Well, we have a part in our last season's show that goes into a drum break and the low brass lines up and does suicides. I'm a pit member. I was thinking that the Colorguard should line up and do suicides with their flags folded [we refer to if as 'folded' when they're holding the silks and the pole in one hand.], or the pit should run out and line up with the low brass.

One time, we were playing Continental Christmas [it's a weird song] in Concert band, and Every time we played it I would say "You are about to embark on a dangerous quest.....In your travels, you will meet a wizard..." It matched perfectly. Then, later in the song, I was, like, "Let's go shopping!" 'cause it sounded like generic "shopping in a town" music from various RPGs.

Takuya Kanbara Our BD was conducting, I thought I heard the bell, and started to put my instrument away, then he started yelling at me, then one of my friends hit me and I woke up(during band). Anyway, point of the story is that we were playing Pomp And Circumstance, and I was picturing myself with a loaded sniper picking off seniors to speed up the process. Needless to say, I can't play that song with a straight face anymore. rofl Last year at graduation, me and Millzy played every single not of P&C a half-step off. I thought I'd die laughing!

We were playing O Come All ye faithful (band arrangement) in our concert and I thought, " Oh my god the saxes are like three measures ahead... I wish Jesus would come and pimp slap them"

There's a song we play (forget the name) and there's this one little short part that reminds you of Zelda. And every time we get to it I make up a little 5 sec. song about Link to go with it for some reason.
I always start smiling and laughing to myself. =P

it was summer band and we were playing come weird song that had to do with dead people (or so our BD told us) and I had the mental image of a giant lizard taking out the school. sweatdrop but i missed the bassoon que (there's two of us) and my BD was really pished
