He smiled at her proudly. " Well then darling, we'll sign the papers in the morning, We'll rent an inn room tonight, and handle the furniture shopping, atleast the basic part, tomorrow. i'll have you moved in by the weeks out." he swore nuzzling her neck warmly and lifting her into hhis arms bridal style once again.

She smiled and kissed his cheek again while he carried her. "Sounds good to me." She yawned and rested her head on his shoulder. "Sleep sounds pretty good right now though." She said with a small laugh.

He smiled at her gently , misty eyes meeting hers " as long as I get to be the teddy bear."
The inn wasn't far, and he sat her on the steed, walking it toward the inn stable, then supported her as they walked in to buy a room. The inn keeper gave them a key and waved them off, Valor thought it rude but decided to keep his head, for Amanda's sake. She was the priority.

She smiled and when they made it to the room she sighed happily, slowly wondering over the hard bed and almost fell on it, taking off the hood and her shoes, curling up on the bed and looking over at Valor with a tired smile.

He wasn't far behind, working off his shirt and shoes, washing his hands and face in the water basin and climbing in beside her. He was careful to pull up the blankets and draw her into his chest lovingly.

She smiled and snuggled against him, yawning and closing her eyes. "I love you." She whispered as she started to drift to sleep, resting her head against his chest.

He sighed with a smile and whispered "I love you too." just as they both fell asleep. There was no nightmare tonight. Just that feeling you get when you're with somebody special and you know nothing can touch you so long as you are...

They slept for hours, the night calm and happy as they slept. Amanda woke up in the early afternoon, not bothering to move. She wanted to wait for Valor, not wanting to wake him from sleep that he rarely got.

Valor woke at the change in her breathing, siting up instantly excited like a child. Today was the forst day of the rest of his life, and he was going to buy a home, and woo his lady, make her safe and carry her bags... all the things the heros in his books would do for their loves, he fancied himself a hero like them now.

She stayed laying down and smiled up at him. "I'm glad you are happy too Valor." She grabbed his hand and drew it to her mouth and kissed his knuckles. "Now how about we go and buy a house today."

He smiled and nodded, getting up quickly and redressing, eyeing her tattered clothes a bit and feeling that guilt well up again.

She got out of bed and slipped on her shoes, looking up at Valor. "We will worry about clothes later as well Valor, it isn't as important to me as a house is." She picked up the cloak and looked at it, kind of not liking the thing as it was. She put it on her shoulders and tied it around her neck, letting it hang there as she watched Valor.

He took Amandra by the hand and walked her to the city hall, serving as a realiters office for the time being. It was a dull sitting, but Valor had a truely suprising sum of miney built up and easily out bid the other parties; anything for Amanda. When they left that office, they were the proud owners of 2415 Sunnybrook Drive, and to celebrate he kissed her cheek, slowly inching toward that moment when he'd meet er lips, but not quite yet. It wasn't time.
Next, would be the fun part. He took her into a fine furniture store, It had everyting and much much more stretching for almost an entire acre of handmade goods.

She smiled and had a glow to her now, a proud owner of a home. When they got to the furniture store she was careful where she walked, unsure how to handle being able to pick something out that would make her happy. "Valor, I don't know how to pick out furniture, and I don't know how to spend money." She looked up at him and looked like a lost puppy trying to find its way around.

He gave her that soothing smile and touched her cheek with ease. " just decide what you like best, and I'll do the rest ok? I honestly don't care if it matches or what it looks like, if it makes you happy, it's yours. Don't sh away, don't even look at the price tag alright? I'm dedicating toda your rebirth day." It was a sweet notion, and he again fought off the urge to kiss her lips.
