Anilia sighed, and rolled her eyes. "Yes, you may enter" She said in an exasperated tone.

He entered, ignoring her tone. If I want to make this work I have to try and get along. Just got to stay calm... He stood before her and bowed courtly. "Greetings, milady. How fare this day?"

"That's good...Umm..." Trying to carry on a conversation with her was like trying to stop the tide. "Please don't think me impertinent, milady, but we were arranged to married. Is there a problem with me trying to be...sociable?"

"nothing's wrong. I just don't feel like talking" Anilia said, reaching over to take a drink of her water. She turned the page in her book, and continued to read, while watching Edmand.

"Well, when will you feel like talking? milady?" He said it but at the moment, didn't really believe she was acting like one. She's more like a pampered brat than a princess. She's so agravating! What could our parents have been thinking? I should just leave and find the twins. at least Lia will talk to me...

Kao-Kun aka Ky Kiske crescent_starr Bianca happily gathered the fruit. Berry juice stained her hands her basket was soon full, she put it down and grabbed a new basket. She began picking again, the work was not very difficult, but the sun was beating down, and it was extremely hot. Vincent continued picking the berries, the sun beating down heavily upon him. He soon shed his sword and the outer covering of his uniform, leaving his form-fitting shirt to take in the sun's rays alone. He wiped his forehead clean of the sweat that had gathered, and reached for another basket.Bianca finised the second backet She wiped the sewat of her brow and put it down. "Whew its hot" she said and smiled at vincent, he really was a very nice guy, he just wasent Luke. "Lets head back to the kichen and find something cold."

Edmand bowed to her and kept his head down. "Forgive me milady. I believed that when you allowed me to enter, you were willing to talk.If you would be so kind, I would enjoy talking to you when you have finished your reading. Again, I apologize." He stood up. "If you will permit me, I will take my leave." He turned to the door and walked toward it.

~*~♥ ♥ ♥~*~ Once Luke and Lia had exited the sitting room, and they had rounded the corner, Lia turned to her brother. "I better go finish the laundry." and with that she headed back downstairs to collect the clean laundry, hang the just-washed laundry outside to dry, and change the water in the basin so that it was ready for one of the other few servants to wash another load. And when she got there, she did just that. ((*le gasp*))
Once that simple (okay, maybe it wasn't so simple) task was finished, Lia headed back upstairs with a basket of loosely folded clean clothes. She approached the door of Anilia's sitting room where she had been just minutes before, and knocked twice softly before opening the door slightly to stand in the threshold. When she noticed that she had potentially interupted a conversation, (wich was almost imediatly) Lia made a small courtsy with a small bow of the head. "pardon the interuption your Highness, but there's a new load of laundry. Would you rather it be folded or hung?" she asked, once she had stood up. Her soft voice just barely carried through the room, but it was still audible. It seemed like a funny question to ask, but she had not asked one day, and by mistake had folded one of Anilia's gowns that she used during formal occasions and she had gotten in trouble. Now, that was when she had first started working as one of Anilia's servants, but she still asked evrytime to avoid mistake. She hated being yelled at; it was one of the worst thing that someone could do to Lia. Harsh words hurt more than actions to her, and she took a few extra precautions to avoid it. ~*~♥ ♥ ♥~*~

As he turned to the door, he saw Lia standing by herself with the laundry. Where's Lucy... he thought, but was content to see his ray of sunlight to save him from the princess. He turned to Lia. "How fare you, young miss?" He nodded at her. "May I be of assistance and carry your load for you?"

"You may leave Edmand, and talk when i'm done. And Lia, you may fold them" Anilia said, again over the edge of her book. She looked over at her empty water glass. "Lia? Would you get me some more water?" She said.

~*~♥ ♥ ♥~*~ Lia nodded, and quietly walked over to the small table where Anilia's glass was sitting and carefully picked it up. She was still carrying the load of laundry and on top of that carrying the glass and a basket of laundry is hard, thus resulting with Lia carrrying both in an awkward a precarious fashion. 'it's times like these when I'd be happy to have some help. In this case, that would usualy be Luke.' She thought, and Lia had only gotten probably a few feet out of the door, when the glass, (covered with condensation) slipped out of her hand and shattered as it hit the ground. SHe sighed and set the bsket down, standing on her knees, and from there she proceded to start to pick up the big chunks of glass, and she carefully put them in the pocket of her apron. ~*~♥ ♥ ♥~*~

By this time, Edmand had left the room, but waited for Lia outside to talk with her as she worked. As she left the room, he started to move toward her but she dropped a glass. As she bent down and began cleaning up the pieces, he stepped forward and crouched down to help. "Miss Lia, are you all right?" He grabbed several shards and gathered them into a pile. "Would you like some help with your work? I have nothing to do and would very much like to spend my time with- I mean- helping you. That is, if I have not offended you with my offer."

~*~♥ ♥ ♥~*~ Lia blushed slightly as she realized when Edmand was about to say that he would very much enjoy spending his time with her instead of helping her. "no, you didn't offend me. I'd be happy if you'd help me. If you really want to that is." she said, brushing the rest of the glass into her hand then dumping the glass pieces into her apron pocket. There wasn't too much she had to do, she just usually took extra time to do it, again with the extra precautions. She stood up when the glass had been cleaned off the floor, she was just waiting on Edmand's responce and whatever his answer, she'd just end up in Anilia's bedroom folding clothes.
