Earendil chuckled and put one hand on Miyuki's head gently. "Yes, but I'm back. And now you need to sit down so that we can eat."
He nudged her towards her chair and sat down in the chair next to her.

Taking the hint, Miyuki climbed onto the chair. She shifted around a bit until she was able to sit on her bum, with her legs dangling over the edge.
"Okay!"
Lin chuckled at that as she took a seat on the other side of Miyuki, "You had a lot of fun though right?"
Miyuki nodded at this, even without her ada she had a lot of fun.

"That's good," Kaito grinned. "Maybe tomorrow you can take Amalirahc with you, he was bored out of his mind today!"
"You should tell them to come up here," Earendil agreed. "They can stay here. I'm sure Leyenda and Kelirahc would love to see the city again, and Amalirahc I'm sure would love to play with the children."

Well that would be perfect, to have Amalirahc along too Lin thought, "And I'm sure Rhea would like to see them as well..."
It had been a very long time and Leyenda and Rhea were both adventurous in nature.
"Then Amalirahc can come and play at the playground," Miyuki exclaimed.

"Which I'm sure he would love," Earendil smiled as they were served their food.
Just then, Rhea and Aurin entered the room, with Aurin escorting Rhea carefully to the table. She looked a bit tired, but other than that she looked fine, and it was clear by the light in her eyes that she was excited to see even more guests there for dinner.
"Welcome back, Kaito," she grinned at the neko. "It's good to see you again."
"And you," the neko grinned back. "Wow ... you look great. When are you due?"
"Next week," Rhea replied as Aurin helped her into her seat. "And believe me, I'm ready." She laughed.

"Then we'll get to see the baby?" Miyuki asked.
She had seen babies, but she wondered what this baby would look like.

Rhea giggled and set one hand on her stomach. "Yes, then you'll get to see the baby," she assured the child.
Earendil chuckled and looked over at Lin. "I remember hearing about your first experience with a pregnant woman ... you thought it was a dreadful inconvenience, having a baby that way."

Lin blushed at that, "That was way before I even had seen a pregnant woman, the only reason why I knew about it was because I once asked where my Mom and Dad's vases were."
Since the majority of the family were Seconds, chances were someone came from a vase or by some other method that didn't involve becoming pregnant.

Earendil chuckled. "It was amusing to hear about anyways."
Their food brought to them, they began to eat. After the meal, it was time for most people to go to bed, or at least head off to do their own thing. Earendil picked up Miyuki (who seemed quite tired) and headed off with Lin to take Miyuki to bed.
"So," he smiled at Lin, "you're going to have to tell me all about what you learned today."

"Where should I start?" Lin chuckled up at Earenidl.
She watched as Miyuki nod off on Earendil's shoulder. It seemed like it took a city full of children to finally wear her out.
"There's so much I hadn't realized before."

Earendil chuckled and stroked Miyuki's back gently. "Such as? Maybe you could start with what surprised or amazed you the most about it."
That would give her a good start, and he could ask questions from there.

Lin laughed, "Personally i think the most surprising thing was how easily Miyuki left with the other children, but... you remember how they were so eager to ask questions on our first visit here. They have not lost that eagerness at all. It was amazing... granted I think Miyuki was a bit overwhelmed by it all."

Earendil chuckled. "Bear in mind, they're not likely the same children that we saw when we were first here. Those ones would be at least Celeb's age by now."
He wondered if Celeb would be coming with the others tomorrow. The boy was very nearly a man, he wouldn't have to ask permission anymore, and Earendil was certain that he would like to see what became of the friends he had made on their last trip.

"Yes, I know, but I mean overall the children apparently are always like this," Lin replied.
She couldn't have imagined until she had seen it once again for herself what Elros had meant about them being the most open children he had ever met.

Earendil chuckled. "Well, that's good. Perhaps if Aethos is gone for a while, and returns a changed man, the children will be so happy to accept him that the rest of the population will do the same."
Really, he hoped that Aethos would be accepted by the people upon his return. He suspected that part of the reason why he didn't see how the country had changed since Aerin's return was because the people acted the same around him because of their fear.
