[Anyone heard from Megalyn recently? I know she was having problems, just wondering if she's coming back or not...and by extension of that, anyone heard from Raven?]

((I'm back!! Sorry everyone! College and Christmas shopping and life has been kicking my butt.))
Cherry snuggled slightly closer to Cam and looked up at the sky. She began to wonder what would really become of this school year. It was obvious Hogwarts was a mess and judging by the burning sensation in her arm the Death Eaters were rising more and more everyday. "Cam... I decided this school year I was going to search the library for information on my mother. And on any good deeds Voldemort might have done. Most of my Grandfather's things got locked away inside the Ministry. All his family stuff. So anything I want to know... it's up to me to find. And one day I want to get into a ministry library." Cherry told him, putting her hand around her necklace again.

[Ah, no worries, life is more important. And ah, good ol' college, eh XD]

Cam followed her gaze up at the sky, nodding at her idea. It was nice...but he thought the part about Voldemort was going to be futile.
"I'll help you if you want." he offered. "I don't know if the library here will have much, but I can help." he continued, pushing his glasses up his nose.
"Hell, I'll see if I can help you get into the Ministry. Those are going to have a lot of stuff...two heads are better than one for that." he said with a smile, leaning his head against hers.

[hey yall! sry that I"ve been sort of hit and miss recently. My internet got a major slap to the hard drive when my land lord put a password on his wireless. I'm going to be very hit and miss for a while. I'll only be able to get online at the library...where I am currently. I"m going to post in about 5 minutes if any of you are on reading this now...I need to catch up...seems I've missed a bit crying ]

Carina smiled at Raven and Draco before they left. "Night guys." She said, closing her mirror. Upon Neville explaining his predicament, she gave him an encouraging smile. "Neville, it's totally understandable. But, if you can accept me, despite what my parents did to yours, facing Draco will be nothing, especially since he is trying to make amends." She explained, taking his hand in hers.

Neville smiled. "You're right, Carina. This will be easier than I'd thought." He said giving her hand a squeeze. "You're so wonderful, Carina. I"m glad that.." He said looking at the ground. He was still nervous about speaking his feelings regardless of their status. "I'm glad that I have you." He said moving closer to kiss her cheek tenderly.
Raven walked out of her room, and headed for the bathroom. "Hullo." she said absentmindedly to Crucius, though she was actually speaking to the other boy as she made eye conteact with him. She hadn't seen him in the common rom before, but wasn't worried about anything.
Draco followed soon after, and spoke to both boys, "Once again, good evening." He said with a little wave. He walked up the stairs, and out the portrait hole only to find Raven waiting for him on the other side. "Do you think Neville will be okay with all of this. You know...the meeting in the morning. I made his miror special." He said showing it to her. "Draco. It's perfect. He'll love it." She said kissing him as he tok her into his arms warmly. I just want him to see that I've changed my ways. he thought to himself.

By "the book", I mean DH.] (Yes, that was my intention...so all the book characters aka draco and neville, will have to go through with what happened to them in the books...but what leads them there, and their intentions will be what we tell. biggrin )

Cherry smiled. "I really just mostly want to know about my mother. I never asked Albert because I knew how much it hurt him to talk about her. If there's anything I do know she was the closest thing to an angel anyone had ever seen. My guess is that was her downfall. Like she thought if she loved Tom enough he might not be bad anymore. You know? Like love the hell out of him. Instead it took her life in the end. " she said. "But I want to know why so many people loved her. What made her such an angel to everyone she met?" Cherry said. Then she looked at the sun starting to come up.

"I don't know...but I do know one thing...I see part of her in you." Cam said softly with a smile, wondering if she'd get what he meant by that. He saw the sun peeking over the horizon, and balked a little. It was dawn already?
"I need to get going to my Common Room." he stated, standing up and waiting for her to join him. She did, after all, have the only broom.
He looked at Cherry with a smile. "This was fun, and it was great getting to know you." he told her, hugging her.

Cherry stood up and smiled. She hugged him back. She didn't think much of what he said about her being like her mother. How would he know? She was so vapid sometimes and tended to think things in a whimsical clueless way. " I suppose I should go to my common room too. Why don't you borrow my broom to go to your common room and I'll scurry to my bed." she said and winked.

Apparently, she hadn't gotten it. Ah well. Cameron smiled. "I don't know...couldn't you just get me a ride up there, and then fly it back?" he suggested.
Another thought hit him, and he pulled out the mirror they'd gotten from Raven. "I wonder if these even work...when you get back to your common room, see if you can call this or something." he added, looking at his own reflection in the back before turning it over in his hands to reveal the simple engraving on the back.

Cherry looked at him for a moment. "I just wanted to sneak around a few places in the castle as a fox. Try and see where all the excess information is stored. Other than the library." she said. "When I get to my room I will test my mirror for sure." she said.
