voice never showed any emotion not even his prior lust for power as he spoke. It was only cold, cruel, and matter of fact.

Shadow chuckled again as 9 ran. He then turned his attentions towards the others that were present. Well if I'm denied my intended victim for the moment I'll just have to play with you two. I promise to be gentle. With that Shadow turned to face Heswina and Dantrag and as he did he cracked his neck and summoned a quarterstaff from the floor to his right hand. He held the staff horizontally across his body as he waited.

"Tch...souls...how stupid." Heswina pushed a few strands of her golden hair behind her head as she slowly walked over towards the door, "I got Soul's spirit...Xol will be mine sortly and Truinthil...well...he wont be needed for long." Heswina scrubbed an idle hand along the smooth metal texture of her new armor, the ruinic carvings were as if silk. "Bluffing is pointless Shadow, if you were going to use your strengths to kill her, why haven't you done it yet? You're simply leaving loose ends to trip you as you continue along your path..."

Heswina put her hand back on her hip, golden hair flowed down her shoulders, "I am an archer...you'd kill me, rather quickly, in hand to hand combat..."

Shadow laughed at the short sightedness of Heswina and replied simply as he began to focus. I won't kill 9. I plan to make her suffer. I grow stronger from people's pain. As I will from yours since you decided to tell me your weakness in hand to hand.
Without another word Shadow moved his staff so that it was vertical and channeled his earth magic. The stairs warped and formed a wall between Heswina and the upper floors even as the door warped to become one with the wall. Shadow then shot a dozen small one inch darts of wood from the middle of his quarter staff at Heswina's face.

A light pink aura flared around Heswina for a split second, if it were any faster no one would have caught it. The darts were surrounded by a light red light and simply stopped in the mid of air. "Shadow...hmmm." Heswina's eyes focused on Shadow, her eyes boreing holes in his skull as she develed into his mind, searching.

As Heswina's mind touched Shadow's it would also touch the minds of 10,000 screaming orcs and two thousand screaming humans. All of whom would attempt to invade her mind and force her to see thier deaths, feel their pain, and live it with them. Shadow himself was deep in this malestrom unreachable without first dealing with the mass of swirling madness that surrounded him and attempted to pull all it touched inward. As Shadow felt this he opened his soul void which would apply a steady pressure to those around his bodies souls. It would constantly pull at thier souls trying to tear them from their bodies. The force would grow the closer one got to him and the weaker thier bodies became.

Heswina's eyes gave a bright shine as the weapons on the racks were suddenly surrounded by the light red light Shadow's darts were. Heswina's mind races as she lashed out, striking down the thoughts and emotions of a countless number of monsters! She had lost count of how many she had fended off. If she kept this up she was going to kill herself...The image of an orc sprang into her view as it began to show her how it died, pain writhered through her body as arrows pincushioned (spelling?) the orcs body. Rage fuled her next strike, she lashed out at the orc who dared to invade her mind. She struck against the feeble mental barrier that all living creatures had and crushed it, the beasts spirit and mind became null as it floated in a sea of other monsters, all crying and shouting in pain. A shockwave exploded from Heswina's body as the weapons from the racks were suddenly lifted into the air. Swords, axes, maces, spears, parastines, arrows, shields, anything and everything that was propped up on or near the rack suddenly came to life and floated in the air around Heswina. This mismatched gaggle of weapons became a sort of invisible army to protect her body.

Shadow chuckled as he watched the weapons float around her. She would now have to fight her way out of his head just to keep her sanity. He said in a low voice as the weapons circled her lashing out at that which was only present in her mind and his. You shouldn't look into other's heads without asking. Had you made it to me and not just those around me you would have found something far worse than anything they can show you. I took the name Shadow long ago to represent the darkness within my mind. I've existed for decades within that darkness feeding it and growing stronger. If you ever dare to touch my mind again I'd like to leave you with a sample of what will happen.
With that Shadow forced the soul of a man that he had driven insane by showing a fraction of what dwelled within his mind. The image that it would show Heswina would be one of a shadowy wolf that was somehow darker than any shadow with eyes far blacker than it's body, stalking her through unending ally's never staying in one place. And then each time she stopped it would rip her body to pieces and as her spirit fled it would chase that and rip it to pieces. The scene would repeat over and over again seemingly unending until she destroyed the soul that was it's carrier.
