Granted, but now that everyone is naive enough to think that true love can exist for anyone, there is an infinitely greater number of pseudo-emos who cut because of a breakup and whine and cry relentlessly online over the inevitable.

I wish people were more intellegent.

Granted, now everyone but you has an IQ of at least 200. This makes dinner conversation difficult.

I wish for my roommates to disappear so I can get the double all to myself.

Granted, but in this time period, eBay customers tend to prefer modern, abstract expressionist works over neo-classic realism. Your realistic painting of the selected flower only sells for $4.97.

Granted, but when you get the game and wifi it doesn't work! Instead it streams pictures of pikachu flashing you! How scary!

Granted, but it is not the same Emma that you wanted to call you. Instead, it is a ghost of a member of 17th century Austrian royalty who has called to warn you that she has become a serial killer. You inform the authorities, and are promptly placed in an asylum for schizophrenia.

I wish I could cure the glitch in my copy of A Link To The Past for GBA and finally be able to play that game again.

Your software works, but your hardware gets fried. Besides the game becomes obsolete for everything but the computer you had.

I wish I could have a big gooey chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream on top.

Granted, but the new tiara goes up much further than the original, and your computer keeps bidding automatically for you.
