Anyway, this post is to let everyone know that I've changed the Library into the Skyward Penthouse. We have an area to discuss dark fantasy in, which is the Catacombs, so why not have one for the complete opposite? I have started off a few topics as well.
I do need to mention though, that we're getting a lot of activity in the Tavern and not enough elsewhere. It's getting to be a bother. Only me, Hypno and occasionally Hod and Drizzt are posting in the Catacombs, and SK on rare occasions when he can get online. The Fantasy Conference is getting almost nothing, and neither is the Writer's Circle.
The Library is now a single thread in the Writer's Circle.

Hmm, so the Library is now a thread, huh? Good choice. I hardly ever had something to post there cuz I don't read much. sweatdrop
I'll be visiting the new sub-forum in a while.
BTW, I'm thinking that for next month, I should make it so that in order to participate, members need to post in all sub-forums but, I'm not sure how many times. Maybe 3 times during the month at least in each sub-forum?
What does everyone think?

Three times a month is few and far between. If most people can use the Tavern a few times a week, then the other subforums can easily be posted in as well depending on the flow of the topics in question.
If someone feels they can't contribute to one or two subforums, I don't mind, but ALL of them must be used as much as the Tavern. If someone can't contribute to any of the subforums besides the Tavern, they're in the wrong guild because there are specific general chat guilds all over the place. This is PRIMARILY fantasy discussion, and the Tavern is "only" a side area to have a bit of a doss around in as well.
If need be, this post can be quoted as I'm not convinced members read this thread.

Yeah yer right, and since not a lot of members are coming the guild isn't getting much activity in all forums. I'm glad to see some members posting but as you said, it's not enough. Maybe the rules for my contest should be a bit different... I think I got an idea so I'll go post it at the fantasy conference sub-forum (at my user name thread). 3nodding

Hi folks, sorry I've been missing in action for a few days--things have been a little insane around here with me medically and losing my job and everything. Hopefully I'll be able to get online more often now that things are settling down.
I'll look around and see if I can find some stuff to post in. smile

Hey, I don't know if this is worth doing at all but it's just an idea.
I suddenly came up with the idea of creating a pirate RP guild. So, one subforum could be "a ship" of some kind, and there could be others (if need be), and the main forum could be the island where the hideout is, etc etc etc. I was thinking of doing that with my other avatar, Meylihrn.
Of course, I'd still want the RP Hall going on here, but I thought this could be a pirate/maritime specific guild.

BTW, I posted new rules at the "fantasy user names" thread. Those interested in winning an evolving item that is now gone from the Gaia cash shop, should head over and read them. 3nodding I also PMed Charleen93 about coming back here as her post count hasn't risen at all for a while now. I hope she is able to come back.
BTW, sorry I can't check the other sub-forums now, I just don't have the time and the office needs to close.

The guild would basically be a 100% in-character affair except for rules pages and a few general chat areas.

My guess is Mel must have deleted it to make room for some changes. Maybe she'll be moving forward with her idea of making a sub-forum into a ship of some sort. I still can't see how she plans on doing things though... sweatdrop

No, that idea was for a new guild using my mule you guys.
The storeroom was a waste of space to tell you the truth, but the staff room is now in here. I am considering another use for it.
