Vash shook his head at her mumble, but decided not to comment. She felt the way she felt. "Oh yeah, sitting next to a warm fire sounds nice, especially with you." He smiled sweetly at her. "I'll watch your tail for you."

She blushed, ducking her head slightly so a curtain of soft black hair would hide her face. "W-well we probably should stay away from the fire. The heat normally makes me drowzy."

"Oh don't worry, if you fall asleep I'll wake you up." He smiled he coudl think of a few gentle, nice ways of waking someone up. "But, if you don't want to, we don't have to."

"You can if you like." But she was going to curl up on the couch. The two entered the lounge and she flicked on the lights. "Would you like me to start up the fire?"

"You want to, or you want me to?" He thought he could do it...maybe. He watched her with a smile. He wanted to sit next to her and relax near the fire....sounded too romantic.

"I can do it. I'm normally the one that does it whenever me and yuki go in here." She spoke offhandedly, walking towards the fire place and placing some fresh logs in before crunching up the laid out newspapers. "Mmm...have you ever had s'mores?" Malloren randomly asked, putting the crunched up paper ontop of the logs for the flame to catch on first.
OOC: lol! I wonder how she would respond to that

Vash sat on the couch near the fire and watched her build the fire. "S'mores? Some more of what?" Since the doughnuts weren't done yet he hadn't had anything to have some more of yet.

She shook her head, smiling as she picked up the box of matches to the side. "Not some more. S'mores. Peices of chocolate and marshmellow inbetween gramcrackers. I've never had any, though yuki swears they're good." She struck the match and let the flame touch a peice of newspaper to catch slowly.

Vash shook his head, "Nope I guess not then. They do sound good though." He smiled and sat watching her light the fire. He hoped she would sit near him when finished, but wasn't going to push.

She leaned forwards and softly blew on the embers, helping the fire grow and start eating at the logs. She sat back then with a sigh, tail swaying<< there >>malloren softly laughed<< I have created fire!

Vash watched as the girl sat where she was. "Nice fire!" He said with a smile and then waited. Was she really going to deny him the pleasure of his company?

She nodded and smoothly stood to walk back over to the light switch. She flicked it off to save electricity before stopping. Malloren looked back and forth between vash and the fireplace. Be closer to vash...fall asleep by the fire. Be closer to vash...fall asleep by fire. Which was the lesser of two evils? The feline moved back to the fireplace.

Vash watched her turn off the light, which made the room more romantic, but then she sat away from him. Vash's smile got more devilish as he got up and then sat next to her near the fire. "Hi." He said with a chuckle.

As she settled down near the fire, she noticed a movement out of the corner of her eyes. Malloren jumped a bit, head snapping to the side as a deep blush spread over her cheeks. Just vash. But it was vash! "Hey." She responded softly, inwardly wondering how offended he would be if she suddenly moved back towards the couches.

Vash smiled, but didn't sit too close to her. "This fire is really nice." He said as he watched it. "I don't think I've really ever sat in front of one before." He turned his head to smiled at her once more.
