Well this is not my real idea, but my friends idea, can we make a valentine's day secret giver like before that organize by kaelyn ?
Or could we make make a contest like making valentine's HPGoG banner, but i prefer make new picture with valentine's spirit for guild home (guild main page) that would be great (no offense to KT weirdchick, cause i think this image is great). For the prize we could ask someone from slytherin that just bought *cough*jackedupshirt*cough*.
What i really want is house elves can participate in event like survivor cause it's so fun, but i want this event can be participate from all person, house elves - student and no limitation for how many can participate.

Okay, it's probably because I'm so new, but when I searched for my username as a member to see how many posts I'd made (A required stat for joining House Elf classes) I wasn't there yet. How long should I expect to wait before checking again? Can you let me know somehow when I'm able to join the House Elf classes?

Are you sure you can't see how many posts you made? I just did a check right now and saw your post number no problem (was 24 or 25 or somethin... I have a horrid memory sweatdrop )
Perhaps it's a glitch. In the past the guildmember search has been notorious for claiming guildmembers weren't members when in fact they were. Try searching again, now, and see if you can't see your post count.

I just wanted to second Michel's idea - I think it is really awesome. (I'm not sure I would be able to throw together a graphic myself, but I sure would love looking at them lol )
Oh and I really like the new banner on the front page - it seems very official and neat! Kudos to KTweirdchick biggrin

The guild is pretty much fine and organized so I'm finding it hard to add a suggestion but 'Heart Events' such as what Michel de Nostradamus stated could definately add interest to the current members to the guild.
Just to pin point, the guild homepage certainly looks better with the added image.
Another, I just can't help but notice that the Great Hall doesn't seem to hold in much members lately... It hasn't been a much of an active place...
Overall, I find the guild a much welcome and organized one so more power...

I really like Mike's Valentine's idea. I'm new to Gaia and the Guild, so I'd love any special events.
Also, I don't like that the current event is not open to elves. Elves are people too, you know... Oh, wait... I mean, elves are members and fans, too, you know. sweatdrop
Maybe you could fix this by making a seperate version just for elves, or opening it to elves, or making a new event soon, that all can participate in. It's hard to have guild pride when you feel excluded.
Also, could you specify that Ravenclaws post in Dark Blue, not Light Blue; and Slytherins post in Green, not Silver; we can't do much about Hufflepuff, but you get the idea. This would just help people read your posts. Also, have you tried posting in Document? It might make colours easier to read.
Sorry to be a complainer, I really do love the guild! heart

If you advertized more in different forum types (such as in the GAIA comuntiy discussion or entertainment disscussion) more people of deifferent types coud join and work hard to get sorted and then apply to teach the open classes.
Also I find that in the writers and role playing forums peole have a better chance of posting more meaningful post rather than the chatterbox forums. (they pay more attention to the topic of the forum and work to do the best they can to improve the topic and make it meaningful!! >.<)

Anywho, the current guild event...by that you mean the Survivor? That event was open to everyone in this guild including the house elves (from what I recall) you just had to send in a 1000 gold trade to join the teams. I think you might have entered the guild when the sign-ups were closed and the games were already starting. As you can tell, we are trying our best to set up a Valentine's Day Event aka the End of Term events. This I am sure will include the house elves.
As for the house color posting...i'm not so sure on what to do about that. I think Angil, Icee, Juni, or KT can clear it up since i feel its alright for those in houses to post in colors similar to their house colors.

I thought it might be nice to have a birthday list, I would be willing to keep track of it, and help out, I think it's nice to let everyone know that their special on their birthday biggrin
This would only work if everyone was willing to send a pm with their birthday though, and I understand if you don't want to give out that information.
What does everyone else think?
