Abiba stared at the pile of rocks with her ears pinned against her head. She didnt like this...She really didnt like this...
"Rai...Chu?"
Sliding off the back of Lumina's mount, the little Raichu was about to dash over and help when a twing of pain from her injured leg forced the pokemon to stop with a whimper. The only thing keeping her from helping was that deep cut...
Again, she whined unhappily.
If only her trainer and her father were here....

 "Oh gawd! Cas! Casanova where are you!" Jypsum yelled as they cleared the rock slide. She spied Kohl and lept off Odette's back. "Help with the rock slide please? I've got to find Cas!"

"Mrs. Sharp Tooth!" she called, "Have you seen the Raichu I had?" she asked frantically.

"Chaha!" Casanova laughed, jumping onto Kiyo's head. "Rai rai chu." he squeaked contently.

Rose nodded her thanks to the girl and took the rock, tossing it into a ditch with the rest she'd been gathering from the pile tauros'd left in its wake. WHEW. This was hard work!
"If anyone has a water pokemon, now'd be a great time to get it out, get some misting action going! Or maybe after...it could spray us all down...at least we'd just be wet getting to town, not all muddy..."

 "I shouldn't have named you Etnaaaaaaaa!" Robin yelped, hanging onto both the Onix and his violin case for dear life as Etna sped out of the way of the rocks hurled into their path by the apparently-volcanic explosion. "I think I believe in fate now," the musician continued hoarsely as the Pokemon slowed to a stop. His arms were locked around Etna's horn, and his hair had been severely tangled by the rush. "Remind me not to name any more Pokemon after natural disasters."
"Oooonix," Etna grunted, but she was paying no mind to her rider. She was inspecting the newly-formed rock wall that now blocked their way.
"Oh, dear," Robin murmured. "I knew it was too good to be true. Of course we're not going to get to Motterossa that easily."

O-oh s**t! Nina's Ponyta was backing up now, worrying her more than a little. Why had it gotten so quiet?
...well, it had been quiet, Nina amended to herself. The explosion had been loud, and her rental Ponyta was now panicking away from the chips of rock - lucky for Nina, because she was too shocked to say a word. She waited for the dust to settle before looking for her companions and the red group. "Opal? Alexa?" she called, glancing around. Well...
Nina did not have a shovel. What she did have was a Ponyta and a Swablu, and arms. "Ugh," she muttered. She didn't want to get dirty, but there was no way she was turning back now that she'd spotted an Eevee. She stripped her jacket off and placed it on her rental Ponyta, dismounting to lend a hand in any way she could. "Does anyone know if fire works on rocks?" she mused aloud.

Giving a sharp nod towards Lumina, sliding off Nitro's back and jerking the heavy back off his back, slapping his back a few times. "Nitro, use Take Down, I need to check to see if anyone was hurt," he told the pokemon, scratching the scruff on his shoulder before jogging in the other direction. The tauros nodded back, snorting out breath before scratching the ground with it's hooves, slamming onto the larger rocks.
Meanwhile, Liam eyed the situation with furrowed brows, taking survey for a second before cupping his hands around his mouth.
"Is anyone injured?"

 Seeing that the workload was more immense than she thought, Lisa let out the rest of her team. Merlin the misdreavus cackled as he exited, but was quickly put in place by a snarling Midnight. Temporal Gate, who for once had some emotion on his face, smugly turned to his trainer as if to say "I told you so" before going and digging at the rocks and dirt with Midnight. Merlin helped out in his own special way, taking the rocks away one at a time an piling them precariously somewhere else. Pity the poor fool who crossed the misdreavus' little trap.

 Meeka laughed sheepishly at Rhia. "Aha . . . " As the Mewtwo got to work, Meeka let out her entire party. Ebba, Kiru, Krac came out as Avella and Terri reasserted themselves. "Okay, everyone!" she called, get to work!"
Her entire team was digging, clawing, slashing and wetting the mud with all their might. Meeka sighed and took a seat. Yea, this sucked. Sucked a lot. S

Rachel was just about to ask Rei to try and stomp a boulder when she heard some one ask about a pokemon. She turned towards the voice and out of the corner of her eye she spotted a Luxio in a nearby tree, clinging to it. "Is some one missing a Luxio? There is one over here!"

"Get this plonker off of me!" Kiyo shouted angrily and swatted at the Raichu on his head. He called out for the owner, hoping he or she would come in a hurry. If they didn't there would soon be another Pokemon missing...

Rhia smiled as someone took the rock from her, then looked back to Oyumi.
"Carter and I were talking before you arrived about why the Eevee had appeared, about how there had to be a good reason." Rhia eyed the length of the rockslide that had nearly toppled into their caravan.
"I'm beginning to think," she said, looking suspiciously at the clod of dirt in her hands, "That whatever drove them into the open, no matter how happy that last Eevee seemed, might be more complicated and dangerous than we thought."
She turned her sharp blue eyes to Oyumi for a moment, her expression echoing the suspicion and concern in her words. Rose's suggestion of Water Pokemon reached her ears and she smiled.
"A good wash down after we're done would be a great idea. I'm beginning to think a shower will be what I enjoy most in Motterossa!"

Alexa made Vincent stop digging so he could rest for a minute. Hearing her name being called she looked around and spotted Mina. "Mina!" She called waving her hands, "Over here!" Vincent was already moving back to the rubble ready to dig some more.

Flint works at the rocks, getting to a section that was mostly mud, he makes a faces but begins digging the mud away, they had to get to Motterossa. he wasnt about to come all this way just to get stopped by something like this, no way.

Watching the pokemon slide off, Lumina nearly jumped when she saw it wince, "Don't move, it's alright." She knelt down to it, "I'm no healer, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to stay off that and let it heal." The watcher paused, then a bit more self consciously, "Would you mind if I carried you..? You could stay on my back and shoulders while I go help clear the rubble." It felt weird to just leave the poor thing. She had yet to spot its trainer.

Peering up, Lumina swung her head across the crowd to see where the voice came from, "The trees?" She gave a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness."

Taka leaps up the tumble by bolder and perches atop the mounds of stones. His tail swishes idly as he watches the other work. Onix are well suited to moving the massive rocks, lower creatures to digging and dragging, but he need not dirty his paws with such menial labor. He is-
"Taka, get you flea-bitten rear down here!" The harsh call of his "master" gaits over all despite the raucous sound of moving earth. He hunches his narrow shoulders in displeasure. The queen b***h summons.
