Kikyo smiled gently to the little girl before standing up. "I was going to have all the little ones stay in here with me until the fighting was over, but since it's all over now I think you would be safe, and much happier, with your parents on deck."

dragon_fire_313 Temari soon pulled back, her tears landing on his face as she held him close to her. "Inuyasha, no. You can't leave me, please. I love you." She whispered to him before she leaned down and touched her lips to his own, closing her eyes as she did so, not wanting to say 'good-bye' just yet.
Dr cox sighed "Look if your not ganna take this serious, then ill just have to gas you for the next two days ok?" he said as he turned to his machinery and checked her heart rate again.

Oomizu looked to Doctor Cox in an annoyed manor before sighing and smirking slightly. "I am being serious. Dead serious, really. I'm serious when I say "I'll be fine. I just need some food, something to drink, a nice bath, and sleep and I'll be good as new." I don't need to go to Intensive Care, and I seriously won't put up with being in there. I need to be ready to get up and help when they need me, and it'll be hard to do that if you stick n-needles in my arm with unneeded ibuprofen in my system." Hopefully Cox wouldn't catch her stuttering the word needles and realize that was mainly why she didn't want to be taken care of. Gosh, how she hated needles. She couldn't stand them in the least. She then pointed to Inuyasha. "He died, and now he's perfectly fine. If some one can die and then be A OK, then I think a little electrocution's not going to really cause that big a problem, especially since I electrocute myself all the time."

Temari blinked her eyes open as she felt a strange pulsating energy escape from her lips and ravaged Inuyasha's body for a moment. She then pulled back and just stared to him, watching his heart slowly begin to beat once more in tune with the soft breaths he took. "Inuyasha..." She breathed with a light smile, tears continuing to flow freely. She then fell back on top of him, crying into his chest as she held him close to her. "Please, please don't ever leave me... ever again. Please Inuyasha. Promise me.." She whispered from his chest, gripping onto him tightly now.

((FFFFFFFFUUUU- I missed a lot yesterday. >.< Okay, here's my trying to catch up post.))
Etna had a few scrapes here and there, but was otherwise uninjured. Strange the robots never really targeted her when she was the one causing so many explosions... Well, the battle was over, so it was time to head back to the ship and re... lax... The demon girl lost her train of thought seeing Temari and Inuyasha. She hated the idea of losing just a friend... With the kinds of dangers in this place and the kinds of beings in this group, she'd have to be careful not to get too close to anyone...
Hotstreak, meanwhile, was currently sitting in the grass, gripping his shoulder, and saying more swears at once than Gear had heard in the past few months, or so. A bullet had grazed here and there, but one had managed to tear a hole in roughly the center of his left shoulder.
Gear, on the other hand, had been up above most of the shooting. He had a few scrapes, but nothing had connected with him like it had with the older metahuman. He landed near him, concerned, and could only think to ask, "A-are you alright?"
"The hell are you, blind or some s**t!?" the normally relatively clean-mouthed redhead shot back. "There's a damn hole in my damn shoulder, genius! No, I am not alright!"
"Oh, shut up," the younger blond sighed, shaking his head. "It looks like a pretty clean hole... Can you move it?"
Caught off-guard by the normally high-strung teenager acting so calm and cool, Hotstreak blinked. Now curious himself, he moved his arm a little. "s**t!" he hissed, stopping immediately. "Yeah, I can move it, but it hurts like a son of a b***h!"
"Weren't you supposed to be a tough guy? Quit whining," Gear chastized. "Some gauze, maybe a few stitches, and you'll be just fine."
"Quit whining!?" the former gang leader repeated, sounding offended. "I'd like to see you get shot and not scream like a little b***h!"
"I have been shot before, thank you very much. I didn't start throwing a temper tantrum while cussing up a storm, either. Now hold still a minute; I've got some gauze on me, I'll wrap you up real quick 'til we can get you to the doctor on the ship," he replied, being handed a roll of gauze by Backpack.
"...Doctor?"
The battle won, Kain saw no point in staying on the battlefield. He made his way calmly back to the ship, more or less ignoring everyone around him.
Jack couldn't believe it. He had been right there, and still Oomizu had gotten hurt... Gotten hurt badly... He made his way back to the ship in an almost trance-like state, hand over his face. Nina being... so burtally attacked... Oomizu and Kikyo getting kidnapped... and now his goddaughter in critical condition... Not a one of them he had been able to do anything about! What good was all this power if the people he cared most about kept getting hurt...? He couldn't even follow after Oomizu once she was brought to the ship. How was it he could be so strong, yet still so useless...?
((WALL OF TEXT. Gear and Hostreak make me laugh. xd ))

Inuyasha smiled as he looked at Temari "Dont worry, i dont plan on going anywhere Temari" he said as he hugged her close
Dr Cox sighed "Ok ill make you a deal. if you can just stay here and rest for at the least One day, then i wont poke you with needles" he grinned "but if you cant then ill have to keep you here longer and ill have to stick IVs, and other sort of needles to keep you stable"
Minato sighed as he looked around at the chaos that was the battle field. it was littered with machines and parts and everything. he then noticed the damage to the ship. "I take it we wont be leaving this place any time soon untill the ship is repaired right?" he said pointing out the holes and damage to the ship. "We should use the debris from the field to fix the ship up before it starts rusting over and such" he suggested

"That I can do!" Jack declared, turning right around to climb back down and survey the damage. This was exactly what he needed; a menial task to take his mind off of things that just so happened to be useful. Perfect. "Jack-Bots! Start dragging the scrap over here. I'll sort through what I can and can't use while working," he ordered, his robots appearing from nowhere and giving an obedient salute before zooming off to do as they were told.
"I'll help you, soon as I get Hotstreak to the medical ward!" Gear called over his shoulder, wrapping up the older metahuman's shoulder as the man continued to string swear after swear together. "Really, are you even speaking English, anymore?"
"a*****e! You ain't takin' me to some god damned doctor!" the redhead hissed, glaring daggers at the blond, who chose that particular moment to pull the bandages tighter. "SUNUVABITCH!!! Aaarrrrgh... You did that on purpose, you d**k!"
Etna chuckled, able to hear nearly all of what was being said between the two "metahumans." "Those two are hilarious~" she noted, putting the idea of loss out of her mind.

Temari smiled as she was hugged close. She continued to hold onto him tightly as she cried into his chest, this time crying tears of happiness. "Thank you Inuyasha, thank you so much." She whispered to him from his chest, through shaky breaths.
Hitomi decided to be useful as well and help out Jack with his little 'project'. She used her telekinesis powers to lift a great quantity of scrap metal, it using up a lot of her mental power to keep the connection strong. She then turned slowly on her heel before placing the rather large pile upon the spot where he designated them to go. She panted softly as she cracked her neck, glancing at Hotstreak and Gear with a sigh. "Oi! Quit being such a baby Hotstreak! I got shot too but you don't hear me griping about it!" She called over to him with a slight pout, referring to the wound that had inflicted itself upon her upper thigh, making it a tad difficult for her to walk correctly.
Kirara made her way over to Etna, hopping onto the railing beside her as she looked over at Hotstreak and Gear as well, giggling to herself now. "Hm, they really are." She said to the indigo-haired demon with a light grin. "And how are you fairing Queen Etna?" She asked her, using her title respectfully.

"Sheesh its like Jumpie and Yukari fighting. well at least its entertaining" Minato said not really certain on who was listening.
Inuyasha smiled and nodded "Come on lets get out of here, everyone is going back to the ship anyways' he said as he struggled to get up

Oomizu looked and saw Jack. Gosh, he looked like he had gone through hell and back, and she knew why, too. That said, Oomizu honestly didn't care what Doctor Cox had to say. At this point, he could shove it. Oomizu had to make Jack feel better and show him there was nothing wrong with her. That said, she quickly sat up, making sre not to let any of the pain show as she did so, and turned so she could hop off the bed. "I said I'm fine. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go make sure everyone's alright. Thank you, Dr. Cox."

"Baby!?" Hotstreak repeated, incredulous. Gear had to pull the bandages tighter again at that moment, eliciting another angry shout. "Damn it, enough!" he decided, aiming a punch at the younger male's midsection.
The unexpected attack caught Gear right in the stomach, sending him back with an "ough." "Hey, what was that for!?" he demanded. "I was helping you!"
"Forget your damn bandaids and doctors! I'll just cauter-whatsit myself!"
"Cauterize!? Wait, don't!" Gear tried to warn, but it was too late. Hotstreak shouted through gritted teeth, holding a fireball up to his own shoulder and burning himself, searing the wound closed. "You idiot! You have to get that cleaned, first! What if bits of the bullet are still in there!?"
"Then... I guess I'll never be able to go through a metal detector..." the older metahuman panted, having just endured quite a bit. He was out of breath and sweating, turning a glare from Gear to Hitomi. "Baby my a**."
"Idiot..."
"I'm doin' pretty good, all things considered!" Etna replied to Kirara, with a toothy grin. "A few scrapes here and there, nothing any low-level demon couldn't handle." Curious, she turned towards Minato. "Jumpie and Yukari? They fight like those two often?" She suddenly had the random idea to set up an arena for demons to fight each other and deal with whatever problems they had. Entertaining... but perhaps not something that people back home would appreciate, what with the little fallen angel spreading the word of love, and all.
Jack sighed to himself when others either started helping or said they were going to. This being something he wanted to do to take his mind off of things, he wanted it to take as long as possible. Logic dictated otherwise; they still had other swords to hunt down, and the time they spent recovering, their enemies spent preparing for their arrival. The sooner the better, so he gave no protest, despite what he wanted.
