His hand stopped at the door handle as someone called him. He turned around and saw Shizuko, Etsuko's twin.
"Oh, good evening Shizuko...ah no I haven't seen her..." He responded, shaking his head. "You two got separated too?" he asked sheepishly. There was a hint of nervousness and anxiety in his voice as he grew more restless without Don.
Don swelled with happiness, " Sure! " he said brightly. " I'm sure Jon will enjoy your sweets just as much as I do!"

Shizuko's eyes shifted to the side, I have to keep Jon busy
"I just looked in the salon, I didn't see Don, I mean Etsuko in there, do you have any idea where she might have gotten to?"
"This has been a lot of fun, Don," Etsuko said gleaming, "Which sweet shall we finish our night together with?"

"Why not the choclate. Jon is very fond of chocolate." He said lovingly.
Jon looked at Shizuko. "Ah...ok..." he hand slipped off the door handle. "I...guess I'll just wait for him." he mumbled. "Good night Shizuko. Good luck finding your sister."

Shizuko sighed, "Good, he didn't go in and find Don." oh no, I said that out loud, I wonder if he heard me.
"The whole tray is for you two!" Etsuko announced, "But there are several chocolates, so he has a selection too, why don't we have the chocolate torte, I added some cayenne, it is a little kick to the sweet chocolate."

"Ok!" replied Don. Taking a piece. "It's been a very nice night, Etsuko, I don't know how we ended up here, but I'm sure glad it did." He said happily.
Jon turned, "....did you say something?" Jon asked looking very perplexed.

"IDo you think, um, we could do this again sometime, you know, like this," Etsuko stammered, blushing.
Shizuko's face went pale as she began to panic.
"I was saying, uh," Shizuko tried to come up with an excuse until she blurted out, "Do you want to go on a date sometime?"
Crap, why'd I have to say that? I should make a graceful retreat
Shizuko didn't even give Jon a chance to respond, "I should get going home."
she pulled out her cell and sent Etsuko a message:
-We need to go-
-OK-
"Don, it looks like I have to go, I hope I get to see you again soon, bye."
Etsuko got up and headed out the front door of the salon to see Jon and Shizuko.
"Hi Jon, there are some chocolates in there for you to share with Don, bye."
The girls walked past Jon and home for the night.

Don bidded Etsuko good night. "Yeah...maybe." He said softly before he caught sight of Jon.

Jon nearly jumped at the statement, but Shizuko didn't give him time to reply.
As Etsuko came through the doors Jon caught sight of a very ecstatic Don at the table. He merely nodded at Etsuko when she spoke to him but her words didn't reach him, he was already walking pass Etsuko to get to Don.
"Oh hey Jon!" Don said very buoyantly, getting up.
"It's time to go home. " Jon said very stiffly.
"Oh, alright do want a chocolate before we leave?" Don asked gestureing to to plate of treats.
"No. It's time to go." Jon replied very stern, it was almost an order.
"...." Don was a little taken back and was instantly uncomfortable with his brother's strict-like tone, his face was rigid and hard. "Hey, you alright?" He asked quietly with his eyes expressing some mild concern.
"I'm fine, now lets go. It's late." Jon said turning his heel.
"Oh...alright then." Don murmered and turned around and quickly bagged the sweets and left with Jon.
But as they swiftly walked by the girls, Don smiled at them and gave them a small good-night wave.

As the twins walked down the main path to get to the waiting car, Terrence hid in the shadows waiting for his ride. He watched as both twins quickly stepped down from the stairs. Don had a spring in his step even though it was rigid to keep up with his brother. Jon on the other hand was unbending and unnerving, his steps hard and quick, like a concentrating soldier. As they walked briskly by, Terrence continued to watch them. Don was quiet in his walk, but Jon's heels clicked by him.

The rhythm strict, clear and directing.
Terrence watched them with arms folded and heel up, resting against the tree root; as they both climbed into their limo and headed for home.
He looked up at the raising moon, it contrasted so much against the night sky with his perfect circle cut shape and deathly orange glow.
"Mister Maxwell." called a man.
His ride 'home' was here.

Keiko sat down at a table on the upper balcony.
"Uh Miss Amy?" Called a boy's voice, "Are you going to the Host Club Ball?"
"Oh um, well I don't know," the girl answered, "I don't really have anyone to go with,"
"W-would you go with me?" the boy asked.
"Really?!"
"Uh it can be just as friends," he paused, "I know you'd want to dance with one of the Host Club members."
"Oh, but it would only be one dance, I'll go with you."
"Really! Great, i'll pick you up at 8 then." The boy skipped off.
The girl soon followed.
"What idiots." Keiko grumbled, "I hate this."

Arai leaned against the banister looking down upon the fountain on the first floor, his bokken leaning against one of the rungs.
"That stupid Host Club," Arai grumbled just loud enough for Keiko to hear, "Ryuu is being waisted on it. He should get out of it before he ruins his reputation."

Keiko's ear's perked when she heard some mention something about the host club. She looked around and noticed Arai. Wasn't he the one after Terrance? Hmm, I wonder.
Keiko got up and walked over to Arai, leaning on the railing without making eye contact she asked, "Why would a member from an opposing Yakuza family care about whether MY brother, Ryuu, is in the Host Club." She tried to act annoyed even though she was slightly interested. "You really shouldn't but your head into another family's business."
Keiko looked at Arai, "Why did you suddenly come to Ouran? Your family must have some business here."

"He will become the head of the most powerful Yakuza, every family watches his and your movements," Arai said calmly, "I'm from the second most powerful family, only rivaled by your own. When we noticed you coming here as well my family decided that Ouran is probably a good place for me to learn your family's ways of being better than my family."
Arai stood up and looked at Keiko, "You look much better as a blonde."

Keiko began to laugh, "So your forced to like me?" Keiko looked at Arai, "I'm not interested in being a pawn for your family."
Keiko began to walk away then turned back to Arai, "The only reason my grandparents are having a fight over Ryuu's future is because he has a very keen sense of business which means that he'd be perfect for both families. But he can only be head of one. If you want to help your family befriend Ryuu not me."
Keiko turned away, "The reason your family is only second is because they rely too much on brute force." Keiko shook her head, "No business sense."
Keiko walked back to the table and sat down. "Oh, I'm sorry did I tick you off?"

"It'd take more than that to tick me off, Keiko. And I am the pawn, in more ways than one I fear," Arai stated, "I thought I said that I was hear to learn some business sense, only in a round about way."
Arai pulled out a chocolate bar from his pocket and partially unwrapped it, the wrapper said "92% Dark Chocolate". He broke off a corner and placed it in his mouth.
"This is too bitter for me," Arai muttered, even though he actually did enjoy the taste of the chocolate, "You want it?"

"Hmm." Keiko looked at Arai, "Sure why not, if you aren't going to eat it. There's not point in wasting perfectly good chocolate." Keiko held out her hand.
"Sit down," Keiko ordered as she took the chocolate, she then smiled, "Are you afraid of my brother?" Keiko asked as she bit off some of the chocolate with a snap. "To think that he's toned down so much since he became a Host. Then that stupid Yukimi made him even more soft! Oh I hate her!" Keiko growled.
"But it still doesn't make sense why you don't want Ryuu in the club." Keiko eyed him closely. "As a member of a competing family wouldn't it do your family good for him to remain in the Host Club and become even more soft until he's no longer fit to lead?" Keiko turned back to the chocolate, "Your motives are very unclear. I hate that." Keiko giggled.
