(Once in 30 goblins... Once in front of my house... Once in the atlas engage, once on mist island, 3 in PVP, 1 in the first Gerboian Wizards Tournament Spetacular, and once last night in the fountain cave. I think thats about it... so a total of 9... that sounds about right...)
(EDIT: I love irony... Saying i died 9 times was the first post on page 9...)

(woah, lots of deaths. and it is ironic that you said 9 times as the first post on page 9.)
(Well, I've died in the indivual tournament, and 2 in PVP. I've so far died 3 times. ^_^ I have one third of your deaths. I only need 6 more before I tie the record, 7 before I have the record.)

(Yup. Unfortunately I have people with good hp and defense on my team but none of them have defender. And right now, being a mage stinks facing this monster. My fireball only did 2 damage to the beast.... Well, if I die in that dungeon, you'll hear a loud scream during your sleep.)

(Yeah, i saw you were fighting a golem. Just wait untill you fight monsters with magic sheild... Though you can usually target them with your spell since it doesn't effect the person who has it.)

What do you guys all think about inviting Luc into the guild?
He has a liitle bit of mage/arrior/summoner in him. He would make a good red/purple mage.
What do you think?

I think inviting Luc would be a good idea. He seems pretty powerful with his magic abilities and Lucifer, his summon. You've got my vote as a yes!

Well, would I need a seperate thread for my house and shop and arena? Or could I have all three in one thread? I know I need a shop badly, I have waaaay too much junk laying around. I also want an arena so I can duel people who don't have an arena. And I don't know why I want a house, I guess I just want one because everyone else seems like they're getting one or they have one.

As far as your house goes, that fine, make whatever you want. It's usually good for you to ok it with a DM first. Though remember that you want your house to be something special! Try and impliment things that will have people come and hang out, as opposed to other places instead.
Having your shop and house combined is fine! Look at my house!
Though the arena area should probably be put in a seperate thread in the PVP area.

Ok, I developed a 24 pt character build for a MGM character.
Downfall is that its pretty weak compared to a black mage build... but its grows in power quite rapidly.
A-0 D-0 CD-0 L-20(4) M-4 E-0 Abilities: Fast Caster(6), Skilled Caster X2(8 ), Speedy Magic(2)
Spells: Energyburst, Fireball
Tatics: Cast 2 Energybursts a turn for 8 damage a piece. Or us excess MP form the party pool when nessescary to use 1 or 2 firebalss a turn at 12 a piece.
The cool thing is it grows in power quite fast if you pump all your CP into magic. after first dungeon, M=6: 12/EB 18/FB After 2nd dungeon, M=8: 16/EB 24/FB After 3rd Dungeon, M=10: 20/EB 30/FB
Optionally, instead of the second skilled caster, you can take 4 pts equip and purchase a Apprentice staff (400+ticket), to make your character more customizeable in between dungeons and side quests. (With this build you in fact have enough money to buy it too, you would just have to earn it in Fargores tourny.)

Hmm thats an interesting build. Even if I was to put my next 6 points in magic it would surpass me in damage by 6 points, so just barely but still a little. Hmm, but if I put 4 points into skilled magic and the remaining 2 into magic I'll out dps him by 24. As I'll be able to get off two 42 damage fire balls by the time he has enough mp two do his double fireball attack. however if he cast a 0mp energy burst during the first round I'd only be out damaging him by 4. I'll have to play around with the numbers more but it looks like an mgm mage might be able to eventually surpass a pure black mage in dps. However damage wont be as consistent as that black mage.
However I plan to take Kail in a little bit of a different route. He might be king of damage atm but hes going to focus a little more on survivability as he gets more points. I like to be able to take a hit. Right now he is the beefiest mage in the guild. The next 4 points I get will go int getting my next rank of skilled caster. That means one 36 damage fire ball a round without draining the party MP pool as I currently am. From there I think I will put the next 3 points in magic to get to 15 magic. If I can figure out how to get firestorm that means I will be able to instantly clear a room of 15 hp minions. Not only that but it brings my unassisted fireball to 45. From there I'll probably put the next 4 points into life to bring me to 50 health. So later on I wont be dealing as much damage as the mgms but I'll be Hella-hard to kill. I guess I'll be the Order's Mage tank.
