"Oi."

She didn't resist, and rolled off the Dash-boy before propping herself in a sitting position, knees bent and legs brought back at her side. The tournament thing had made her slightly curious though, so she was still waiting silently, blinking up at the man who had brought the subject while trying to reach for her jar and pull it up into her lap.

"Funny you should mention that." Dash says, straightening his posture now that he's able to stand up, fully. "I'm also interested in info on this tournament. I haven't had a worthy sucker to beat on in ages! In fact, I was tempted to pound on miss Diana here for ruining my lunch!" Dash crosses his arms and shoots a cold glance in Diana's direction. "She lucked out, for now."

He cleared his throat and asked, "Can anyone tell me about the tournament? I need information." He felt uncomfortable, as if they were threatening. He did enter into their place without permission, maybe that's it. He scanned the room for exits and possible dangers. Then his eyes rested on the man with the potatoes.

"Never heard of that tournament, sorry, mister."

Sweatdrop face to Bolt, followed by an annoyed face at Dash, followed by a small punch in the side of the leg, followed by grumbling about how a certain unknown a*****e was too full of himself to beat up a drunk mosquito or something. Idle rambling, really. If the guy wanted a beating though, she'd happily hand his a** to him.

"I heard there was a stadium being constructed nearby, though. Maybe you should check up there?" Pure logic.

"I kind of figured the stadium was for that, but... I don't know.. I don't want my opponents to see me before hand. They might assess all my weaknesses before we do battle. That would be unfortunate. So I'm looking in this area for information. Now, granted, I may run into plenty of enemies but.." He smiled, "At least they won't know it."

Dash steps aside after recieving the punch to the leg. His focus now returns to this Diana person. "I was going to let you off with a warning, but since you took it upon yourself to not only come crashing into me, but strike me as well! Which, by the way, was somewhat painful..." Dash rubs his leg briefly. "I have no other choice but to assume that you, in fact, desire a beatdown." Dash smirks and clenches his hands into tight fists. "Of course, you can avoid the humiliation and just apologize.

After nodding politely to those in the room, Bolt walked out of the cafe. He would have to remember the potatoe guy, as he seemed to have a lot of spirit. Maybe they would fight some day? Who knows. Stranger things have happened.

He walked into the street and around side the building. When he was convinced no one would see him, he sprouted wings and sped off into the air.

"Wuss." Poor Bolt was getting ignored at the moment. Dashboard was too busy wasting air, and Diana was too busy repeatedly nudging Dash in the knee. "I didn't hurt you that hard, c'mon." Nudgenudgenduge. Back to Bolt.

"I really don't know then, sorry. Keep looking around, I'm pretty sure someone will know about it somewhere. Or if you really don't want people to know about you, why don't you give a twenty to some punkin and ask him to get some info for you?"

.. but he was already gone. Oh well. Le shrug.

Dash lets out a sigh and glances towards the man who was taking his leave. He's almost tempted to follow after him, if only to see if he would eventually find what he's looking for. This idea was quickly dropped as the repeated nudges to his leg was really starting to annoy him. Then he was called a "wuss".

"Okay, I'm not sure what to make of you. Usually when given that ultimatum, people chose to apologize because they know better. However, you seem to be either stubborn, or stupid. Probably both." Dash hops away, putting himself just out of "nudge" range. "Look, if you have some appearant deathwish, then pick a place where I can slap you around without any property damage. I really don't want to fund another rebuilding project."

Lady Sierra
*Sierra blinks at him and then glances at Fiole.*

"That really isn't necessary... the bed's more than adequate. I can't really blame old memories on a set of linens now can I?"

*Closing her eyes just as she had with her breakfast, Sierra whispers a prayer of thanks to Gaia for it's sacrifice that she might eat.

Opening her eyes, the knife poised in her hand bites into the tender steak and cuts it into bite sized pieces, dipping it in the sauce that pooled about the meat on her plate and eats, enjoying the savoury blend of mushrooms and spices that enhance the meat's flavour., chewing daintily.

After a few bites she looks back to Victor and takes a sip from the glass set near her right hand.*

"That I have questions m'lord... Is rather a given since I've already asked several... The REAL question is... do you have answers for me this time?"

"I suppose we'll see when we get to that juncture, now won't we?" Again, the carefree smile as he cut into the steak, slicing another decently sized chunk out. The meat appeared just a tad bit on the raw side, as a bit of blood would gush out.

However, Sierra's food was perfectly fine, cooked to quite high culinary standards.

"By the way, this carrot..." Victor pointed to his plate, looking up at Fiole.

"Eating only part of your food is bad for you." She sternly said, not leaving any room for protest.

"Awwww, you're mean...there's too many." He said through a full mouth, stabbing two of the carrot peices with his fork.

Fiole tilted her head to the side momentarily. "Pardon me." She spoke softly as she placed a hand on Sierra's shoulder, and then leaned in heavily, pushing her and the chair several feet back, while she clung.

Victor stared on in surprise, as the table suddenly cleaved in half, a giant serated "saw" blade embedding itself into the floor and sending everything flying.

"Oh crap."

Victor still held aloft the fork with carrots.

"The dessert is a mess now...Fiole's pudding is delicious....Doing violent knocks isn't well-mannered, you know?"

A large taloned foot came to rest atop the sands, looming shadows taking their places all around the veranda.

"Right? Well, welcome aboard fellow guests." Victor said with a wave of his fork hand.

Standing upon the beach were a good number of what appeared to be demons, all surrounding one particularly large brute, apparently the leader. He wa sa hulking mass of muscle and horns, his wings no bigger than his talons.

Where's Victor?! The "Sinner"! The brute growled out, his jaws packing as many teeth as physically possible. I've come to crush the b*****d that meddles with our kind!

All around the leader, the various smaller demons began chittering and chanting as well.

Victor!!

Victor!

Betrayer Victor!!

Rebellious Victor!

Die!

Victor!!

Die!

Die!!

Again? ....They sure have been coming a lot more lately....ever since I came to Latent. Henry...did you...?

"Please leave." Fiole stepped forward, placing herself between Victor, Sierra and the demons. "My Master is busdy entertaining a guest. If you need to leave a message, I will---"

Another thunderous crash, as the larger demon tossed another of the saw like weapons, this time only missing Fiole by a mere inch.

I won't say it again! Bring Victor out!!

"So you won't---" Fiole was cut off, as Victor raised his hand up, waving her off.

"That's alright, Fiole. You stay back. You know these types of people, right? They are ones who will not listen. Why don't you make some coffee and I'll finish them up." Victor smiled softly, as he stepped forward, finally taking a bite of the carrots on his fork.

Hahahahahahahaha! Hahahahahaha! Are you serious? The lead demon pointed out with his arm towards Victor. I've brought so many demons just to demolish, Victor. Quit your babelling!

"I am Victor, you backwater neanthedral."

Fiole stepped backwards into the house, to do as she was told, never even realizing that perhaps Sierra was in some sort of shock, or just plain confused.

WHY YOU!!! The lead demon barreled his arm forward, aiming to smash Victor into the ground right then and there.

Within the kitchen, Fiole worked diligently, setting the pot aside and pouring two steaming cups of french vanilla coffe. Taking hold of a small tray, she placed both cups atop it, and made her way back to the veranda.

"Master Victor, I'm sorry to keep you waiting...Also." Fiole stood on the steps leading towards the beach, where in the center, stood Victor.

Everything around him was pure death. Every single demon lay disembowled, dismembered, gutted, and broken apart in various ways. The lead demon himself had been rend limb from limb, and left in a bloody mass.

An odd estatic macabre grin was on his face, almost...as if he were elated at what he had just done. His entire body was covered in demon blood, his clothes stained...and twin horns protruding from the top of his head.

"I brought you clean clothes to replace your dirty ones."

"Whoa." When he stepped away, poor Diana gave a nudge to the air, which kinda made her lose balance again and fall toward Dash in a very grascious faceplant.. Great day for staying up. While he was busy lecturing her, she was busy not listening and rubbing her head.

When Diana noticed he wasn't going to shut up though, she figured she'd start the fight he seemed to be yearning so. In a single sweep, Diana rolled on her back and spun around, breakdance-like, bringing an extended leg to slam into Dash's own to make him trip. Regardless of the result though, she'd quickly roll over toward her jar and away from Dashboard, picking it up, getting to her feet and grinning.

"What? Scared to scratch yourself on the corner of a table? Sheesh, sorry princess. Just try not to get lost and I'll bring you to a nice place."

And thus, giggling, she slammed out of the cafe and bursted down the street toward the beach.

Dash finds himself staring at the cieling. He didn't seem to mind that the eyes of nearly everyone in the cafe were on him. A grin cascads across his face and he chuckles. "Great." Dash returns to his feet via a swift handspring just in time to see Diana rush out the door. "You're making a terrible mistake!" Dash calls as he takes a step forward to engage in persuit. However, his advance is halted as he steps in the puddle of mashed potatoes left on the ground earlier and is once again staring at the cieling. "Dammit..."

This time, in a much less graceful manner, he stumbles to his feet and tears out the door, stopping to look around in hopes of seeing which direction his opponant had run in. He spots her some distance away, headed towards the beach and gets moving.

*Sierra blinked at the table as it caved in on itself, cleaved in two by the demonic weapon. the end the weapon resting neatly, cemented in the floor where she had been sitting. She didn't scream or move, she simply smirked and raised a fine eyebrow in question.

She admired Fiole's loyalty and the bravery the woman possessed, as Victor asked her to stand down, Sierra took her time observing the demon hoarde. As Victor rose to meet them and the maid vanished into the kitchen, the elf maiden rose gracefully to her feet.

As Victor made his way down to the sands and the demons came at him, She stepped out onto the balconie and let her golden gaze drink in what was about to unfold. As the sea breeze stirred, the scent of the fresh salty air quickly changed to the rancid and acrid odor of demon's blood and charred flesh.

While the macabre show took place, with her the only audience... the carnage only seemed to bring the smirk on her face into a twisted smile...

The elf maiden's pale skin pulsed with an inner silvery light, as if she had swallowed the moon, an ethreal glow that lit up her eyes. The pupils had drowned, swallowed by golden flame as the black tattos and runes that marked this woman as a demon traced over her skin in elaborate designs.

Four black feathered wings had sprouted forth from the woman's slender back, it was as if the gown was made to accomodate just that function.

The ankle length hair that was normaly the shimmering of polished rubies, was now the bright crimson of freshly spilt blood, the silken strands streaked with obsidian.

Sierra was still aware of all that took place, but it was Ra'kar who was in posession of her body at the moment.*

Terrible mistake? Maybe, but playing tag was fun. Diana peeked over her shoulder, and was pleased to see Dashboard following her. Fumbling in her pocket, she pulled out a few strips of paper, reading the words written on them as she kept running, trying her best to remember which way to go and not drop the large jar on her shoulder.

Imposs......ible..... What.....are you.... The lead demon's head stared vacantly up at Victor, the life draining out of it in torrents...leaving it a bare husk. Wha....a....

Victor continued smiling, that crazed look plastered all over his face.

".......Are you all right, Master?" Fiole stepped beside Victor, bringing him out of his momentary lapse.

"I got cut a bit...." He said, hand raised as he smiled bashfully. His right hand was bleeding, a thin line of red going across the flesh. "Haha....I'm still not back to full strength...." He smiled, satisfied, as he closed his eyes. "Were you worried?"

"I....was... I was...really worried....Worried alot." Fiole said, her milky eyes almost looking as if tears would begin to flow from them.

Victor lifted his right hand up against her cheek, holding it close to her mouth. Her cheeks softly flushed, as she took hold of his offered hand, and began licking the blood seeping from his small wound.

"Mmn...." She licked softly, and suckled along his injured hand; Victor lifted the cup of coffee to his lips, drinking in as his yellowed eyes settled on Sierra.

"........Your coffee tastes the best."
