Daniel looked at the man and turned around holding Winter close as he headed back to the house slowly. "why did you leave the house winter?" he asked calmly

Winter bit the inside of her lip and said what she remembered, "I was taking a walk around the edge of the woods facing the house. I'm sorry.."

Winter looked at her feet. "I'm sorry... I just didn't seem them and I couldn't get back fast enough.." She didn't think about the baby, which made he feel even more guilty.

Winter nodded and said softly, "Yes sir.." She was beating herself up inside as they reached the house.

Daniel stopped near the steppes and let go of winter "you better go inside before they go crazy from worry" he said calmly. he blinked and then backed up a few steps and turned around heading back to town

Winter frowned. "No.. I don't remember that. And if they were I don't want them. I have no way to support all of them and they would all either escape or be taken away."

Winter looked down at her feet, pondering over some stuff and frowning. She didn't want to fire anyone. That would be cruel seeing as most of them had their own mates. "Oh.."

Winter sat down on the steps her head in her hands. She had forgotten a lot. Baby? What baby? She barely had remembered Daniels name much less the fact he was her master. She choked back the angry tears that wanted to roll down her cheeks. "Oh.." That seemed like the only thing she could say, because she was too in shock to say anything else now.
