Bigfoot looks over the edge of the walkway/cliff. "Anyone got an extra torch that they are willing to lose?" Bigfoot asks, testing the edge before putting his full weight on it.

The torch falls a distance, then floats in mid-air... You'd estimate it as being as close to you as forty feet down.
What's interesting is that the torch hovering around there seems to reveal a hole in the wall, perhaps eight feet by eight feet, straight down from the center of the sheer cliff.
A strong gust blows through the level of the pyramid you are on, and your torches barely cling to life. Even after the wind is gone, a noticeable chill hangs in the air...

(I'm guessing that we would die, if we jumped and missed so I'm not going to rise that... yet...)
Bigfoot looks around the room to see if there is anything that could be used to help them overcome this problem. "I'm guessing that nobody would be carrying about 50 ft of rope on them, would they?" Bigfoot says, somewhat joking but somewhat serious...

Looking around the room you find it bare of anything useful.
However, flying silently into the middle of you are two Blue Scarabs, who attack immediately. A pair of Wraiths also emerges from the walls.
Bigfoot and Gonzu are each attacked by a Blue Scarab, while the Wraiths throw Energy Bursts at Bigfoot and Bellamin.
Blue Scarab [24]
Attack: 2
Defense: 6
Combat: 3 (1d cool
Magic: 5
Life: 20
Abilities: Resist Magic x 4 (4)
Actions: Spell Block, Shield Bash.
Spells: Lightning Shell (2 MP, deal damage equal to your Magic to everyone who attacked you this turn.)

Drawing deeply from the wellspring of mana spread throughout the party Gonzu wills the power into both hands. Two orbs of pure energy appear in each palm and flare up, too bright to look at. "Burn you filthy cockroaches!" He flings both blinding orbs at the scarabs.
((Twin blast on both Blue Scarabs. Using the party pool to get the extra MP. There should be enough. There was six after we killed the Lich.))

EditedBellamin turned from the hole, and faced the wraith. With a flourish, he summoned the whisp. As the spirit healed it's caller, Bellamin rushed out through the lifted dust. Echoing his strongest warcry; which would still pale in comparison to full time warriors', he landed a hard blow on the wraith..
