Astrid Fantasy So I'm working on Tori right now... Since MH Tori is so nice... Lol my horror version looks so unlike her, save for the female features and... Plant life. She's certainly... A troll. The kind that scares the children. Her hair is a mess though, kind of annoying the way I put it... I dont feel like shading. She will be finished soon. All I can picture is like...if the movie Troll crossed with Little Shop of Horrors.

Lemme explain this  Since Tori is a troll, I made her into a... Troll. Her hair is composed of squiggles dead shrub and thorns. Instead of flowers blooming from her hair, I have replaced them with flytraps. Sharpened nails and tree-bark toenails like any troll. My wrists are on fire after drawing that hair. Face inspired by creatures from Adventure Time. I've gotten pretty good at muscular/rocky figures, not to brag.

Hey, so uh... sorry for ghosting for a little bit there. My husband gets really bad sinus infections in the winter and his first one of the year has had him out of commission for about a month now... anything beyond work, FrightShow Fighter and sleep is too much, so I've had my hands full taking care of things... and then I caught it too, so this past week has been an absolute hell for both of us. x__X
Fortunately, I've been on antibiotics and I'm just now feeling like my old self again; and he's seeing a specialist soon so hopefully this won't be a chronic problem anymore! I've tuned back into the plot and I'll have a response up sometime tomorrow. smile
In other news, my local roller derby team is holding tryouts, which involves a 6-Sunday boot camp... and even though I'm woefully out of shape and haven't been on roller skates in about half my lifetime, I'm totally thinking about trying out! I mean yolo, right? the kids still say yolo, don't they?

I love all that you did with her! She looks like she could take out trees! Beefy! That hair is epic! I like the description on her toe nails too! Thank you! I'm so happy you love it so much. At first I was like "this looks nothing close to Tori, oh well" but then I was like ill turn it in anyway. I hope the partial nudity doesn't violate Monster Highs dress code. XD But trolls are quite primitive. I want to do Draconia next cus she's hella rad... But I'm trying to figure out how to make her into a scary dragon without actually turning her into a scary dragon, y'know? I'm thinking that some time in the future I will be digitalizing all these drawings on PhotoShop.

David Bowie died yesterday... found out at like 3 in the morning and haven't stopped crying since then. I've never been this emotionally gutted over a celebrity death in my entire life, but then again Bowie kinda shaped my entire life when I discovered him as a teenager... I'm just at a loss for words. I can't deal with today at all...
